Casual Crono's Another Eden Megalomorph Guilty Hades Build

  • So I found a general strategy that seems to do well against most Megalomorphs. The Torso decreases the enemy's power/int and cleanses, the arms self-buff and attack, and the head provides reactive healing and mana regen. For a while, my Guilty Hades was stuck around level 40-50 area, and finally I was able to blast through (no pun intended) a bunch of Megalomorphs using this pattern.
    The vengeful healing equipment is from the Megaloserpent Featherex in the Arkiris Plains. The other three come naturally through the story.
    In this video, I discuss a bit about my setup and skills, and proceed to defeat three Megalomorphs in Abominius using the strategy mentioned above. The main things I found were:
    1. If an enemy buffs themselves, remove it immediately. When you aren't doing that, keep it's power/int reduced. In many fights, you'll basically alternate between the two skills, since Quake doesn't become a 3-turn ability until after a few upgrades.
    2. Try to survive however you can until you can defeat Featherex. You may need to spend turns using the head's repair ability to restore mana. Once you have vengeful healer, your mana issues disappear.
    3. I tended to upgrade the head and torso first, followed by the arms. With the arms, I would boost one 10 levels (for new skills) instead of keeping them even. A level 50 and a level 40 arm is more useful than two level 45 arms, for example.
    As always, I do not claim my way is the "best" or "correct" way to do it. It worked for me. That's all I know. So when things work for me, I like to share them with you. I have not beaten all of the Megalomorphs as of this video (two to go) so they may require a different strategy, but this should help anyone struggling to figure out all the Gundam stuff. :) Good luck!

    I'm at what I believe is the final boss of this story section and after getting my tin can kicked, a set-up guide is appreciated. About the order to fight the megalomorphs: I felt it worked up until fighting Deus Ala. That thing kept beating me, so I went out and beat the Genoscorpio, got the level 80 and max upgraded a couple of things. I'll now try taking it on again and see if I have better luck.

    I just finished chapter 101 yesterday, so I'm not ready to watch this yet, but I'm sure it's gonna be useful, hopefully soon!
    Thanks for sharing!

      The first few bosses weren't too bad. I got stuck when my Guilty Hades was level 40/50; I didn't seem to be able to beat any of them. There didn't seem to be much info available yet on these fights, so once I found a pattern that (generally) worked, I figured I'd share. I hope it helps when you get to this point!

    Hey Crono, may I ask, if the beginning around chapter 101 where there's only 3 mobs I can kill, I can only farm this 3 mobs until I can upgrade my GuiltyH? Hahah or is there other ways to farm upgrades!

      It's a bit of a pain to level up Guilty Hades. The recommended order is to follow the list in the Kormeer Workshop, which I linked for ya below. You might have access to a few more depending on how far along you are. For growth cores, most drop from other megalomorphs, but you can find some via salvaging, chests, and merchants. I'd focus only on a few pieces of equipment instead of trying to level up everything. Good luck!

      @@jonjonjonny1636 Good luck! Getting started with that was annoying since there's no simple way to level up.

    I just unlocked the labyrinth of Thanatos but i dont know how to farm with Guilty Hades. I only unlocked arkiris plains and lab. of Thanatos, but without any enemies for hades..? I can see only one enemy at arkiris plains but can‘t reach it (theres a question mark in front of it and i can‘t pass through). Maybe i‘ve missed something?

      Might be some other fights you're missing, perhaps? Check the wiki and see if there are some other fights you may have access to. The recommended order to kill things is in the second link:

    Also, how do I find the "Rare energon seeds" needed to level up the equipment to Lv 4?

    • @casualcronolv99
      @casualcronolv99  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Some of the Megalomorphs in Abominus drop them. You'll notice I got 3 at the end of my video when I killed the big plant, at the 31:05 mark. The seeds only seem to drop the first time you kill one, though. I upgraded the four parts I use all the time beginning with the torso and head and have 12 sitting around in case I decide I want to upgrade a few other items.

    Thanks. Kinda annoying you can't just grind for guilty hades and if you simply fight in the overworld you sometimes get stomped hard.

    • @casualcronolv99
      @casualcronolv99  Před 9 měsíci

      It is, there wasn't a particularly smooth way to level up Guilty Hades. I got stomped hard a lot of times trying bosses I probably should not have been trying. It would be nice if there had been a few more lower-level fights to help ease the levelling process.

  • @AashrayPaul97

    How did you get to level 80? I have been stuck at level 60 and as a consequence can't fight any of the monsters in Abominus

    • @casualcronolv99
      @casualcronolv99  Před 9 měsíci

      It just happened to me after beating one. At first I thought maybe you had to defeat a specific one, but the wiki says that you automatically level to 80 once you beat 12 megalomorphs, so I guess it could be any of them. Double-check the list at Kormeer's workshop, maybe you skipped one somewhere?

      just keep farming the other ones you can beat like 12 times you'll get a notification saying you can upgrade to level 80

    How do you get points to level up

    • @casualcronolv99
      @casualcronolv99  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You have to kill a certain number of Megalomorphs. I think it's 12 to get to level 80.
