- A NeRF rendering of Indiana University's "Metz Carillon", which was demolished in 2017. A 'carillon' is a set of bells, usually in a tower, that can be played.
Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) are neural networks trained on input data (photographs of an object or environment). This model uses ~100 photographs I captured in 2016 using a drone.
Once the cameras are aligned and the NeRF model is trained, new imagery (such as this video!) can be generated of a structure that no longer exists.
