Amazing video
HE’S BACK
Glad you're back :D! Editing is a long process... and it was so worth it! this video is W.
Cool video!
Missed you too!
This could possibly make sense
Moreover the end credits of the game after exiting the end clearly states to you to wake up and after that you respawn in your bed implying that the game is some sort of metaphor of a dream
But maybe Steve's still in a dream, and someone was trying to wake Steve up, but failed. Maybe that someone was girlfriend or even a wife, and she was trying to wake Steve up because he was about to die from being in coma so long. What if he dead, and we're still living in the dream.
This is probably my favorite theory
Hi here a tip i read the credits and the last words is... you are the player wake up its not fake and is also a hint for him
Him is kunai
OH-
But what if you never get to *The End?*
Will that mean that you're stuck in your bed, dreaming and doing nothing… forever?
Maybe the cave sounds are the people trying to wake up Steve
Also i went more into this theory and watched the entire end credits. And at the of the end credits it says... "Wake up"
Theory confirmed by me tbh
Yeah it says wake up at end of credits
I'm surprised you didn't talk about the End Poem which literally says "Wake up."
true its like 10 minutes long of 2 god like beings talking and then saying to you wake up and where does the music that randomly plays come from?
That part of the poem is out of context. In the peon it refer to waking up in a non literal manner. Its likely referring to when they referred to life and minecraft as dreams
Ah, the classic dream theory
Yep
Its not classic
@@Blacky_OfPower It means that it gets used a lot
The Minecraft books confirm some of these ideas, there is one about a girl in a coma who is teleported into Minecraft. There is another where it is implied a man was thrown off a boat into the water then spawns in the water in Minecraft with no memories. They are called Minecraft the island and Minecraft the crash
I'll take a look! Thanks for taking the time to comment! Hope to see you in future comment sections! :)
Np I think I will stick around
This is actually a lot scarier than I thought it could be. Am I the only one who thinks this is really scary?
Getting in an accident and forever reliving your life in a dream state
@@DiverseCuriosities actually just in general tbh
now I know to avoid trying to lucid dream for this theory could pop up and ruin everything.
No
this has been my darkest fear for a while now, fake people, lonely, no actual life, just sad.
That's what I like about Minecraft since when I build something that amazes me it feels like a dream. I like your theory, Kunai - I strongly believe the Nether is a place for the nightmares. How would someone like the sound of the Ghat & constantly provides us ghost bumps, scream & run just like a creeper from the overworld, for me the Ghast it's a bigger creeper, but with a horrible sound + explosion
The Ghast SFX comes from a cat, somehow. Just saying.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SO LONG MY MAN 😢
Agreed man 😢

Hi Kunai, one thing you didn’t mention (I think) is that when you beat the game and go through the portal is what it says, most people skip it but it might give you clues, here is a few this that it said which have the word “dream” in it, or gives you clues, one thing says, “what did this player dream?” Another thing said, “in a long dream” Something else said, “Too strong for this dream.” It also said, “Sometimes the player dreamed it was watching words on a screen.” Maybe that means that they are dreaming that they beat “the game.” But the biggest clue is at the end, the biggest clue says, “Wake up”
I love how it's still exactly 8 minutes long like in each video
8 minutes = how long light year can travel
@@Whitee303 wdym light can travel 1 light year in 1 year
@@Whitee303 You mean how fast can light reach us from the sun?
Because a video needs to be minimum 8 minutes to have ads (allegedly)
I actually made this theory a lot before anyone made a video about it (but didnt go into as much detail)!
To further support (y)our idea, whenever you die, you wake up in your bed like nothing ever happened (was it a dream?)
The minecart theory is also a really great connection!
I think golden apples and enchanted golden apples may have to do with the dream part (they fit in the end quite well), try looking into that!
this theory has literally been around since they added cave sounds, i.e. 2010.
@@non-Riemannian a lot before anyone made a video about it*
@@attackehh fair enough
I remember one feature in minecraft where if you look through the endermen's eyes or point of view endstone looks exactly like cobblestone
Yeah, because enderman vision is inverted
For that matter, the sound that plays at 5:57 could be a warped, massively slowed-down heart-monitor beep sound.
Also...I am a lucid-dreamer (some of which are actually set IN Minecraft, ironically...or at least partially), and it can be quite fun...if the dream cooperates. I often find myself fighting for control over what is happening, which can be annoying. But when it does cooperate, it IS really fun!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the end poem
With this theory I can now look at the game in a whole other way and actually have fun playing the game again. Thank you so much
Hey, new viewer here. Saw you in my recommendeds and had to take a look. Very impressed with your writing, editing and thinking. Earned a subscribe from me
Welcome aboard!
You have dull dreams? HOW?!
I dreamed the other night that i was in my childhood summercamp and every staff member was made of re-stitched body parts, much like Frankenstein's monster, and i had to hide them from the government agents who were trying to capture them for testing.
There was also a talking porcupine involved.
He betrayed us.
Anyways, great video man 👏👏
Think about it every time you die you respawn right next to ur bed over and over again
Huh... I been thinking about this. And even the game says that the player would "dream of worlds". It would explain why 9 diamonds could be turned into a 1x1x1 meter solid block, when the overall amount of diamonds would not be anywhere near that size separately. You make 3 diamond pickaxes, and it will be less than 13rd the overall size. While still being the said 9 diamonds needed to make the block.
It explains why you could be able to carry hundreds of blocks of diamond or gold with ease.
the nether is a lucid nightmare with steve looking into something he does not know what is inside of it he is thinking about the worse case
Another thing that could imply a minecart accident is the abandoned mineshafts, they're all destroyed as if they were a metaphor to the mineshaft being destroyed
I got something to build of this theory: Steve is being controlled by extra terrestrial life with telekinesis. I also have evidence: when you beat the ender dragon and the end card thing start's to roll it mentions that you have to wake up (implying that the creature is controlling his dreams) and it also mentions something along the lines of: It has mind control powers now.
According to the Credits, it is. In fact it's the only Minecraft lore. It quite literally calls the game a short dream.
Really interesting theory! I, myself have been cooking my own theory on the end and how it's an artificial Dimension created only when the End portal was opened, and the theory it's self makes Minecraft being a video game canon lore wise! your video inspired me to maybe make a video on my theory someday!
There is something that you forgot to say: if you are in the end and jump in the portal to go back to the overworld you get some boring text. But at the end of the story there’s standing: wake up
The two official Minecraft novels by The Island and The Mountain hint towards the player being trapped in some sort of simulation.
The ones specifically by Max Brooks, I believe.
The end credits also make it seem like a dream
A bit of a stretch, but let's say Steve is in a coma. I feel like the nether is his subconscious fear of death?
I personally believe in the ancient builder theory, but I really like the points you made, and I also like all the spooky/creepypasta vids you make
I think the nether might represent something he hated going through but still had to to do something. (sacrfices, you know)
The overworld is a dream where steve sees things/reflections of stuff he normally sees and maybe the nether is a nightmare but I don’t know about the end a dream in a dream which is why it’s so weird or something idk
I've seen that thumbnail approved so much from the previous ones . You really go all out on this vid
Theory: As soon as you spawn in, the monsters are trying to protect their world from you, because they aren't the ones chopping down trees or killing animals to survive, they chill out in caves until you find em and kill em.
Edit: Also Minecraft is a dream. If you end the game after killing the ender dragon and it has all those credits, at the very end it says: WAKE UP!
Cave sounds are ppl that are trying to wake you up
Interesting
steve, in the overworld is relieving his memories, steve in the nether is near death in real life, and the end resembles his hopes of waking up and he slowly tries to progress through all of it fighting his fears (monsters).
"Wake up"
-minecraft end credits
Theory: in the last sentence in the "END Poem" where the 2 persons talking was telling Steve: "Wake Up"
And that the reason of multi players is because he’s alone in an a coma reliving his past experiences before his death, it would explain the (I forgot the name) descriptions at the end when we beet the game like his time has been up and it was time for him die
Yoooo a new video
let's goooo, a good vid like usual!
Keep going mate
Welcome back man! We missed you!
Also, congrats on 120K!
Thank you so much :)
You’re welcome! Your content is really awesome! I appreciate how much work you put into your videos!
Yo Kunai i was thinking because other people speculate that he is a robot being able to carry like shulker boxes full of shulker boxes full of blocks of netherite and being able to eat a chicken in like 1 second i think it adds up to this theory because in lucid dreams you can kinda control your powers and this is the answer to why he so strong i think
u can be strong in lucid dreams, as in lucid dreams u can make yourself however u want
meaning u can also make ur self strong
If you ever actually read the end credits it talks about things similar to dreams and it even tells you to wake up, but what if you waking up in ‘Your House’ or ‘Spawn’ just your character failing to come back to their senses and once again getting stuck in the dream realm, but I feel like there’s more like you mentioned the Overworld represents your memories, and the End represents a dream inside of a dream, but what if the Nether represents your perspective of reality, and all the mobs represent a conflict, with blazes being part of a ‘key’ to a better place aka the end because by combining Blaze Rods and Ender Pearls you get the Eye of Ender, which when put into a frame will take you to your ‘Dreamed Reality’ where you can be safe from both the memories and your expectations of reality, which comes back to the end credits, because after getting to your dream realm whenever you leave you believe your finally gonna awaken and regain consciousness, but like mentioned before this ends up failing and just returns you to the false reality aka the Overworld.
What if the nether represents the pain [Steve's] body is going through while he's in the coma after the accident theorized in the video? Massive pain can feel like hell, after all (speaking from recent experience)
Your editing is so good! And congrats on the 120k subs!
🎉
Can you please make a second one that expands on this theory? I really like the idea and i am now curious about the rest.
I am not a bot but honestly made a theory which states the true lore of minecraft with lots of proof but I don't want to tell it a comment but instead want to make a video so if you would love to watch do tell me
What if Steve's parents were the ones talking in the end credits? They would try to wake him up to the real world, but Steve can only wake up in the Overworld, leaving him trapped forever.
Pretty good theory! The moment I saw this video I immediately thought: “Minecraft: The Island”
Thanks for stopping by and giving this video a chance!
@@Kunai7 Anytime! I subbed! You have a very bright future!
For nether, i think steve is potraying how his overall life has been, filled with everyone trying to kill him
i got the anwsers for the nether and stuff, steve does not know what death really is so the nether would be a nightmare because he was trying to figure out what death is, this makes sense because if you really see the nether aspects , like mobs, dangers, sounds, blocks. its all a distorted overworld, that also explains why you can't sleep in the nether, because its a nightmare . every nightmare ends with you waking up scared/shocked or with any big emotion change. (ik there are some things that are somehow wrong but its an awnser that makes sense)
Well, you still get items from the End (e.g. the Elytra) and they're clearly still in your inventory when you return to the overwork, so how can you have an item you obtained in a dream in real life?
I remember making a recourse pack where i turned cave sounds into memes because they we're scary.
So i turned Steve's terrible memory into a memory of him watching/hearing memes xD
What about hardcore mode!? Maybe when you can’t respawn and the world get deleted that means Steve has woken up!
Its cool that you made whole new way of finding the lore minecraft
I have a theory.
Creative Mode = Lucid Dream
Survival Mode = Non-lucid
Dream
This is the newest theory i have ever seen
I have never seen this on any other youtubers channel
This theory is so cool!
Keep up the good work 👍
4k is also a really nice touch :)
Thank you for noticing hehe! I've been working on my end to improve the videos on all elements :D
@@Kunai7hello kunai i have a question when is ur birthday idk why i asked this question
possibly the nether could be the fear of hell
This makes sense cause in the end credits at the end they say "wake up" and the mine cart accident seems real
I've been waiting the whole video for you to mention the damn End Poem!
haha it felt too easy of a reason!
I thought it meant that Minecraft is actually just a collective dream (or only your own if you want to the main character) and some day we will wake up with no Minecraft to play
Yay! You finally uploaded, time to watch this with my snacks! 💗
hope you enjoyed your snacks!
@@Kunai7 i enjoyed it more when I watched the vid! 🧡
hello there!! always glad to explore CZcams and find great creators like you, I have subscribed to you and hope to see you get to 1mil :)
to me, Steve dreams about how he got his house and items. Also, at the end of the end text, it says,
"WAKE UP!"
The minecraft island and mountain books tell a story of a character that just woke up in the strange world of Minecraft. He doesn't remember his name and most of who he his.
have you ever thought the nether is his brain trying to wake him up by reminding him what death is like its a memory he can't tell him about, like he has trauma from it he does not know about it but his body does and its try to remind him bye showing him what death is but it does not seem to work.
this is so much more illaberate then the anchient builders theory
theory : maybe the nether is just steve's health condition, have you thaught about that?
I remembered this movie trailer or something about someone being trapped in a dream because they like died or something and they had to get through the whole day without dieing in order to continue time, there were monsters or something I guess I dunno
Steve is an ancient builder, who arrived in comma in a minecart accident. He crashed in his dreams, of a blocky world with past lore… where his species ended.
Nice video it’s really well edited hope you get to 1M some day
If we combine every single theory, we might be able to unlock the game's lore. For example, this theory might only fit a quarter of the game. It could possibly be a story of a HUMAN player who was trapped in the game. It was stated in the End Credits that the player views the two conversing beings's thoughts as if it were a game so it could possibly be true.
Woah bro ....... I've never played Minecraft, but my interest is piqued cuz of this video! It's so good man. Well done!
The "end speech" flat out says "the short dream of the game"
What about Hardcore mode in Minecraft? If you die - you don't respawn. When i have nightmares or just some high experience in my dreams - i simply wake up. Not because i want to.
Doed it mean that when Steve died in Hardcore mode, he just wakes up from his nightmare? Nightmare because of the death of Steve.
honestly, this theory is even better for Flood Escape Two on Roblox. “Familiar Ruins” and “Marred Dreams” (1st one by the creator in what i think is a timeline, 2nd one just an added map that is a clue) really stick out to me.
IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF THIS EXACT IDEA FOR SO LONG
Ever think about when you die you respawn at your bed?...does that mean your in a continuous cycle of dreaming?...
The neather is distorted memories
nether is when he wakes up because living is hell
“It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren’t being tortured. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.”
Bro is about to put MatPat out of a job.
phantoms don't spawn in the nether and you also can't sleep there
Love your videos man you deserve 1 million👍
Another thing is that if you read all the story after you defeat the ended dragon that last words are “ wake up” and the you wake up in your Minecraft bed. IDK it’s just a theory but great video
What about servers if they're being controlled by _____ then does that mean we're stuck with them if so how did the other players get stuck in here as well?
when you beat the game and jump in the portal the last line of the story is wake up
holy thats so fricking good. Ur gonna get 1 million for sure.
The nether fuels his anger and your dreams are a place where your never agry. Sometimes
you also can't forget the books for that also point towards the same thing.
I think that nether as his mind as parts of the nether have holes and the nether wastes look like his brain
Editing god!
I saw this on a post once, what if the farlands is like alzheimer's? the more you keep going out into the farlands, the amount of details go down, until eventually, it just all dissapears.
Oh yeah and some on the cave noises are called plane flying over so what if yeah you’re dream or in a coma and reality is kind of creeping through and you can hear things from real life
Guys at the end when you beat the ender dragon you jump into the portal right usally we dont read the passage at the end of the game but if you keep reading you will find some weird poem like sentence and at the end of the passage it says wake up
At the end of the credits after beating the ender dragon it says wake up
There’s a text at the bottom of a text that you usually don’t read at the end. When you beat the ender dragon, it says wake up.
The Weirdest Minecraft Theory I've Ever Watched Yea Still A Cool Video You Made :)
I mean it makes sense that it’s a dream because it says in the credits that you need to wake up. Honestly I’m surprised you hadn’t had this theory yet.
It's been like a year now my man😢 we miss you
The nether could be the afterlife aka the reality, where he needs to give part of his soul to respond there and when he doesn’t do it he dreams again until he goes back to reality, the after life
That very strange and kinda unsettling
So if we are always sleeping…
How do we wake up and see the real world?
