Sleeping with a watch is uncomfortable

I can’t even tell I’m wearing my series 9 Apple Watch.

I LOVE my Oura ring. I don't like charging something once a day and I travel for a living, so the choice is obvious. Thank you for this great informational video! I enjoyed it!

Good video. I'm mainly interested in something like the Oura Ring because I want something that records my activity that is also non-intrusive. I also would prefer to not wear a smartwatch. I much prefer normal watches. I don't like having a smudgy screen as a watch.

Great comparison. I don’t own either device currently, but was curious given that I am shown Oura ring ads quite frequently.

The issue with Apple is the app.
The watch itself actually gathers plenty of info BUT apples health app does not make use of it

This has since changed as I believe the Ouro ring updates now track heart rate all day

The trainer said using these together was a good combination. It would be interesting to see how they can be used together.

There is a youtube channel testing these devices scientifically. And when it comes to sleep, apple watch is the most accurate one

Great video, I have a Apple Watch and I’ve always wondered whether I should get a oura ring. This answers a lot of my questions, so thanks for doing it.

I’m curious do people not FEEL if they are ready for a workout or not based on their sleep/day?

I never use the Apple Watch sleep tracing! The app pillow, REM, sleep watch and Sleep cycle. Some of Those rate my sleep score!

Kate, I own both. I use my Apple Watch Ultra During the day for fitness tracking and my Ōura Ring almost exclusively at night for sleep tracking. I have never worn my Apple Watch to bed so my wrist temperature feature hasn’t been calibrated. For me having both devices covers most of my health tracing needs. One thing though I wish the Apple Watch fitness app had a “Rest Mode” I think that would be a great addition to the app.

I intend to the same but how do bring together the data? You‘ve got the Oura App and Apple Health..

I just need to know if the Oura ring accurately counts the calories burned in a day and during workouts

And if you really want a ring ... the Ringconn and Ultrahuman ring do the same as the Oura but without subscription !!

I’m a good sleeper, not spending $300 for a ring to tell me. If I need the occasional reassurance, I’ll sleep with my AW

You don't compare a ship and a submarine for the same purpose, this comparison is like that.

Do people really care about knowing this kind of stuff? I imagine it can create a huge amount of anxiety over non-existent health issues.

The Oura ring is uncomfortable, expensive, and feels cheaply made, despite the titanium exterior.
