California is both a “Stand Your Ground” and “Castle Doctrine” state. “Stand Your Ground” means that if someone is threatening you or someone else, you or under no duty to retreat if you wish to claim self defense. You are allowed to remain present and defend yourself, no matter what.
Today's starts with a zoo vibe. And then a mating ritual with... removing nits? Mass migration of the herd. To the watering hole? The verdant savannah?
What I think would be an interesting experiment. Have two cameras one hidden, start off recording from the hidden one. You just stand there looking around. Capture how no one will even notice you, let alone cause a scene about you being there. Then pull out your public camera, now we see how people are suddenly offended that you're showing them that you are recording in a public space. Despite any number of security cameras, smart devices or other privacy invading technology that is constantly around us in public (and private) daily. It's funny how no one cares about their privacy because "they have nothing to hide" until a person stands on a public street corner showing them that they can be recorded. The cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy is an epidemic.
