The Sonic 1 experience
15:44-16:19 is weird. Tomar said that he never played Sonic Heroes because he didn't have a Genesis growing up. Then Zach corrects him and says Sonic Heroes was on the GameCube. Chris then thinks that Tomar was talking about the Playstation 2 and corrects Zach by saying it was also on the PS2, when Tomar was actually mistaking it for a Genesis game.

In music, especially in a wind ensemble, a warm tone usually means that your tone is rich and resonant. If your tone is bright it's because it sounds a little out of tune and you have to pull that stinky slimy toad out of your baritone's bell.
I always thought warm was a low base hum because that is the sound a vacuum tube imparts when it is literally warmed up

I managed to find a single Tomar emerald. It has allowed me to turn my most hated enemies into small little goblin creatures that are enslaved to my will. I can only dream of the kind of power possessing all 8 emeralds would grant me.

I was browsing a garage sale in the summer of 2012 in Burbank when I came across an almost new laptop, only being sold for $15. I was hesitant at first but the owner assured me that the computer worked and even turned it on and ran a virus check. I took the laptop home and decided to open up the back and see if all the parts were fully intact. Inside of the laptop was a glowing, green gem. I could feel a strange warmth radiating off of it and I didn’t want to touch it but I couldn’t stop myself from gripping it with both hands and moaning loudly. I orgasmed instantly. Suddenly, the gem stopped glowing and the surface felt cold. I shook off the strange experience I had just had and decided to reassemble the laptop and boot it up. The laptop was running differently than it had at the garage sale. It was laggy and the noises were at double the normal volume. There was only one program too, a weird internet browser called Google Chromar. I booted it up out of curiosity and heard a blood curdling scream, but it didn’t come out of the speakers, it was surrounding me. It wouldn’t stop. I closed the browser and started to cry as the scream pierced my ear drums, it just wouldn’t go away. Suddenly, the laptop blue screened and the screaming stopped. I heard a blunt thud. The screen flashed back to normal and Google Chromar was gone. There were just the normal programs. I decided to open MS Paint to calm myself down and draw a worm. But when I chose my brush, my mouse stopped working. The computer was controlling the mouse. It began to draw a hyper realistic bald bearded man, I recognized him as Tomar from OneyPlays. He was holding the severed head of Jaxxy by his long, green finger like a fish hook. His other hand was holding a red gem, similar to the one I found in the laptop. His voice screamed through the speakers, “YOU HAVE FOUND A TOMAR EMERALD, THIS WAS NOT YOURS TO FIND.” The image of Tomar began to move, he chuckled then threw his wives head at the screen and cracked it. He picked it back up and repeated the process until the head finally flew through the screen and landed in my lap. Jaxxy’s head looked up at me and let out the scream I had heard earlier. Tomar followed the head through the screen. He was clutching a cement block. He began to yell at me and I begged him to leave me alone but he wouldn’t stop yelling racial slurs and his eyes began to bleed. He slammed the brick against my head and I blacked out. When I woke back up, there was no blood and no gem. Only the laptop that would no longer turn on. I threw the laptop in the dumpster and never saw it again. Sometimes I can still hear the screams and when I dream I can still see Tomar holding his wives head.

ACTUALLY I loved the Tails/Eggman levels as a kid
But I get why a lot of people didn't. Still, 10 year old me thought it was fun as fuck to steamroll through bases blowing up a hundred robots. And it was cool to finally get to play as Eggman, even if he made that annoying "YUH" sound every time you jump.

I genuinely like Tails as a character throughout the series. While i'd rather play Tails as, well, Tails I still think the shooter levels were waaay better than late game treasure hunting levels. Anyone that says they like Aquatic mine, security hall and Mad Space are psychopaths.

I always find the discussion about music descriptors really interesting. I think I tend to think of things very abstractly so those words just make sense to me somehow. Warm, cold, open, wide, etc. make sense to me because the music invokes those feelings in my mind when I hear it. I'm not sure if that makes sense but I think it really comes down to how you categorize information mentally.
Zack is right about the 4% bigger eye. Humans are hardwired to notice these small details because it appears "inhuman" almost like uncanny valley. It's like with a lot of women having a slightly bigger boob on the left side because of the heart pumping blood in close vicinity but thats not readily apparent, as they are hidden most of the time. Eyes on the other hand are almost always directly in sight.
The Tomar Emeralds are the things keeping this channel alive and giving it POWER.

My Uncle Fungini lost his libido while acquiring the fourth Tomar Emerald, he had to draw an alchemy circle of Tomar and sacrifice something of himself in order to gain it from the Gate of Tomomomar. Well atleast my uncle won't want to have his 'fungini time' with me anymore so I'm thankful for this Tomar emerald, it sacrificed one live in order to save another :D

Me and my little brother rented flight of the navigator from Hollywood video like 3 or 4 times when we were kids.
Played Sonic along with this just to see how far I could get before the video ended. Got to labyrinth zone around 26:40 then got a game over and gave up because fuck this game.
