Yes I think the fact that Nicky is completely ignoring him is punishment enough, he’s sacrificed his already damaged relationship with his son for money, his plan failed and now he’s paying the consequences for it.

Marlon has been thrown out the family twice for getting Sam into trouble back in '97 and for stealing out of the family pot in '03, he was let back in the family (albeit for tragic circumstances). Anymore examples are welcome but yeah these banishments don't stick well
