one of the defining parts of TF2 is the silhouettes and obvious changes that equipped weapons bring to the aesthetics of the class on equip, this game completely removes all of that and on top of that, TF2 is already free
Speaking as a Flanker main, the main reason the BFB isn't really used that much is mainly due to it being map-dependant. On a place like Harvest with wide open areas and little places for Mechanics to roam, the BFB is a really fun weapon. However, it suffers way more on chokier maps like Badwater, as your boost can get deleted instantly from a flurry of rockets, pipes, and fire. People would rather have the consistancy of the Lever Shotgun instead of a somewhat useful upside that will be taken away if you look into a chokepoint once. Very fun weapon, though, definitely better than TF2's version. Hell, while we're at it, I'll suggest some underrated weapons that I find are really good. Bloxy Cola: Really underrated secondary, most Flankers I see using it just try and get past a sentry, then being hit by slowdown and get killed instantly by the 5 ppl chasing him. It has way more use cases that just brute forcing a choke; acting as a get-out-of jail free card for unfavorable 1v1's, a free ticket to the enemy's backline, and being able to effectively disable a sentry for 8 whole seconds so long as it's aiming towards you, all in one package. Quickiebomb Launcher: A more skillful sidegrade compared to the regular Stickybomb Launcher (and especially the Irish Guard) that trades initial damage and half your clip for a faster charge, making the weapon excel in close range and is downright FILTHY at long range. You can snipe people from across the map with this thing, and crits with this turn you into an artillery cannon. Quick Draw: Take the 2 picks for 1 life bullshit weapon design of the Diamondback in TF2 and make it actually fair, that's this thing. It pairs incredibly well with the Swift Stiletto and Kunai, and even works really well on Gun Spy. So many people are chained to the Ambassador and Cloak Revolver that they don't realize the hidden potential of this weapon.

And also in bosses, it helps me to build nests in hard-to-reach places where there are no ammo boxes If niches weapons I use: Double trouble: yes, this weapon bad, but permanent damage from two missiles, wiping out mechanics and other light and not very light classes, is worth it (unless there is a medic in the enemy team G-bomb - attention, weapon for roast mechanics. Or for memes and big rocket jumps Friendly Fire Foiler-yes, its garbage , but sometimes we needs another style of gameplay on class, and we return and return to this weapon again. (But devs, please rework this weapon) Bonnie Blaster- sometimes we prefer revolver than shotgun. And I like deal damage at mid range ( devs pls make little buff this) Soda popper- they nerf weapon, which was not popular .At least, I adore weapons with builds charge and firing speed of weapon. Specialist- this weapon is my belived, yes, its not good,but on flanker I still prefer protracted battles, and this weapon have bigger clip and ammo capacity, but less damage :). So, waits when mechanics (only he in sentry nest) is leave place or ( may moving sentry or dispenser for his own new sentry nest) collect metal, sometimes for fight. And sap them all. And TF2 version don't have accuracy bonus (For this weapon accuracy important stat) and have -34% clip size. Yes, Tf2 version don't have -30% damage, but when weapons are can't do their purpose = awful weapons
