Your Thai fan here.
The woodwork mentioned is made out of carved wood and the glittering stuff is the inside of seashells.
It depicts some tropical flowers and plants, the animals are Thai cows.
😊
Without looking at comps, unable to say if it is worth $22M but without a doubt, this 7400 sq ft townhome is a masterpiece. There is so much to love but what I love most are the details throughout, the interior design and the backyard outdoor space with the water feature. Thanks for taking us on this tour.
glad you enjoyed!
Worth 15 at most
I had the money I would buy it!! Love it!!
@@driddywaters7341 not even lmao
I cap them off at 13
My favorite part was you wanting to close the door quickly because the A/C was on. It’s the genuine consideration for a millionaires electric bill that comes from a proper upbringing for me ☺️
I’m imagining youtuber Cash Jordan touring this house and the funny comments he’d be making 😂
I can’t help thinking this is a billionaires sons house or bachelor pad that recently got in a relationship which would explain the Barbie artwork 😭😂
This is the most beautiful apartment. I love the way Erik goes about his job. But the truth is; without making good investments, no one can ascertain the kind of money required to own such properties. I am retiring next yr at 55 with 3 houses paid off worth 40.5 million. I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.
Credits to *ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER,* she has always had my back all through the process of working and investing. You can glance her name up on the internet and verify her yourself. she has years of financial market experience...
Heard many good recommendations about ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER by some YT channels, Seminars and other platforms.
I agree with you on the backgarden, superb stuff.
But the alligator skin wall and the out of place LEDs kinda set off the mood for me.
Great tour, I’m your new fan!!
Townhouses in NYC have the potential to be so unique, and this one is no exception. So much to love and so much to distinguish this place from other homes!
Ikr if I had the money I would buy it for sure!!
That backyard is everything. I love that the entire space was designed around that tree. Beautiful!
20 ft isn't wide for 22m. Looks dark and that garden is shocking. That fountain is hiding outside noise. Count the Windows, all those mirrors are because of the lack of light. Something is wrong with this place.
5 floors no elevator , that is a huge deal breaker for many people
I completely agree, for 22 million I'd want 25 feet wide. Plus I'd prefer the west side, preferably the West Villag.
Oh no Ronald… are you posting this from your Billionaires Row penthouse?
Dark and dingy right, how this costing $20M...😅🤷🏿♂️
Exactly. Nobody wants to walk all those stairs. That's how Ivanka's mother died, from srairs.
You have to be young or very fit to live in a 5 story townhouse with no elevator! It is there, but I still wish this house retained more of its original character.
And not pregnant or not have a cast on a leg/foot, or other injury or bad illness at any age.
I agree! Whoever lives there made way too many modern and over the top ornamental changes that replaced/ignored the historical features.
nice space but the interior design is to much. I'm not saying that the majority of the rooms aren't nice but the way it is put together seems a little chaotic.
Nice to see Erik on top form, flowing, informative commentary, great enthusiasm and a well planned tour of an amazing property.
Thanks for another great house tour, Erik! It's a gorgeous house. Wood paneling needs to make a comeback! The whole place feels cozy and homey. Loved the bathroom with the green tile bath. One thing I expected and missed was an elevator. For 22 milion in a 5 story house I'd have liked one to be there. For accessibility and to accomodate my general laziness hahaha.
I honestly never had the opportunity (yet), to look inside an entire Townhouse in NYC, but this one, OMG, it is much more than I could ever imagined what might be.
This place is gorgeous and just amazing!
Beautiful...just beautiful.
Most are much nicer.
The pink and purple hues make it a place that belongs to the 90s. Could’ve been such a nice interior.
He is back ladies and gentlemen. The king of house tours 👌
Americans don't have any idea what a $22M looks like. I felt like it's a tiny luxury home. Come to Italy, Spain, France etc and see what $22M can get you.
That green tiled tub is beautiful! So are the windows placed inside the closets, fantastic.
This house screams uniqueness, I love the fact that every floor and each room has its own theme and design. It brings life to the property, especially the backyard garden, and I love how the master bedroom is covered in alligator skin. Never thought I would see something like that
I wonder how they hide the seams 🤔
let’s go Erik! i have been waiting for these million dollar nyc apartment tours!!!
To me, it's worth it. I haven't seen a tour that suits my wants and needs like this townhouse has.
Erik, good to see you on CZcams again! And what a beautiful house you're showing. It has a warm, luxurious, relaxing atmosphere. That green-tiled bathtub is terrific. I'd definitely feel right at home there and wouldn't have any hesitation at putting $22 million on the table for a home in the Upper East Side. Thanks for showing it.
The townhouse and its lovely woodwork reminds me of The Owlwood Estate in Holmby Hills that you toured in December 2019. Everyone should see that episode: "Touring A Massive $115 Million California MEGA MANSION - Erik Conover"--more than worth the time.
This is a great house, I viewed it quite a while ago, still has not sold (I think it's $2-3m over, there are great deals in UES at the moment so the price will need to shift to sell, I feel). Finishing is bespoke and very high quality - but expensive to maintain (e.g. the leather floors). One issue is the beautiful but isolated dining room. The pantry to the left has no cooking appliances, so you have to drag the food from the kitchen below, up the stairs and through the sitting room. There's no dumb waiter.
Good point about the kitchen. While obviously a stunning home and a dream to live in, the layout feels a bit disjointed. Maybe because of where utilities are located and issues with the time necessary to obtain permits. I wonder how many of those walls are load-bearing..🪓🪓😅
@@findahomenyc Also, the greatest sin: 5 floors and no elevator. That's a problem of being 20 ft wide, I think here.
Great point!
Without knowing property records I would assume it’s probably a converted multi-family. Only buildings over 6 stories need an elevator so I imagine was not in the original design I imagine the permits are the biggest issue once again with the elevator. Would take forever and would probably not get you the payout to cover the carrying costs you need to shell out while waiting on approvals.
Is that major water damage in the basement? Also, is that basement prone to flooding?
Hi Erik, please upload videos regularly.. For me, the way you do your house tour is much better than the other Real Estate vloggers.
It's nice but they could have made the owner's bathroom bigger by taking up the space equivalent to the 2nd wing of the closet. Bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor spaces have a huge impact on sales.
“With mirrors all around so you can get funky” 😂😂
Full tour! Was waiting for this one
My favorite apartment I’ve seen in NYC so far. Beautiful
The townhouse is monumental and palatial. The exterior and interior present modern, yet have classic traditional elements in the design throughout. The woodwork/stonework are elegant with unmatched craftmanship. The 7 fireplaces shown were just brilliant and add that romantic warm feeling that is unique to fireplaces they are EVERYTHING! Favorite spaces are: the basement, primary bedroom owners wing closet and bathroom the glass blocks in the shower were radiant! the 4th floor media room. So many nooks to hide away to unwind and refresh, with posh....Thanks Erik for a tour of imperial lux!!!,,,
Ugliest thing I have ever seen.
Worth it, for sure. A lot of the expensive NYC apartments/condos shown on other video tours have 0 character. This one has lots. I love it.
Six floors of fun! I loved this town house. Thanks for the tour. I personally loved the garden, since it’s so rare and large, I loved it the most.
Nothing beats that townhouse you toured 5 years ago with the pool on the first floor.. high ceilings and just very big and open spaces
I've watched a number of these fancy home tours from Conover and Serhant over the past couple weeks, this is one of my two favorite homes I've seen, definitely my favorite in NYC.
I don’t think it’s worth $22million, you’re basically paying millions for random objects, artwork, textures that a random person has picked out. It almost feels unfair that you would have to be stuck with all that extra stuff that looks like it should be sold off in a garage sale. That money could of been spent refining the space such as the “laundry room” in the basement that looks like American horror story. Despite all the unnecessary styling and clutter, the home has a beautiful charm to it. Such a shame on the interior design.
Thanks for helping advertise my home! Hope it sells soon 😀
LOL!
Upper East Side like in Gossip Girl ! Btw I'm enthusiastic of this show since having read the books. Plus, any popular show is a guide for a touristic themed tour in a city. That's why a big Thank You Erik for the variety of estate in you channel
Shoutout for the Huel advertisement, I've been having it for over 5 years and I feel great, it saves money, but more importantly is the convenience of knowing that I'm getting everything my body needs without the hassle of having to go grocery shopping, planning and cooking.
I would pick the first guest room on the 3rd floor I love the balcony!
Such a cool place! I love all of the outdoor spaces. Totally worth the price!
amazing townhome with classic bones. I marveled, the second floor foyer (meticulous). the entire owner's sanctuary, by the time I saw the green tiled tub surrounded with wood; I could hardly breathe. the Balinese inspired backyard was a hit.
That place is wonderful. Floor 5 is my favorite.
That walk in closet space is perfect! And the master bedroom is perfect!
I love the dining room with the a frame sunroof and the trees very peaceful
Very unique designs and cozy vibes. No doubt this is an amazing place to live in!
Wow!! I love everything!👌
i love watching these types of videos, never ever going to be able to buy or even walk into one, i call it wish watching. do a walk through on my house, a 2-minute video. 140 grand... viral.. lol.
The glass walls... no doubt I'd run into them and break my face. But the apartment itself is beautiful!
Definitely one of my favorites that you've shown. I like it more than many that are twice the price.
Wow! Thank you!
Finally a new video 🔥🥰
wow thats amazing my favorite parts are the backyard and the media room in the 5th floor
loved it. loved the garden the most
Welcome back
Wow! This is gorgeous!
really enjoy the unique style of it
and of course anytime you leave the original historic elements in a house you’re winning. I love history so the original stonework is so cool
The backyard is BEAUTIFUL 👍
Thank you for sharing this tour...
I like the booties, very thoughtful. It is a beautiful property.
I mean, this really was the nicest property I've ever seen. Very well done, cheers!
Wow. Stunning.

The best townhouse i've ever seen !!!
Amazing.
Love your videos.
Love this place
This home is beautiful and very charming. I'm starting to like their idea of the dining room.
Beautiful place… whoever owns this must be into fashion 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Terrible taste in art though.
Thanks for showing us, every nook and cranny of this place is stunning. I would run through the basement in a gown like I’m being chased by Dracula daily.
I love those dog washing stations.🥰
This is just amazing... My dream house
Leather Floors. I’m blown away
Nice Erick
Nice HouseTour
Yes.
Amazing house
I'm not really into modern, but something about this house I like. Maybe it's all the wood mixed in.
I do like it! It’s beautiful and I do like the space. Gorgeous, it has a nice balance of traditional and modern. Love the outdoor space too
Also has towels with embossed initials!
Just compromised by the lower ceiling heights in the kitchen on the ground floor…the presenter is tall, but it’s so important to have high ceilings.
I’d say yes, look where it is ❤
plz more videos i love your videos
Definitely worth it. Gorgeous.
Very nice
That townhouse is what I call heaven😮
This was a good one I love that master bedroom with the alligator wall paper and floors. I would pay 22 mil for it I liked the overall look of this town home
8:25 got to close those doors it’s not like the other two in the dining room are open 😂
I don’t know about the house, but your suit is definitely a million dollar suit! Go, Erik!
Your reaction to that DvD collection was totally spot on lol!
This townhouse is phenomenal
That Cooler Goku statue is awesome 👌 DBZ for life! 14:15mins
Great value
good to see the pocket doors in situ.
we need more personal erik conover content again!!

Beyond gorgeous! 🎉❤️🎉❤️
I really do think it’s Worth it..From the location, six or five floors, again location and I love ❤️ that DVD private Room..Because I personally have a Bunch of DVDs and a collection of CDs..Beautiful Townhouse 🏡..
