will never own anything Diesel because of the fuel prices.
depending on the setup if you move the weight too far back even over the axles you will get a tail wagging the dog scenario when doing down the road so it's not a set in stone thing to just move it back. It's going to depend on the trailer and load.
Thanks for the info 😊
Thanks for the info
great work
Easy to get to maintenance, lol, with that big radiator in the way, what are you smoking
Dumbotater2158 you know it's for youtube minutes, Ur just trying to be nice.
Was that mph?
Great video. In terms of angle, is the beaver tail the same, flatter, or steeper than the tilt?
I don't recommend a Kubota Sidekick, I have owned one for 3 years now, bought it new. Check the online manual error codes...almost every one says "take it to a dealer". Like I have nothing better to do than pack this up, travel to a dealer and unload it, travel back to get it and then pay a ridiculous labor and parts bill. I have an reoccurring error 36 , speed sensor. Take it to dealer it says the manual and can find nothing on what action I can take. BTW it seems to run ok with the error.
You have a great series of videos about these trailers. It makes me want to drive the extra 5 hours to purchase from you vs locally. I am wondering about sizing these units for our summer toys too, like what config works best for 1 side by side and 1 atv.
Glad you like them! Brentley is working on making some side by side / enclosed trailer videos, should be available on the channel towards the end of August
I like the gray, but the orange is still easier to find in the woods.
having colour selection is nice to have
Looks like the single axle couldve been loaded with the machine going on backwards. Put more weight on top of or in front of the axle.
I always put my truck in 4x4 when I'm loading an unloading
there is a big difference between the zd1011 and the zd1211. The 1211 cuts way fastway faster and is much more powerful.
Can you show how to do it on a 2620 tractor/ba525 loader?
Massy Ferguson has a better 60 inch deck design. And the PTO slips in easily
Deere is faster with single point hydro connector. 😂😂😂
No doubt
Really great common sense tips. Safety First! Ben
You bet!
How price mini crawler dumptrak
5th grade math
Chock the steering axle of the truck, no stabilizers so you can lower the center of gravity when the rear wheels are on the rear of the trailer coming on or off. Put your front end loader on the floor of the trailer on and off to lighten the front axle load of the machine you’re unloading. If it’s a dovetail no ramps are needed and get a real truck would help.
I have a compact John Deere tractor with a bucket. I believe it weighs around 1800lbs. I haul it on a 7000lb capacity tandem axle 6’x12’ steel bed trailer. I carry 2-2ton jack stands and place them under the trailer corners to prevent the trailer lifting up on the truck while loading/unloading.
Yes- My method too- I also use the jack stands to support the trailer when unloading sand or topsoil, usually I will haul 2 yards at a time- If you you use this method, tho, be sure your supporting surface is solid- concrete of a heavy 2X10 board- or the stands may disappear into the mud, the truck will lift and roll, and you are back in the soup. But it works very well indeed for small projects. My trailer is a heavy 16' lowboy by the old Trailer Wheel and Frame Company. with 18" sideboards on it. I have used it for over 25 years on the homestead- It has hauled my old 8N until it was lost in Hurricane Harvey, and later my compact Ford1715, and everything from furniture to soil, to logs, to construction material and equipment, to kids on a Hayride- I tell my friends that there is nothing you can't do with a tractor/front end loader. My place is nice, my home is nice; my friends and relatives look at me like I'm crazy for undertaking the projects that I do. Their choice. They should just watch TV in their apartment.
great way to do, very simple and safe
Forgot to add- Be sure you put the front tongue jack down too, so you don't overload your truck hitch by the load being too far forward.
If you really want to see how this works, don't fasten the ball hitch. When the tractor reaches the ramp, the entire trailer tilts up like an amusement park roller coaster. Alternatively you could have a very heavy person stand on the tow hitch and solve the problem without the need to jack the back.
happens more often then it should
Where’s the girl on the cover
I know a Man In upstate Ny, That loaded a Large Tractor Just like this one in your Picture ,and Bent His Toyota T100 frame in Half, Dumb Dumb, I told him to Put a 4x4 under each corner NO nothing will Happen, LOL
safe way to load, easier on any truck frame
Was there a trailer in the video? Beautiful Kubota snow package.
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
Thanks, you too!
Is there a way to free spin the tines for cleaning/sharpening while hooked tp the tractor or do you have to unhook tiller / pto from tractor?
Believe me, not as easy as thy make it look, drives haft sucks to get at and decks will slide around sometimes on garage floors if you don't put a rug or mat under the deck to hold it
drive shafts do suck, somedays slide on perfect most days not so much
Make sure that the ball on the truck matches the trailer. Don’t ask me how I know.
turns into a tilt trailer pretty quick
@@HuckabonesEquipment He got lucky because he already made one 15 mile trip with the mismatch.
Whoever is driving that tractor onto the dual axle wants to stop giving advice until they are aware of where their lift arms are positioned, both times they ran the arms into the pavement, also when the trailer tipped the front lift implement didn’t dig into the trailer ramp like it did when the steadies were down!
Thanks for watching & commenting
Did he say 5 ton trailer? And it supports 5000 lbs. ? Lol

Know someone who died that way. Trying to load a backhoe on a hill with no jacks.
Do they make half doors for the 520?
not through Kubota
i was going to comment that it did not look like there was enough tongue weight. Insufficient tongue weight and the trailer will start to oscillate as you go above 40 mph. pull it further forward. good point about the stabilizer blocks!
watch for a new video on the importance of proper tongue weight, out soon
Will this work on the B2650 decks?
no B50/LX10/LX20 have a different deck
Zero turn commercial mower is what you want if you’re cutting a lot of grass. Mowers are slow compact tractors slower still.
Possibly, you need to consider the terrain too. If you have steep to mow you're better off with tractor. I'd hate to see a novice on a zero turn mowing hills.
Thanks for watching & commenting
@@hugostiglitz8465 when I first got a zero turn had trouble backing out of shop, there’s definitely a learning curve.
Zero turn may be better suited if that's all you do but it's a one trick pony versus a tractor.
The T and G series are lawn/garden tractors.....the BX is a sub-compact tractor. It all depends on how much money you want to spend, and the ability to add-on attachments/implements in the future...can't do that with the T or the G series as they're more of a "lawnmower". The BX is the very base entry level to the tractor world. The cost of a T or G series really pushed me to just buy the BX2680....Couldn't see paying what the T and G series costs to just get a riding lawn mower. So much more versatility in the BX series, adding a loader, mid mount mower, tiller, etc.... Neither the lawn/garden tractor or the sub-compact tractor is going to be all that quick mowing....if you want to mow a large area, go with a zero turn LOL. Eventually that's what I'll do but this year has been pretty tight financially....so I use the BX2680 with a 60" mid mount mower to mow my 3/4 of an acre. Most of which is wide open pasture.....so a zero turn definitely would be better in my case. One thing to keep in mind too before you buy....if you are even thinking of future attachments....the T and G series are not what you want....a BX or even the B series tractors would be the way to go...if you have property, get a zero turn, and a BX or B series tractor...yes, 2 separate machines, but you'll thank yourself later. Having a dedicated mower is a much better route to go, unless you don't mind taking the deck on and off all the time, or if you have enough space to park the tractor with the deck on....although the deck isn't too hard to install/remove, it is added time when you want to mow....this is my issue, where I keep my tractor I can't fit it into the shop with the deck installed, so every time I want to mow my lawn, I have to install the mower deck....then remove it when I'm done. Plus you really don't want the deck installed when you are doing loader work, or any 3 point hitch type work as the deck raises and lowers with the 3 point, if you don't have the deck locked in the TOP position....as well as if you have a 3 point implement installed every time you lower the deck the 3 point implement goes down too LOL....kind of some trade offs with buying a tractor to mow with.
That's only if you can afford both a Tractor and a zero turn.. that's a luxury most can't justify If you can do everything you need done with 1 purchase its much more economical
It is great cutting grass with a zero turn, just depends on what the customers needs are, Thanks for watching & commenting
We loaded a JD tractor on a trailer and it didn't have stabilizers at the back, it lifted the Tundra off the ground about 6". Luckily the ground was flat and it towed it ok, but not great. The best trailers for transporting these machines are dual axle equipment haulers rather than utility trailers.
Thanks for the info!
A longer trailer would help out a lot as well. You have a 20 foot machine and a 20 foot trailer And so that gives you no tongue weight whatso ever until you are fully loaded. Also the trailer should be tilted upwards in the front until you are loaded and as you get loaded it should squat the truck down to where it should set perfectly level If loaded correctly
Thanks for watching & commenting
This is much better than Deere's drive over mower deck less complex and more ground clearance
thanks for watching & commenting
Loved my GR2120, but my BX is just so useful.
Good choice!
Do you guys sell Orange Line trailers? They're essentially just Big Tex trailers rebranded so you can finance them with a Kubota machine but we just can't move them at all for some reason. I'm so used to seeing stacks of them that when I go to other dealers, it looks weird without half assembled trailers lying around
We carry the Kubota K-Haul line up which is made by Weberlane in Southern Ontario
I wonder if it's a local thing that changes depending on where the dealer is. Never would have thought about it like that
1st tactor drags the implement and the link arms, clearly a quality dealership.....
noted for the next video
Passenger "stabilizer" was clearly on the ground, while drivers side was elevated like noted. Nice try to make the angles look better for the video.
No tricks, just a simple video showing the need for stabilizer arms
stabilizer jacks of the 80s was dad giving me the nod to grab the 6x6 and assorted limber to shove under the back of the trailer. They were universal. Usually got a sip of his beer and the other nod which meant dont tell your mother.
thanks for watching & commenting
Oh no! The truck’s suspension raised up a couple inches!
It's only a problem when the rear tires come off the ground. Then the truck can start rolling.
it gets really amplified if unloading on a hill, stay safe
