Lol I was 27 when I had my 1st and I’m tiny- 4’11”, 105-110 lbs (depending on different phases I’m in). I was HA-Yuge and got swollen everywhere. My husband had to roll up my pant cuffs and tie my shoes and got a five finger wide diastasis recti split that resulted in half a year of PT to knit back together. Not looking forward to any of this with 2nd baby someday

The eye twitching and varicose veins both could be alleviated by a magnesium supplement, so I've heard! I read that eye twitching is a sign of magnesium deficiency, and mine has been twitching as well (even though I'm not pregnant) so I bought a supplement and have started taking it. And I watched another pregnancy video on CZcams and she said she found relief from the pain of varicose veins when she took a magnesium supplement. It didn't make them go away, but it did make them stop hurting. So hopefully that information helps you! Obviously I'm not a health expert or anything, but I did find this information useful, so I wanted to pass it along in case it helps you or anyone else reading this!

I‘m 11 weeks along and also sneeze all the time 🙈 I googled it & this is what comes up to reassure us: „During pregnancy, blood flow to the mucous membranes increases. The nose is full of mucous membranes. The extra blood flow causes the nasal passages to swell, which leads to extra watery discharge and congestion. Both the additional discharge and congestion can lead to increased sneezing.“ 👍👍

Do you take magnesium? I had varicose veins with my third as well, and a couple days after taking magnesium every day the pain was gone. They were still there, but didn't hurt. It also helped with leg cramps, constipation, and sleeping well. Can't recommend it enough when pregnant, assuming your doctor approved. I took about 325mg/day of the Natural Calm magnesium powder.

      @emilys3638 Před 3 lety +1

Yes!! This! I'm so glad another person mentioned magnesium because not only have I heard that it helps varicose veins, but the eye twitching can also be a symptom of magnesium deficiency! So it definitely seems important to take magnesium during pregnancy. Just watch out for low iron levels if you choose magnesium citrate (the form of magnesium found in Natural Calm). I had to research and learn about different magnesium forms! Apparently magnesium glycinate is a really good type overall.

    From a chronical headache Girl:
-Try mint-oil on the forehead (helps release muscles)
-any sort of warmth around shoulders (here in germany we have even stick ons that get warm)
    - hot/warm foot baths help to get the blood out of your head
-try to release neck muscles (there are many videos on youtube, i personally love maddi Morrison)
    - it might also come from drinking less coffee so thats... Not really solveable i guess

Delilah. You can get compression underwear to help with the varicose veins! I just listened to a podcast this morning about a lady who had the same and with her 4th pregnancy it got really bad. You put them on before you get up in the morning and it just helps with easing the pain and the appearance. On Spotify the podcast is ‘Australian birth stories’ and it is the latest episode and all the products mentioned in the episode are linked in the show notes xxx

If you have eye twitching or muscle cramping definitely look into supplementing with Magnesium. It's been a life saver for me, now on my 4th pregnancy.

Hopefully you see this comment and it is helpful, but see if you can get the US scheduled at a different location that lets a support person come! I know just 45 minutes away from me, they are allowing husbands to come to appointments. My hospital will only let him come to the anatomy scan (which I’m thankful for) I just think it’s crazy they can’t come to every appointment. It’s just as much their baby as ours! I’m pregnant with our first, and my husband was pretty bummed he couldn’t come to the first US or any of the other appointments. I hope things change in the near future! 🤞

Eloise sounds so grown-up with her questions and comments. :)
"We need to buy barbies at the toy store" and "What's a bump shot like?"
    She's so cute!! :)

That’s wild!! I feel like I had the opposite- all of my usual seasonal allergies were SO MUCH better when pregnant than the year before and after 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @reneelyse9770

@@kelleyryanvlogs I mean I can't say for sure that's where these allergies came from, it could have been my body just changing as it can over time. I will say that I tried to eat a peach in my first pregnancy and I broke out in hives all over my face and my throat swelled. Then in my second pregnancy, I tried to eat cherries and apples with the same outcome. After pregnancy, I still have those allergies. It's pretty crazy how different each woman's pregnancy is!

Having a runny nose is actually a common symptom in pregnancy :) Something related to the mucous membrane, changes in the blood can cause it to dry out (something along those lines ). All the fun facts about a pregnant body 😀

I just found out about this channel of yours. I'm so afraid of every stage, also first time coming out to someone but I am especially afraid of not feeling beautiful anymore but fat and ugly. I have been working on my body in fitness for years now. I also have fears about experiencing economic issues which I never had before. And I'm afraid of not having this alone comfort zone anymore. I know I'm so selfish but that's how I feel right now. I always wanted a baby. And I got pregnant all of a sudden, I wasn't prepared mentally even though I got happy first time I found out. I'm trying to find calmness in your videos because I don't wanna lose my baby but even the baby word feels very strange. I don't know what to do. I don't know how I will feel OK. I'm so worried and afraid of the pains. I just wanted to talk to someone. Please pray for me everyone.

Try ask your OBGYN if there is any medicine you can use in pregnancy. In Europe there is some medicament for supporting your veins safe to use in pregnancy (they dont make it dissapear, they just don't go so bad with it). And try lelosi legins. Not specificly maternity but sooo stretchy and comfortable lots of soon to be moms use them.

Not having your husband at the appointments is awful, we had our second daughter in August 2020 and I had to labour alone for four hours in the hospital before my hubby could join me, I hope all is well so you don't have to experience that 💕

I had it in October and we came together but they didn’t get husband in, I was so so sad... wasn’t really prepared for that. Wasn’t very bad, I had video call same time. Hopefully things changing for you, but if not maybe our experience with video call also something you can consider doing
