Battling Ropes are a great conditioning tool and they are
a fun way to ad in some energy system work at the end of
training sessions (or make them a full blow conditioning
session in under 15 minutes).
Do you really need to know 45+ variations?
Nope. Just three will do but variety is the spice of life and
who doesn't like to ad and try more challenging variations.
If you make training fun then it's easier to make a habit.
Pick and choose and start with 20 seconds of work, 40
seconds of rest - for 10 rounds (make sure you put in maximal
effort in the 20 seconds).
Some other interval times that work great.
15/15
15/20
20/20
30/30
10/10
10/20
If you make it too long of an interval then the quality and power
goes down and it can become sloppy.
Pick and choose and get to work!

I'm a trainer and this is the best rope video I've ever come across. Absolutely awesome variations! You can see how intense the work is by his facial expressions!! Thanks so much
After watching I'm exhausted
😂😂😂 me too
1 min in I'm tired of this shit haha
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😆😆 likewise I. Phewww I've burnt a ton of calories just watching.
The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. czcams.com/users/postUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.
Thanks for the variation of exercises. Started to use the ropes at the gym, really liked the intensity of the work out. Bought one today to incorporate this in the touch rugby training that I teach every week.
You are the GOAT for this. You provided variety, listed the names of the exercises, and made a short video. I wish in the description you wrote explanations of the how-to part. We can watch you of course. But I like to jot down the explanations in my notes so when I'm ready to do the routine I can make sure my form is great. Also, if I'd like a friend to join me, I'd like to able to explain the exercise to them.
Incredible job, Luka! Best battle rope video I’ve seen thus far. Keep it up, brother!!
One of the best battle rope variation videos I’ve seen. Superb! Thanks for sharing. Going to use some of these for my clients. 💯🙌🏽
Amazing video I am definitely going to try some of these exercises, there was a lot variety with the Battle Ropes I had never seen before. Thanks for the video
i love battle rope. just got a chance to try them out and i'm going to add your drills to me set list. thank you so much.
Thanks for adding major variety to my battle rope workouts, you are The man
Excellent! Very creative. Thank you for sharing.
I recently added battle rope to my routines. I love it, thanks for ur ideas. I may add few of my own here if you can visualize it: 1- Behind the back wave (regular grip or hammer grip) 2 - Bicep Curl-shake, 3- Reverse bicep curl-shake I normally use 2 side of ropes to 2 that, then drop set it to 1 rope for more rep, BTW My elbow stayed bent most of the time with this, not actually bicep curl like dumbbell curl. I keep elbow bent and swing the whole arm up as if in shaking up motion, and the edge of my palm goes up. Hope you can understand my description. Cheers. I love Armwrestling, that's why the idea came out like that. Many of my rope motion are done with elbow bent as in AW. Still, straight arm works the wrist as well
A variedade é muito grande. Excelente.

Sure it is. I didn't expect battle ropes to give such a "battle" either until I tried them. Now I love those things.

I took these exercises and turned them into a 45 minute interval class. It is epic.
Thanks for the idea Malcolm, how about the last 15 minutes to get a complete 1 hour workout
@@issaissa4974 Class was a 45 min slot at the Y.
Question, before I go crazy with this, what does this workout? Is it muscle gain or fat loss or just stamina?
If it is muscle gain, where?
If it is fat loss, where?

Great video. That guy had to be exhausted after all those.
best work out ever
Love Battle ropes! I do 30/30 for 4 sets flat out x 4 cycles (16 sets) with 4 variations (alternate arms + two hand slams + outward circles + single arm waves - 2 sets each in the last cycle) 16mins of sweat and work :)
Luke, I do this at the beginning of a workout. Is there anything saying when you should do them or that you shouldn't combine them with a workout etc?
Holy God! Those 🌊
Awsome video i didn't realise how versatile they can be or how much they would kick my ass 🤣
I died just watching you!😰😂
I can only do about 4 minute with like 200 breaks and my heart, WOW!🤪 Definitely trying some, thank you for all these awesome tips.
