I am kinda loving that Caleb seems to be one of the only characters that not afraid of Cain. When they eventually make up (because, come on after he wakes up from the coma that will happen) they'll be a great tag team.
That's one of my pet hates about Cain. He's more than happy to criticise other people, and make them feel embarrassed and ashamed. But when someone does it to him, he can't handle it, and does what he does best. Lashes out, and kicks off.
It funny likes of Cain and Andy are presented as some kind of saints when probably 2 worst people in the past stuff they done and anyone who stands up them and calls them out etc are the bad guys. I never understood why Andy was the favourite son, he was adopted and his crimes etc and just rude and arsey in general.
William Ash has more than proved to be a breath of fresh air on the show in my book, since joining it's been well worth watching and long may it continue. It's an absolute joke he didn't win best newcomer at the British Soap Awards. (No, I don't think he dies from being pushed over the ridge).
In all fairness he ain’t a pussy like all the other people in the village who meet Cain Like Ross and Pete who wouldn’t do anything to him And actually took the punch fairly well
First Cain says he is not family, caleb ignores, tells him to get out caleb tries to apologize then cain says his mum never wanted him. Neither Moira nor Chas cautioned Cain as he mouthed off, soon as Caleb fought back they are cautioning him. 😂

This looks sooo similar to when Cain got attacked. Everybody hates Caleb, he delivers some home truths, has a confrontation outside the Woolly and then gets attacked and left for dead. Cain and Caleb really are brothers right
Maybe that why Cain and Caleb clash so much as Chris Tate was one person he did not like, I also think maybe Cain and Caleb are more alike than they think is also maybe why they clash.
As much as i like Cain he was absolutely wrong and Caleb knew full well he made a valid point Cain has done a lot of things that should have got him kicked out of the family 10x over and for a lot of Faith's last years he was horrible to her and made it clear she was dead to him until he finally opened his eyes Cain's temper is why Kyle ended up in a unit and would have gone to prison if it wasn't for Caleb Caleb isn't the first Dingle to break trust or make a mistake, Noah was bang on the point that everyone has had a second chance including himself
This isn't Caleb's second chance though, he already screwed over Cain once, after he let his brother take the fall for his stupid car theft, because he had a record. Faith was the cause why Cain didn't know about his son Nate's existence, and abandoned both Cain and Chas to Shaddrach, forcing them to move out because of the abuse. Caleb has treated his own son in an incredible vile way, family means basically nothing to him, if they stand in the way of his plans... Lots of Dingles have done very messed up stuff (even the ones you don't expect like Marlon, armed theft), the whole kicking out is pure hypocrisy anyway, with the level of dysfunction....

i havent watched this show in over 10 years but i am really liking this caleb character and have been following his story kind of, by these clips but fucking hell lol he's a hard one to read is he a kind of decent bloke that's just a ot head or some kind of crazed manipulator? he goes from cold to hot in an instant is he just a psycho trying to battle his own inner demons?

And in his mind also believes he has been deprived of much more, from his father Frank Tate side of the family - much, much more like Home Farm, Kim's luxurious residence, which Caleb believed to be rightfully his.. Heaps more to his story..but no, he is not a psycho. or any of those things you mentioned, in my opinion anyway, and I for one have always liked him❤and want him to STAY❤and I say to them all... Caleb is right about Cain he's an empty threat maker who's young son had to kill to save him because he didn't have the guts to kill Al despite threatening his life multiple times and he still thinks his death threats will be taken seriously lol. Caleb was right that Moira has more balls than Cain does as she's actually murdered someone before so a threat from her would actually hold weight but Cain is just a chav teenager who acts like he's this dangerous criminal but is really just a school bully who thinks he's more than he is.
Lol, so why did Caleb need his son to do much of the heavy lifting (Marry Gabby, spy on Kim), for his ridiculous revenge plot... Caleb's heading straight to "mess around, and find out" town soon, don't worry.
