The new Five Nights at Freddy’s DLC, Ruin, has only been out for a week, but my team and I have hunkered down ever since to try and solve everything we can, not just about Ruin, but Security Breach and the history of the Mega Pizzaplex as well! We even solve the entire New FNaF Mimic Timeline and all lore surrounding it! Are we right?

the mimic feels super retcon-y and i'm not the biggest fan of it, i was really hoping we'd get a new antagonist with different motivations to william but having stumbled into the same conclusion
Honestly the Mimic has been hinted at ever since Help Wanted (Matpat even predicted it in one of his earlier modern FNAF theories), but the main villain in this new timeline will most likely be the Fazbear CEO, whoever they are
@@finixmoon127 I hope so, cuz idk, i've been a fan of this series since i was 10, i'm 19 now, and to me personally it doesn't *feel* fnaf and i know thats probably just my fandom boomer take but something about it just doesn't click for me in the universe
@@siennaistrans Your sentiment is shared by many other OG fans of the franchise, which is completely understandable considering how much it has evolved over the years. The transition from horror to more sci-fi, the convoluted and seemingly unnecessary lore after FNAF 6… Right now things are a little messy, but with Ruin being pretty decent, I’m hopeful that Help Wanted 2 might be a huge win for FNAF
That's just not true.
First of all, the Tales books, where the Mimic is the main antagonist, have been written since 2019. Not only that, but there's also a ton of hints towards the Mimic's existence in SB.
He is not a retcon.
Second of all- he is a new antagonist? He's not just Purple Guy 2.0, he simply copied him at the start of HW as Glitchtrap, but Ruin & Tales show that he mimics plenty of people, so he's not gonna be focused on mimicking Purple Guy or Springtrap in the future.

What if fnaf 1-6 was not real and Fazbear entertainment made this story hide the real truth (there was no any robots possessed by ghosts, but only a rogue ai that like to torture humans)

No, they did happen due to us seeing the remnants of 1-6 within help wanted/security breach, which wouldn't be true if they weren't factual. If you even listened to the tapes from tape girl, she says that the games are to cover up the actual things by saying they are fake. If someone says "Remember the murders at freddy's?", then they can say "Oh, you just mean from the video games made by some rouge indie game developer!" and thus no one is the wiser. LITTERALLY PIZZAREIA SIMULATOR IS SEEN IN SECURITY BREACH MEANING IT HAPPENED.
Man that would be a surefire way to piss off and alienate long time fans lol

I just dont like this new mimic idea. Here's my main issue, especially if you say glitchtrap is just the mimic, then any and all animatronics could be the mimic. So why not all of them? Since the mimic has been shown to not distinguish between humans and human-like things, clearly its more than possible Phone Guy wasnt even lying, and the fnaf 1 animatronics literally do just think youre a naked endo in need of a suit.
Now you dont have any need for possessed animatronics and can effectively retcon that and anything to do with remnant. After all they can both explain the same thing - strange behavior in animatronics.
You might say that's hard to say for the sister location animatronics, but the mimic can mimic voices, almost perfectly if glitchtrap is a mimic, right? And what is a feature those animatronics have? Voice mimicing. Its right in the blueprints. Even they could be non-possessed mimic AIs.
Not to mention it feels like the *entire storyline* is not based on the books, not the games. Which feels wrong.
And if that's the case, then William Afton would have no reason to want to research remnant or the afterlife

what if the fnaf games werent real but just retellings with alterances of the stpry. the fact that maybe william afton did kidnap the 5 kids but nothing else ever really happened and the pizza place burned down for a seperate reason, and the molten animatronics meshed into the blob.
Things I think would be cool for fnaf.
1. A fnaf 2d animated series for adults/young adults/teens.
2. A graphic novel version of tales from the pizzaplex.
3. A fnaf webcomic with significant lore.
4. A new fnaf guide book or survival logbook or perhaps a timeline book.
5. A fnaf game about ghost hunters and paranormal investigators.
6. A fnaf game about the stictchwraith and the fazbear frights stories.
7. A fnaf game about Henry Emily or Mrs Afton and their whereabouts.
8. A fnaf game about the rival businesses of fazbear entertainment over the years.
9. A fnaf reboot of all the past games to add new things and make any wanted changes.
10. Warning: this idea is personally my favorite buttons people will probably disagree. A fnaf game about a kid trapped in a new location that’s set in a newly built version of fazbear frights called the horrorplex (bigger/better/scarier), and the star attraction is none other than William afton himself in a new trap variant, but instead of being a threat (whether by choice or perhaps memory loss) decides to help us and try and take down fazbear entertainment llc.

Good question! It would seem that William Afton’s story is finally truly over. SteelWool seems to be taking their own direction with the Mimic being the new main antagonist, and William remains dead and his story complete

I don't think Glitchtrap's origins have been confirmed.
While it isn’t 100% confirmed, there is a lot of evidence pointing to GlitchTrap being a version of the Mimic that we discussed in our previous theories

Sure! Is this for the Burntrap ending of Security Breach that you are stuck, or the concept of GlitchTrap?
@RemGames who Glitchtrap and burntrap even is anymore. It is impossible to tell at this point without just getting straight up told.
@@sussybaka3878 while we are never specifically told that GlitchTrap is the Mimic, there is a lot of evidence suggesting it. It also seems that SteelWool is going in the direction of the Mimic being the new main antagonist rather than William Afton, which makes it even more likely that GlitchTrap is a variant of the Mimic.
For Burntrap, it gets much more complicated. There are theories suggesting it’s the Mimic (which is impossible), some people believe that it’s Springtrap (also extremely unlikely), but now there’s a new theory that it is caused by Hallucinogenic gas. This gas was referenced in the B7-2 story, Dittophobia (meaning the fear of repetition), that hallucinogenic gas now plays a part in Five Nights at Freddy’s to some extent. Burntrap just being a hallucination seems to be the most likely theory so far, but I still don’t like it because there’s not much evidence. All in all, because the Burntrap ending isn’t canon, it’s not really a top priority to solve, so we can wait until SteelWool decides it’s time to tell us what that ending meant.

As much as I love ruin the base game was still bit of a let down for me that i just started writing my own version just to try and satisfy myself (it’s not a comic or anything I just write it for fun).

I like this video but I'm a little confused about the time placements of these events within this Timeline🤨😊Idk I don't read the books
Still i believe that Glitctrap is a combo of mimic 1 and the half of Afton with his other half still trapped in ultimate custom night or else he wouldn't be that smart to manipulate Vanessa. Also although the Aftkn ending isn't canon we still see the blob in ruin so this means the mimic and burntrap are different characters with burntrap also including Afton

I just wanna saw a few things, so first I actually believe alot of this but there are two key points that bother me and the first is that the black rabbit isnt mxes its an anomaly all it wants to do in ruin is to kill you mxes is just the big purple box this I can basically confirm the games tell us this. This one is a little lose but I think that glitchtrap is actually afton and same with burntrap but burntrap is just afton put on a mimic or the mimic01 endoskeleton

Everything is really great, but you got the ending wrong. The elevator ending is Canon. If you remember the place where they show off help Wanted 2, you can see ceiling of the elevator and the Mimic arm.

No prove, no anything that helps the confused people understand much... like, where is the prove of who is when due to why influenced by who and how and why several people do what? The mimic feels just like such a fat retcon the way it is used in this "timeline". Just a means to fit stuff to make sense. Shoved in after all the facts. And nothing at all explained. Maybe at least, as you have your other videos, crosslink them? Add in which video would explain them, and where? As wow each time your average non deep lore viewer looks into the videos it seems like stuff has changed since last time, and last time also was months back.
