I was interested in one of these so looked on CZcams and found this.
I'm over 70 and if I've got to lift the deck to sharpen the blades it's NOT on my shopping list anymore.
Kubota can do better, l want a hydrologic deck tilt.
Thanks for posting. I've been trying to learn more about the F2690 thinking it may be a good unit. Watching it mow with the deck pitching back and forth doesn't look like it has quite got it though
So if you want an A/C cab you have to go with the John Deere.😂
Differential lock is in the front axle, not the rear
Nope I went with a John Deere because I hate that goddamn treadle pedal. Most uncomfortable control I ever used. John Deeres side by side two pedal hydro is so comfortable. Heel of your foot never moves you simply pivot your foot left or right. We put a mulch kit on our F1145 and a Curtis hard cab with easily removable doors and back window for summer. You can mow in the rain and this finished product looks like you mowed on a sunny day. No clumps nothing. Will climb a hill that will have you lying on your back no problem. Leaves simply disappear with the mulch kit. And winter plowing is unbelievable with turf tires. We love them.
Can you raise the deck some and mow taller grass ?

72" deck has worked fine on the F2690, would be better on the F3990 but lets not go there
They are basically a tractor flipped around so the back is now the front.
Can you add a mulch kit to this mower?
Yes. We use these at my job and install mulching kits in the fall.
what about a snow blade?
Hi i'am interested with the machine. but i have two questions. My first question is to know if we can purchase only the front mower? My second question is to know if it can be connected to a other tractor,
yes to just a front mower, no to attaching it to another tractor

2 to 3 acres per hour.

OMG i just bought an f3990 at auction, TO USE FOR SNOWREMOVAL :( well when the ish hits the fan, at least i'll be a little more prepared for it. FML.
I had a 3990 for one season and needed to trade it in for a 2690. DPF/Regen issues on every startup.

more then likely you will end up with a lemon, the F3990 will most likely have emission warranty but be prepared for some down time

I love this mower. I have a question. I’m looking at buying a 1998 F2560 w/ 600 hours on it. It looks awesome.. if it’s working perfectly what’s the most money I should pay? I love the mower.
