YES or NO to the SOHO LOFT ?
Yes yes yes
Y E S ! ! !
YES!
Yes.😊
Yes
This $18 million penthouse is FAR more impressive than most of the $50-75 million apartments I've seen elsewhere in NYC.
I think the difference is that this is designed to actually be lived in.
@@eif6051Yeah, this is the first luxury NYC apartment I've seen that feels like a family could actually live in it.
Cuz $50-75 mil apartments arent designed to be lived in, they are made to be invested in and keep your money in real estate that you can always get back at any time. 80% of those apartments are empty and are bland in design and furniture.
I want to say this is probably the best new york apartment you've shot. It's just not missing anything, perfect living space
The best? Naah fam
its missing double dishwashers, double ovens, mud room, premium mill work, laundry room, gym, etc...
@@minigiant8998 I agree. It is nice.... maybe 10 Million.....
Yep. It's warm and cozy feeling unlike most of the spaces at this price tag that feel more like a cold empty art gallery than a place you'd live in.
Great space but the finish doesn’t look anywhere near 12m worth
I warmly congratulate the architects. The way they have distributed the rooms to maximize space without giving up historical elements, both structural and aesthetic, is exquisite. It is without a doubt one of the best apartments I have seen.
You're not an architect
you are not an astronaut @@Kronos0999
If I had limitless funds available, I would 100% jump on this loft. It's beautiful in every respect of the word. You can tell the owners have invested a lot of time into the small details and I really appreciate how they're trying to keep as much of the original building as they can while still modernizing it. The indoor/outdoor living feature on the second floor is stunning and I, too, have never seen an outdoor space like that in NYC. Stunning!
Duh, limitless funds. You could buy every house in the world with limitless funds.
It is very nice but no workout space or real laundry are...... 10 Million.....
@@pandapantz9954 Nah, before you can buy every house in the world, your limitless funds would push the world economy to collapse with limitless inflation and soon we all would live in a stone age. That's the smart alec answer to your smart alec comment. However I totally understand the original sentiment though. The nominal 18 M is no way enough considering that a potential serious buyer must be prepared to maintain the property too and to pay running expenses. And there are probably many more smarter property deals out there. However you look at it whoever ends up buying that for them 18 M is almost like pocket money - even if they manage to haggle the price down.
The very big problem with buying a very expensive house is that you have to pay a lot of money annually in property taxes, which even when you can afford it very easily, it is still very painful to know that your house is NOT really yours because you are paying rent as shake down money to the Mafia known as government
@@malloryg4251, having a purpose and being essential do not detract from the fact that people are basically forcibly made to pay taxes, which is the exact same thing as someone on the street robbing you, because the robber also has a purpose with your money, which is also often essential for keeping the robber's habits running. "Governments" are the biggest thieves there are. Furthermore, even if we were to disregard the fact that taxes are basically forcibly collected, therefore are robberies and shakedowns, the criteria used to collect property taxes are in most cases wrong, because someone with a very expensive but very small house will pay way more than someone with a very big but very cheap house. As you can imagine, the much bigger house will, generally speaking, be a much bigger burden on the inhabitants of the area. By the way, the words "crime" and "criminal" are not good assessment words, as what is or is not a crime is made up by lawmakers and enforced by their goons known as law enforcers
This place is really cool. NYC Lofts are always my favorites. All that open space is just fantastic to me. I picture myself chasing a puppy or a little kid all around the space during playtime
I do not want homeless Spongebob chasing MY kids. 😅
The wood, the brick, the light. Its all so warm and homely. A lot of times in multi-million dollar living spaces they make it so rich and posche that it doesn't feel like a place you should live in. I love this. I can imagine living here.
Excellent renovation with keeping elements of the original space. LOVE the master suite , the rooftop is just incredible. Yes, this would be worth the pricetag.
I’m loving the slo-mo coffee sipping with the doggie! It’s a vibe!
Fantastic space. It's sophisticated but still has an almost craftsman air to it. Great amount of light and the finishes give it a warmth and ease. I think it's a winner for sure.
I absolutely love this loft. Of all the penthouses you posts, this is by far my favorite. I don't like high buildings. This one is just right in every way. If only I had the money!
This is my favorite New York apartment I have seen so far. Absolutely love it! Amazing to see the original materials of the old building come back in a modern design, it fits very well and is a great addition to the atmosphere (always love seeing the New York brick on the interior). The addition of the skylights is also a very nice touch.
This is perfection!! Every detail is just so well-thought out. Owner has money AND taste!
This place is possibly my ideal NYC apartment. The history combined with modern features done so sympathetically is perfect and it’s been done with such great taste. If I ever find myself with $18 million spare, I’ll put in an offer.
A perfect combination of old building with modern lifestyle. Cool!❤
Definitely one of my favorite apartments you’ve ever toured
Nice! One of the best New York City loft conversions I’ve seen. Very tasteful yet retaining the character.
Wow, thanks!
This is possibly the best apartment I have seen in years. Absolutely stylish and stunning
Oh my god! That rooftop is so beautiful! I loves it!
You could have such a nice garden up there
Phenomenal home! Please do more moderns in NYC.. Definitely one of my favorite apartments you’ve ever toured.
Oh yes please. What an amazing space. I could only imagine.
Thank you so much for sharing a beautiful, gorgeous loft there in Soho!!! Wow, they had to get permits to close the street below to place that pool on top!! Amazing!!! I really like the two sets of washers and dryers. This is a very simply elegant home to have.
Keep ‘em coming I’ve really been enjoying the videos
If I had $18 million, this is absolutely what I’d buy. Absolutely gorgeous space. The owners are super lucky!
Phenomenal home! Please do more moderns in NYC.
I love that it is not ostentatious and gaudy. It’s warm and inviting. I imagine keeping that space warm in a New York winter could get pricy I imagine. But if you can afford that I doubt that heating costs bother you🤣🤣
I loved this! I love the apartment! Will use so many ideas❤
You did a really great job!謝謝分享, thanks a lot for sharing!👍😄👏
Man it's been a solid min. I haven't seen a NYC apartment that I didn't nick pick about, but this one, was perfect from start to finish. Very awesome!
Absolutely love every detail beautifully done
Definitely one of my favorite videos, thank you!!!
Like the penthouse, like the coffee making system, definitely like your doggo. 👍
Everyone needs an extra cash flow apart from a daily job, anything that can help get a little extra dough each month is important to beat the tide. For a comfort vacation in mind, you should mainly be focused in channeling funds into investments that yield returns without constant intervention.
Gregg I'm exceptionally well positioned for what's to come because my portfolio is solid enough to withstand and outperform irrespective of the market trends, through this system I have managed my financial resources and travels to most countries with family.
While the market has infinite complexities, put in the simplest terms to help guide your financial growth, the research that goes into it is quite actively remunerative.
Debbie, that’s the best financial steps ma’am, you could also take advantage of some growth stocks at the moment, every crypto trader is currently bagging some dips, but you gotta be careful because not all coin recovers from a dip. Luckily for me my trader and coach Frost Hilda has been using every opportunity to ensure I benefit from each turn the market takes.
I wish I had the opportunity for a clean start so I could participate in the investment economy rather than continually being crushed by it through high rent and utilities. If I ever acquire additional income, Which right now means I would have to beat 10.7% inflation in order to be where I was last year, So If I somehow increase my income by 20%, That additional 10% surplus will be invested.
I'm 26 on poverty line income, It's rough out here and it's mostly the stuff around me like the houses in my neighbourhood that are being bought and then rented out as investments. I feel like the time to get onboard is gone and it's really going to show in 10 years when the recently retired boomer generation start dumping their assets as they run out of cash.
This loft is spacious. I had captured in my mind the living room and the bedroom with a window in the ceiling☀️✨
A perfect combination of contemporary design and character - stunning.
Exactly. The wood and brick make it warm. The kitchen sucks but nothing a few thousand wouldn’t fix
My dream has always been to live in a modern artsy industrial loft in the city. I can't get enough of these videos of multi million dollar homes of my dreams
Stunning! An emphatic YES.
Wow, if I had the money and wanted to live in NYC it would be a toss up between this and the Tribeca one you showed. I think the roof top would be the tipping point. Incredible, love the history of the building and all the original materials that were saved. Say hi to Theo for me.
Really nice place. Love it. Well designed.
Awesome job erik thumb up
Yes! By far the best use of loft space in NY I’ve ever seen. Buying a lottery ticket tomorrow.
Brroooo... I waited so much for this one .. Theo and NYC❤❤
Yeah this place is absolutely insane. Great video Erik!
Thanks!
@@erikvanconover
18 million $ for a 120 year old ruin? You must be joking...
Yes to the soho loft it looks so great ! Very homeley, feels so human !
great penthouse Erik
This is my favorite house of all your videos, I thinks it's great, for the location, the design and the price, definitely I would buy it.
Omg I am in love with this place!
Completely in love with that center island
Finally a magnificent apartment, almost perfect, this is my ever fav !
This is spectacular!! The incredible outdoor space (the views, the dumb waiter, the pool), no wasted space, the ingenious skylights and storage, the brick and the wood. Thank you so much for showing us this amazing spot.
Question: And forgive me if you said it in the video and I missed it. Are there any other apartments in the building and if so is this apartment the only one with access to the roof top area?
One more question/criticism: What bathroom is the second questroom supposed to use? My 2nd bathroom has two entrances so it is en-suite to the guest room but it also can be
accessed from the hallway. I didn't see a second entrance in the guest room bathroom.
Thanks Eric. It's worth the 18mil. Reminds of the gorgeous Telluride, Colorado home. True artwork and convenient living structure
This is basically the perfect apartment!
It's nuts that you can not only fantasy browse these dream penthouses, but then arrange to see them!
loved that bathroom wallpaper. getting the bathroom vibe right is underrated.
Just perfect. Beautiful
Without hesitation... YES!
One of my favorites; love it.
I absolutely love it.
Yes. Absolutely. Love that neighborhood. Great memories from the 90's. 😇👑🌏🌍🌍💚
absolutely yes. and I love that 1906 fire resistant steel door!
It’s perfect! Wow!
The roof is amazing. Can’t believe what is up there. Really nice. This place has it all. Thanks for showing. By the way, yes, I would buy this. 😎
this is amazingggggg
That is stunning!
Looks amazing Erik! Wow 👌
Thanks! 👍
I love lofts… this one is gorgeous!
👸😲😲😲 HEY ERIK!!! SOOOOOOOO NIIIICE!!! HAVE A BLESSED WEEK!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks! You too!
This place is stunning
Ayeee for patio furniture. When I was first moving out, patio furniture was #1 on my list for a couch just because I liked the silhouette better than traditional furniture. But then I thought about the discomfort and opted out. It stills looks good though... might have to reconsider when I move next.
Theo cameos!
I really like this property and its got so many great functional ideas in it, its for show but it all has purpose.
Honestly that last bedroom has sooo many windows it's wonderful!
Absolutely gorgeous!
your doggo is the most gorgeous golden retriever I've seen!.. condo is nice too ha!

@@erikvanconover yup he needs his own YT channel!
Glad to see a Theo sighting!!
This is my ideal place. I love it'
The stairs area is really cool.
LOVE IT. Of course, not 18 million worth of value - but someone will pay the worth. Excellent space.
Very nice, that roof is cool looks comfortable
@Eric Conover Thanks so much for sharing this Soho loft. This loft is truly a dream object.A roof top pool in NYC is awesome. Wish I could afford it. Kind regards and lots of luck 🍀to you and your endeavours from Germany.
1000% would buy this. At first I was not impressed but you kept on touring and I gotta say the rooftop is spectacular.
The sites eyes and sniffing of the dog...Priceless!
Absolutely yes I'd buy this if I had the money. This is a perfect New York apartment

Erik this penthouse is stunning and l was raised on the lower east side so I'm all for it great video
Wooow this place is amazing I would love to live there I'm not sure about the price but it is NYC so I'm definitely not surprised 😊❤
This loft gives off LA vibes to me, like something you’d find in the Hollywood hills. Very relaxing feeling. Thank you for the video, Tom Selleck 😊
It’s a good mix of both coasts! Well designed
This is easily the best Home Tour I’ve seen so far, both in terms of a (very) likable host, and what she’s done with their apartment. It’s gorgeous! She has an incredible eye for detail, as well as a gift for designing and organizing the over-all space… Carly : The piece you made and framed can absolutely be called “Art”! I love it, and think you should continue to pursue Art AND Craft-making, to see where it leads you, in your NYC adventure. Good luck!
LOVE IT
Absolutely yes.
Yes, definitely!
YES! Beautiful loft!
It really is!
this apartment is so beautiful
Watching from the UK … love these style of homes, truly magnificent….. yes please 👍

If I had the money? HELL YEAH! I love it!

Amazing just to see it, thank you…
A real body of work! I don’t think I’ve seen a penthouse in Atlanta like this one! We have some nice real estate too.
Real smooth. 👼🏽🗽
I’d buy it. Usually these expensive units are tasteless but this one is worth the price.
