Gotta be in a country where tornadoes are a rare occurrence to call it “spectacular”. They even added the same sound effects for every scene. Unbelievable
You're just spoiled.
Maybe its less spectacular when the building don't fly away like in America, they build it strong down here in the netherlands
You gotta give creddit to our own Harry V.H
Actually it has nothing to do with how buildings are constructed. It only depends on how strong or violent the tornado is. The tornado featured in this video looks to be a low end ef-2 or an ef-1. Ef-4 tornadoes have long been documented in countries like Germany, France and the Czech republic. Tornadoes like the one seen in this video barely do much to American homes either beside some window and roof damage. And trees only fall over or fly away in tornadoes like this if they are shallow-rooted.
Hello from Moore Oklahoma. Nice little cute tornado you got there with sound effects.
okay if someone here now thinks he is being dumb or something..search up Moore oklahoma Tornado, then you see why!!!!
Still a big deal in the Netherlands.
4 out of 10 Oklahomans are born in storm cellars.
As it so happens, severe tornadoes (as in at least F3) do happen in the Netherlands. The 1925 Neede tornado was of the sort that blew stone houses off of their foundation, and is generally (in retrospect) believed by meteorologists to have been an F4 tornado. The '27 Borculo storm, that destroyed the village it was named after, might well have been an F3/F4 although there's some speculation it was a severe downburst. The 1950 Veluwe Tornado is harder to peg, because it mostly hit trees, despite the 48 km trail that was 1400 meters wide at places. It was at least F3 possibly F4. Finally there's the (at least) 2 F3 tornadoes of Chaam and Tricht.
Now keep in mind that The Netherlands is rather small (16.000 sqm) so the amount of severe tornadoes per land area per year isn't exactly low.
Be more incredible without the fake sound of wind or the using of the same wind sound for each clip. Busted
Despite the fake wind sound add-on - the videos were very cool to watch. Thanks for sharing!!
In Germany, all tornados are engineered to sound exactly the same.
byugrad1024 Germany? Nope. The Netherlands my dude.
In germany is crazy ner
you utter fool! german science is the world's greatest!
In Germany... Yeah, Oklahoma also is part of Mexico, isn't it?
@@Lightningchase1973 exactly.... And paris is secretly a city in india...
In my opinion this is one of the best videos of being close/ inside a tornado
Sound effects sold separately.

Greetings from Tornado Alley. That was a CUTE little Dutch tornado.
+poetcomic1: German? Nah Dutch :-)
From The Netherlands xD
vergeef mijn onwetendheid
That's Dutch you chop. Tornado blew your IQ away
i live there i whas in the F3 tornado last week my roof is gone right now but its going to be fixed soon
I’m a trained spotter and hobby chaser and I’ve said many times that tornados do NOT sound like freight trains They sound just like what they are; gigantic wind tunnels. The large ones roar.🤔
And to nobody's surprise, this video inspired numerous comments from a lot of adolescent boys from the midwest about how insignificant this tornado is compared to the big tough ones that happen where they come from , and how that makes them big and tough too.
I have lived in Kansas for 70 yrs and never had a tornado or seen any. The mass majority never live to see tornados here...sorry, you lose tough guy!!!
This is the same audio from the Wizard of OZ in the tornado scene when Dorothy was running back home. Lol
Did anyone else see the person in the screened in porch??
and that he looked around and then ran for the hills? yes.
Yos
Aww horribly scary, the sounds of the wind, I am here saying please let the house be safe.....So glad it was spared Hope's all was safe in Jesus name 🖐🏽🖐🏽🖐🏽🖐🏽🏆🏆🏆🏆
I'm not certain if that qualifies as a dust devil. But in the US, it is just a rotating gust of wind.
This gale tornado with winds 70 mph or 110 kph can still do damage. Imagine if it had been large wedge f3 or f4 tonado that are common in the US. These houses would be a distance memory.
In the Netherlands I supposed this is a "spectacular tornado" but you can clean up this shit with a chainsaw and a broom. Spectacular would be a tornado common to Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. The 2 mile wide violent monsters that take whole buildings and neighborhoods down to the foundation...that's "spectacular." I've seen dust devils in West Texas that make this look like a mild gust.
2:25 glass distorsion
Imagine the pressure on the glass
That sound effect were pretty good. SHould of added some flying cows and sharks for visual effects. lol
I still can't believe I wasted two hours on that dumb-ass movie. The plot summary was so stupid it leaves me speechless, and Helen Hunt, for the sake of her reputation, should have passed up that role.
msr111 🤣🤣😂
@@msr1116 actually, i found twister to be an exceptionally well made film. The acting was great. Probably Helen Hunts best performance. I loved it as a child and just watched it again. it really is a great movie.
MSNBC weather.
I saw Twister while I was Temporary Duty in Belgium @ Supreme Headquarters, allied Power Europe @ the base theater. From Alabama, I walked out thinking “Yes that’s the way it is back home.
Geweldige beelden zeg!
Bedankt voor het uploadden.
Tijd dat nederland es wakker wordt en niet denkt ver van me bed show.
Lose the fake audio and let the video speak for itself
O Wen` true
O Wen` some do have auto
I mean audio
Well if you speak dutch which you dont you could have seen in the bottom right corner that they said that the audio has been put there as a support for the video
Exactly
Dang! That wind nearly tipped-over that bicycle!
Lol, i noticed that too.
Lol
My countrymen from the mid west are steeped in tornado anatomy, not by choice, but by living it year in and out. Being from N.C. I have only experienced 2 in my 52 years. A dust devil F1ish type and a F4 in 1989 and that was I need to know about tornados. That was the most evil ungodly noise I've ever experienced. I knew I was a goner. Don't ask how, I believe a little cat type scratch is all I sustained.
Adding the sound effects was
really, really tacky.
Shame. 👎
dan wile look at 0:20 and go translate it, its a dutch video NOT german so don’t get that wrong either
@@simon_5020
That has nothing to do
with tacky sound effects.
Dutch, German, penguins,
whatever.
Pity, too.
Some dramatic video ruined
by bad production.
This is some TV channel in the middle of nowhere. Its for the old people watching to understand it better.
dan wile since the video’s don’t have sound.
Exactly.
Well, that's the first time and I'm happy to say, that I have heard a tornado. I have often wondered what they sound like. VERY SCARY!
I've been chasing storms since 1997. Tornados will have a distinctively different sound depending on how big/strong they are and what terrain they are traversing. Yes, that means a tornado going across farmland will sound different than the same tornado when it encounters a forest and then different again when it encounters structure. It has to do with the debris clouds that form with each type of terrain the tornado moves over. Mostly though, it just sounds like a big roar on the largest/strongest tornadoes, no matter the terrain. Here's a typical example of a large and powerful tornado over farm land: czcams.com/video/RpnNz2dJ0R0/video.html
Here's one hitting a fringe suburban area: czcams.com/video/0LVMg6XNOB8/video.html
Here is a truly terrifying direct hit on a house by an EF4 rated twister: czcams.com/video/Rk5Y2biSpog/video.html
Over a forest a strong one sounds like a saw , but the all have a waterfall or jet like sound to me Ive only seen a few but even weak ones seem to have an impressive sound I yet to have it sound like this audio clip
Rumor has it,this tornado caused over $250 in total damages and injured a stray dog
@ZionHillCalling like you ever specified it was in the Netherlands?how is any REAL country supposed to know this was in a little country nobody cares about?you silly bitch..thats the American equivalent to what ever the fuck you just called me btw
3HirDeYe-illuminated Klutch.T are you realy als dumb als you sound, o so sorry i forgot That in a real country they have real idiots.
Ok, when are you going to show the spectacular part.
Glad that I live in Belgium. That's not a tornado, if you live in America you have to be worried. There a tornado destroys a whole house. We have no tornado, no big earthquakes, no volcano erruption. When someone see a storm of this in belgium it is sensation because this the biggest storm we have
The Netherlands actually does get its fair share of big tornadoes too. F3 and F4 for sure, and possibly all the way up to F5s. But since the country is post-stamp sized, these occur only couple of times per century. I don't know exactly how the amount of tornadoes/sq km/year relates but I wouldn't be too quickly assume it's much lower than the average on tornado alley. Especially if you correct for all the hot air from those Merkins who automatically assume everything is bigger where they live.
'25 Borculo F3/F4
'27 Neede F4
'50 Veluwe F3/F4
'67 Chaam/Tricht F3
Also, F-1 tornadoes can cause serious injuries & even fatalities, especially in the southern USA, where many people are too poor to afford a well-constructed, wood frame home, so they live in trailers, 'mobile homes' & other weak structures that you don't see very often in northern Europe. Unfortunately, the weak tornadoes that residents of the USA sloughed-off in this comment section actually represent a far greater danger to many people in their own country than to residents in the Netherlands.
@@derekbaker3279 The deadliest recorded Dutch tornado was probably a F1 and it wasn't even touched down. It tore the wing of a plane, and killed 18 people. This was in Moerdijk in 1981. I agree that there is no such thing as a safe tornado.
I read a bit more on tornado in the mean time, and I would argue now that Tornado Ally is a bit of a abomination. AFAICT it's not even the higher amount of tornadoes, but the fact that they are far more stable than they are around here. So they last longer and have more potential to become monstrous.
@@Marinus_Calamari Very interesting info re: deadly tornado in the Netherland. A unique & terrible tragedy!👍Traditional "Tornado Alley" represents a region that does indeed get more than an average number of tornadoes each year, however there is a tendency for less-informed people to incorrectly assume that tornadoes do not occur on a frequent basis outside the arbitrary boundaries of traditional Tornado Alley. The best example is a less-known area, known as "Dixie Alley", which sees a higher than average number of tornadoes each year, with a peak in activity usually occurring during the late winter/early spring. In addition to a different peak in activity, tornadoes in Dixie Alley tend to be less visible, because they're often wrapped in rain quite often, the terrain in Dixie Alley is much more hilly with a lot of forests, and a significant percentage of tornadoes in Dixie Alley form & do damage during the evening, or even overnight (..including the most violent, destructive ones...) This limits storm spotters'/storm chasers' chances of getting the sorts of spectacular photos that come from events in traditional Tornado Alley, so Dixie Alley tends to get less coverage from national/international media. Sadly, because there are a lot more poor living in weak structures (trailers, mobile homes, 'manufactured homes') in rural areas, plus the less-visible & often nocturnal nature of Dixie Alley tornadoes, the casualty rate with Dixie Alley tornadoes is even higher than what is observed in traditional Tornado Alley.
Good video! 👍🏼 Greetz
At least we knew when it was about to appear! o-:
JERRY TAHA AVIATION it's added! You little dipshit. They told It in the video!
It’s not fake audio. Don’t you know that’s how the wind sounds in in german?!😂
Raul Viera this is not Germany. This is the Netherlands.
JERRY TAHA AVIATION the audio is real have you ever lived through an F3 I have in the 1990s in Salina KANSAS
This consistency in sound of that thing is incredible. A lot of footage you don't hear what the tornado actually sounds like. Very good visuals l, too👍
the sound is added, its fake
Damn good footage. Thanks for sharing.
No offense, but the fake audio is a real turnoff...and really doesn't sound like any tornado I have heard (and I have heard more than a few).
Listen closely. Its in stereo even!! ROFLMAO!!
Doug Harlow 0:20 go translate it, its added for support and they even say it cause dutch video’s are not shit as some english video’s where they dont even tell you they added fake sound
Yeah, sounds more like a blizzard than a tornado.
Its just when europeans see a whirpool and they think its a tornado. Make videos even the news shows it. I know im from europe xddd
And besides the pitiful audio, I never DID see a "spectacular" tornado.. Here in Iowa, that would just be a windy day! 😁
Need more camera angles and more cowbell!
Hahaha
🤣🤣🤣
For everyone talking about the fake audio.
At 0:20 it says (in dutch) "audio was added for support"
Also, yes it's not very strong compaired to the stuff in USA
But we don't get many tornadoes in the netherlands and when we do, they're really weak / little ones.
Nothing beats the power of the STIHL leaf blower.
love the same sound track played on each vid
Can I have some chips with that cheese?? Hoolee...the looping sound effect is sharp cheddar cheese!!! 99% of Surveillance cameras don't have audio and you managed to find multiple! ROFLMAO!! In 2ch stereo even!! LOL!!!!!!
TexasTimelapse Hahaha
The fake, "scary" audio is just stupid. Leave the clip as is. Broken glass sound effects? Smh...
A rain wrapped dust devil. Seriously. Awesome footage.
That's the smallest tornado I can ever think of
Great video footage.
Strong EF0-weak EF1, maybe? Sounds inauthentic, though. 🤷♂️
That tornado just wanted to be on camera. It found every single one.
That sound is awesome!!
When the film starts they mention in dutch that the sound is added 😂
aan de duimpjes te zien heeft Heusden zo'n 500 inwoners ;-)
Was that the White Noise app providing the soundtrack?
Lol! That sounds like a blizzard.
Lucky for them that was a tiny nothing spectacular about it twisted.
2:42 those poor horses in the background! Hope they made it through ok!
Zonder geluid al spannend genoeg. 🙀
Very beautiful footage
Those tornadoes seemed very polite, they didn’t seem interested in demolishing buildings only trees.
I shouldn’t criticise to much cause I wouldn’t like to be hit by one if I was outside.
I thought it was kinda cool showing the different security footage. Almost like following it from ground level.
And, yes, loose the sound effects.
Hope the horses are ok. If I was that guy, who went running, that whole tornado would have turned brown and the country would have sh*t falling from the sky for a month.
That was a TINY ASS tornado! More like a wind tantrum that lasted seconds....hardly a tornado.
it sounds as if it were / was a snow storm, and not a twister, ty,i remember i was going to look if Netflix has twister
The sound effects had me laughing 😂
Lol
Is the stereo audio on my device backwards? Sound travels reverse of the tornado....
Aww I used to play in those when i was a kid.
Wat is het nu, een tornado of een windhoos?
The audio is of a real tornado. Just not sure if it’s the one on the videos. However they sound like this only 1,000 times louder.
I love this video
And that was just an EF0/1 tornado. Imagine a stronger one.
Is dit in Nederland
Where is Heusden?
That Dude in the very beginning running like Hell across the parking lot when he heard the thing.😆I’ll bet he never ran so fast in his life!
The sounds are terrificant
Like muito bom, 👍✌😁😇
That had to be a F-0 tornado. I don't think it was strong enough or do enough damage to be a F1. Still that was pretty cool.
That is NOT what a tornado sounds like
netherlands?
I've been in straight line winds in Tennessee that were worse than this thing. Looks like a strong dust devil at most.
The midwest tornadoes would eat that tornado for breakfast!!!!
Europe can get strong, powerful tornadoes like the Midwest or Tornado Alley.
Did add in sound effects?
The sound is so amazing 😀
I've heard that same wind sound in every western ever made... yippy ky yay
Cute little EF-0 tornado with cute little sound effect that I would have added too...in my 3rd grade science project.
ik heb geliked en geabonneerd
Interesting video, but that was the same audio dubbed into all or at least three of them.
Severely underwhelming...!...To say the least .
man, that audio was ultra-realistic...…..no really
Amazing sound
I hope 🤞 nobody got hurt or killed or injured 🤕 during the tornado 🌪
Tornado says , Why not take a selfie as I pass through. Atta boy to the person who installed the cameras.
Where was the tornado?
I wish our PNW winter wind storms were that mild
The person in the house was not unimpressed. They were probably not expecting it.
nep geluid had je voor mij er niet bij hoeven doen... of er niet bij zetten ;)
prachtige beelden... en zeker met die boom bij dat schuurtje. Knakt als een bamboestokje bizar...
That's nothing compared to the Parkersburg, Iowa tornado in 2008 that home would've been nothing but foundation and rubble.
Tornadoes dont sound like a train, they sound windy as hell not a train!! Where do people get that idea from??
Call that a tornado? We call that a windy day in the Midwest.
Excellent video. Thanks for posting it.
Yeah, replace the soundtrack with the theme from The Benny Hill Show.
Yeah, I just imagined it in my head...very funny!
Audio FAKE! and that “tornado” barely did anything. Ummmm, El Reno tornado???
rvarnum YES...I love it!! It always makes me feel old when I reference Benny Hill theme music & someone says: ”Who?” Sadly, they are missing out!! When I was a little girl staying up late on the weekends, when I first stumbled across the show for the 1st time, made me feel like I'd found something SO filthy. By today's standards, that was NOTHING!! 😜
Cool
LMFAO... Fucking by the third vid it's like "boy howdy...all these dadburn ternaydoes sound alike dadgummit"..😜
Agree with the fake audio. But you cannot always see a tornado on the ground if it hasn’t picked up much dust and debris. So be aware.
Nice sound effects!!!!Funny how they all sounded the same?
A FORÇA do vento é incrivel
EF-1?
What's the deal with the fake audio on this video?
2018?
Where is the tornado??
Is that a tornado?
