As far as I know, Santa living in the north pole is a strictly american idea. Most of Europe say Santa lives in Lappland, it is a tourist trap for sure but it's not because it "looks like the north pole."

Some people are talking about the helium facts that appeared in Smiling Friends, but I think that moment at 7:20 kinda sounds like Zach doing the voice of Mip and Chris briefly forgetting where that was from.

I never expect them to finish anything but it's satisfying when they do, and this game was definitely deserving of it.

@@MistaBrandoVA You should buy the game and play it yourself. Not only is it quite funny, there's a pretty decent story going on in the background. Plus, there's a whole lot more to do that Chris and the gang missed. You can go to a fancy club in Balloon Kingdom once you gain entry by offering to be a test subject in an experiment where you ascend up a vertical shaft whilst those storks that try to pop you with their sharp beaks attack you from left and right. Inside there's a slot machine you can use in there to win extra cookies and a jukebox to play every song from the game. He also missed rescuing the balloon puppies in the Kingdom's central hub that gains you a Sky Book.
There's also an EXTREMELY good reward for finding all the flags (you have to visit a flag collector in Balloon Kingdom that chats to you), and finding all the Sky Books reveals background information about the bosses, the history of Balloon Kingdom and the creator of Balloon Kingdom (who mysteriously disappeared a long time ago). You can also revisit L.A. after you beat it to gain an optional Defence spell after beating an NPC balloon in a race above the highway and near the end of the game, you gain one last ability through the story line that is incredibly strong.
I was able to almost 100% the game, but I couldn't beat the secret boss you unlock after you finish the game (he's found in a room in Egypt with a Sky Book and a giant sword sticking out of the ground - Oney actually comes across it around the 2:00:03 mark).

@@Mitchisable he actually worked on it since he was a wee child. He released a pixelated version on the Ouya, but it was subpar (something that Oney and the boys would definitely make fun of).
Certain playthroughs have great atmosphere for holidays for some reason. I'm saving this one for Thanksgiving

I read a little about the helium shortage thing. Basically the reason why we need helium and it is being used up is that it is used to cool some kinds of machinery like liquid nitrogen. Xrays and stuff use liquid helium. They use a shit ton of it too, so when people blame the shortage of helium on birthday balloons scientists always make it clear that that isn't even 1% of it.

It's harder to listen to this knowing that Zach is strung up by his arms and every time he speaks, it's because Chris or Lyle is aggressively stabbing him with a radio antenna.

57:06 He just glosses over the backstory that reveals the mosquito boss he just killed was the son of the SurNova evil corporation that's killing the world. The son turned into an eco-terrorist, was disowned, then disappeared while exploring a sunken temple in Malaysian Borneo. He was thought dead, but emerged as the horrifying Mosquito man *under the thrall* of some mysterious force.
His own father's corporation tried to kill him with that anti-magic slime that disabled the fireballs, but was eventually "defeated" by Canadian Superhero Whiteknight, by **drinking pesticide** so Buzzkill drank his pesticide-laced blood. However Buzzkill wasnt killed, and resume his vague mosquito-terror, until Chris murders him...

Most people won't know how much the games story throws you for a loop, and what horrors Large Urchin has done.
I genuinely feel bad I didn't pay full or even half price for the game.
I really like that some of the OneyPlays crew saw Rebecca Sugar on a bridge one time and now refer to it as "The Rebecca Sugar Bridge"

The Masamune were a brand of katanas that brought bad luck to the Tokugawa family in Japan, if I'm not mistaken. Basically famous cursed swords.
Calling them a brand isn't exactly wrong but it feels a little odd to use the word. I had read that the master swordsmith who made those blades was named Masamune. It has been awhile since I've read about that though
Chris gets mad when his fans make fun of him for never finishing games, but honestly he deserves every comment he gets. A lot of people really had hope for this one.

To be fair to Chris and the others, they have to align schedules and actually record a decent session worth showing and it was probably the former that messed with this one, based on the length overall I'm guessing this was a one sitting thing that they'd hoped to continue but couldn't for whatever reason.
