- Many Golfers complain about bending their arms too much in the backswing. Actually if you focus only on a few things in the backswing, there is no need to loose the tension in your arms. What you need to concentrate on, you will see in this video!
Have fun watching and practicing!

Awesome. The shoulder down and hovering over the ball is a excellent suggestion. Will try the same. Thanks
Let me know how it works for you after trying it out!
Love your videos, full of great tips that will help golfers at all levels.
Thanks a lot! Thats what I am aiming for, to help a large group of Golfers out there! But you know what, me as a Pro have similar issues as many other Golfers, maybe in a different level but I also have to pay attention to so many basic things!
As usual you perfectly explain with great focalisation ,many golf teacher that i know would benefit from your way of teaching, keep on.I play this game for 45 years and i ve rarely seen someone approaching these aspect as simple as you do.
Thank you Michal, appreciate it!
Great information on controlling your swing.
Thank you! Glad I can help!
I enjoy watching your videos a lot! I learn so much from the way you demonstrate the correct moves and the wrong moves! You look so strong. Can you make a video on workouts that are good for golf?
Hi Sylvia, I am glad that you my videos, thank you! About my strength, follow my on Instagram, where I almost daily report about fitness and specifically for Golf exercises
Martina!!!!! Thank you so much!!! I have been struggling with my golf game for a long time. The coaches I have seen have not helped long term. You explain clearly and simply and include the right information good or bad and without a bunch of technical jargon. I also enjoyed your professional career. Thank you so very much!!! #grateful 👏
Thank you so much for your comment! You are very welcome! It makes me really happy to read, I could help you! Keep going!!!
I can't believe how much this video helped me.
Thank you so much.
This is great to hear! So happy being able to help you! Keep going and thanks for the feedback!!!
Great lesson simply explained as usual if your followers do as you say with the forward arm the only thing to get right then is ball position and its difficult to miss but of course you have a video for that as well so thanks again 😁
Thank you Mike! It's a pleasure trying to help you guys!
Hi Martina, I find your golf videos very helpful, you clearly explain each element.
Do you have a video that explains downswing, specifically how to fix an out
To in swing path?
Thanks for the compliment. I guess if you watch all my videos about the swing path etc., you will get an idea for you! Just let me know if there is something! But finally its mostly about your hip- and shouldermovement!
Thank you
Hope it helps your game!
Your a great teacher. Thanks!!!
Thank you very much!
Just outstanding coach...really impressive
Thank you Lawrence! Let me know if you can get some ideas in your swing!
😊👍 thanks martina,
You are welcome William!
Hi Martina, I really like your videos, you explain in a way that makes me understand 😍. If possible, could you make a video how to start the downswing? What are your thoughts? I really struggle, I tend to loose my wrist hinge on the way down. Thanks again!
Hi Helen, thanks a lot! If you continue watching some videos, there are a few advices already how to start the downswing. It starts from below up! Even the indoorvideo about the four positions in your Golfswing might help you!!!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en thank you, I will watch all of your videos! ❤
Thank you again for your wonderful swing tip. Sometimes I rush my downswing from a decent back swing position. Even though I count to maintain a good tempo, rushing into the downswing happens. What is your opinion on pausing at the top before the downswing? Thanks.
I am glad you like my videos. Please watch my video about the Rhythm. There I'm talking about finishing the backswing!! Too much of a pause I don't think its helpful. But if its just a mental pause, its fine!
Hi Martina! Love you videos. Question for you. On your downswing. Do you feel your right elbow squeeze into your side and then extend down target line after impact? I’m in vegas and talk to a few pros on tour and we discuss this as one of the “feels” to have. Like to get your thoughts on it
It certainly could be a thought for Golfers. It's not mine. I think you have to be careful that your low point is not falling back with this thought and you start duffing every ball. But I guess it could work!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en thanks!
I only have this issue with my driver, not any other club. I’m a short woman and it is a long club… could that be why?
Well I guess its because you believe that as a short woman you have to swing it long. But I am also only 1,64 m small. You have to build up tension in your backswing, otherwise you will never get a lot of speed. The problem of swinging it back a long way, mostly you have to get many corrections and compensations done while you are swinging the club down and there you loose speed!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en Ah ok I wasn’t sure about the driver vs irons for example but what you say makes sense! Thank you I’ll pay more attention to this.
I have noticed many LPGA players have make-up on their left shoulder.
