I’ve rewatched her seasons a couple times and honestly it always seems like she’s been hamstrings in stretching her legs into the role. Hopefully the new season they let her be The Doctor instead of playing the Doctor if that makes sense
@@jmwoods1995 The writing completely ruined Doctor Who for me. I lost ALL interest. And yeah, the 12th season was all over the place with the directing. The Master was painful to watch. The plots happen due to logical errors from beings who have lived many lifetimes.
After two seasons, I would agree it isn't Jodie's "fault".
This right here is why I'm so happy we have a Yorkshire Doctor. Absolutely adore her.
You used to have Alf Wight (aka James Herriot). I remember watching the first series of "All Creatures Great and Small" on TV in the late 1970s. Made me wish I could visit Yorkshire someday (I haven't yet, unfortunately).
The fact that she’s not smiling at 03:04 means a lot to me. As someone who overfeels about everything, I love seeing people’s true emotions so much, and you can see how seriously she’s respecting and appreciating and taking in this moment with mild nerves and major anticipation. I really like it when those moments aren’t overrun by constant comedic relief.

The Rock and Kevin Hart have no idea who Jodie is, their loss, and Jodie tries to sing and completely flubs, but when they show the clip you can really see how wonderful her voice is, and her beautiful, genuine reaction when Coldplay start musically accompanying her and she just can’t believe it’s happening. So sweet made me tear up, she is such a nice person.
The way she mimics peoples expresions,her accent,it where all yellaaa, the way she looks everybody in the face when talking to them, how she touches kevins arm when talking to him! Her surprise whe she gets the award, her face showing it to the audience,that's an empathic warm lady!
Her version of Yellow is so pure and beautiful and I can feel the emotion like she's singing it to her late 3 year old nephew
She did a bang up job on that song. I love it, and her emotion resonates so much further than the original. Bought it as soon as I could, and cannot stop listening!

I just came across Jodie's version of Yellow and i really enoyed it, once she got over the nerves of having the lads from Coldplay playing the backing track she sang from the heart and it sounded great.

The transformation always seemed less natural and more of a result of enhancement drugs which are the norm in Hollywood.
