I highly recommend the green slime. I actually had a puncture but use the green slime added a little extra and haven't had any puncture issues since. On the downside though it seemed like it made the tire a little bit more stiff unless soft for bumpy ride but well worth the trade off for constant tire replacements due to punctures.
Great review and editing. Thank you!
Very kind of you to say this! Thank you for your support!
Love ur vid about Eagle One ,keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Just received my eagle one/zero 10X scooter yesterday and WOW the power this thing has is crazy I am used to my ninebot max scooter and the eagle one is a whole different animal when you have it on max speed you better hang on because it wants to go now. Its like a tesla P100D on Ludacris setting and the hydraulic brakes are amazing stops on a dime. The suspension and ride is just awesome !!!
Hahaha, exactly the same excitement that I felt when testing. Indeed - the suspension is crazy good! And acceleration... oh my!!! Just be extra careful.
Thank you good comments. How is it on steep hills?
@@nicolasmaximus2286 Ok up hill but I would not recommend any of the Varla scooters because they use very cheap batteries with a one year warranty and after that year they will start to die and it will cost you $500 to replace the battery !!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review
Love the Varla! 😍
Me tooo!
Same thing, I just love my Varla) ❤️🔥
Very cool that it comes with optional Grip tapes
Yeah! Love the designs.
Good video bruh 👏👏
Thanks 💯
Right now, l have the Hiboy S2 Max, and this is my next scooter.
Sounds like you are about to have a lot of fun 😊
Hey man another good video right there! This scooter has a lot of names by the way :D Zero 10x, Duotts 10, Xtron x 10, oh and Kuugo Kirin G 1 , this scooter has become very popular , oh and i think Janobike buy their scooter from them too , i think the original supplier maybe Xtron or Zero not sure. I can buy this in my country the same price , but with LG battery , 1 more important thing! Never buy a scooter with Chinese battery , usually use LG, with Chinese the battery power will drop 45% in only 1 year !
Yeah, it is the same as the Zero10x.
Agreed about the battery thing!
How do you know if your batteries are Chinese? Does Varla have those? I definitely want longevity.
@@lawjye4169 U never know that's a huge problem ,I saw a video in nami scooter should samsung ,they popped the scooter and what u saw? IT WAS LG :DDDDD so yeah ,hard to know it for sure.
I have a question to you and other people who might own one of these. Has. One of the gripes/features that gets mentioned is the steering detent at the center point of travel. I wonder if someone might have hacked this feature to remove it? I’ve not to read a review yet that really enjoyed this design choice. I have one of these on order and am now just stuck reading reviews to fill the hole til it arrives. Thanks for taking the time to do this review.
It felt stiffer in the first kilometers. But after 60-70 offroad kilometers - I no longer notice it. I think it's now almost gone, as I don't notice it even if I switch from another scooter to it.
Its exactly the same as my zero 10x just rebranded.
Yeah, the are almost the same.
The right lever always controls the front brake on motorcycles i have rode.
yeah left is a clutch lmfao ppl are wild, and backs foot :L
I think the brake for the front on the right is correct for this. On motorcycles left is clutch and right is the front brake where the throttle is located.
Sounds like a reasonable explanation. Thanks!
agreed
Yeah be careful i flew off this monster lol
On most bicycles right stronger hands & break.
Left hand is generally weaker. Ok?
When did you buy it and how fast was shiped and delivered?🤔also i was between this varla vs the mantis 8 or 10...not sure wich one is better!!!
i just purchased the eagle one 20 minutes ago just pull the trigger!!
@@robaydin really a second one?i was watching your video..when are they gonna ship it out,any date aprox?
At the time I got mine order it was pretty fast. But I remember seeing them out of stock few weeks before that.
Shipping these days takes longer than what it used to... But once mine was shipped - it arrived within 10 days.
Older kids love it
👍
Hi i got a question this Varla eagle one and Zero 10× do you think they are the same because they look the same and which one is better too what do you thinks...
I cannot confirm for sure - but I believe they are almost the same. I guess - you can buy whichever one has better price or you expect to get better warranty service.
I'm trying to decide between this or apollo ghost which do you recommend
Varla to keep and ghost to sell afterwards
Since you"re living in Bulgaria. Where in Bulgaria you could buy the Varla Eagle One, since as far as I know here it is Zero 10X only.
Would be awesome if you could also review the Vsett 9+
I think you can just order the varla eagle one
@@thebelgianlad3813 nah, in the EU I don't think it's possible. There is only the two variants of the Zero 10X, with the 52V and 60V baterry.
@@aks13v35 no it is possible cuz i litterly ordered the varla eagle one last thursday ;)
Hi dude, I have compared three models like you before: Zero 10X; Vsett 10+ ; Varla Eagel one; from price to suspension, I just order the eagle one in Belgium. Estimated to receive it next week.
@@echoj7322 i live in Belgium too and I ordered the varla eagle one but refunded it cuz i found out their are such silly laws and regulations in Belgium..you need a plate and license for the varla eagle one and even then its to fast cuz i tought the max allowed speed is 45km if you have a license and plate -_-
It looks like you have the same exact LCD display I do on my Evercross HB24, so just after one bar blinks and then goes out on the battery display (maybe 2/3 to 3/4 battery life left) my Evercross has totally died after 7 miles on the first two trips. It says the range is 25 miles which probably was not pushing it as hard as I did. The first trip was slightly downhill, but with full lights. I lost power after about a mile on the slightly uphill portion. The second trip had some decent climbs and luckily I lost power on the downhill side. Is the battery display pointless or do I have a defect in that and/or the scooter itself?
this scooter is a rebrand from the ZO05, the brand is zondoo.
Sounds like the battery kit is not quite OK, unless you've been riding uphills at the max speed.
The battery level indicator is usually measuring the voltage and based on that - it shows the bars. Sometimes, when you stop and let the battery chill a bit, the voltage may go up temporarily (by no more than 0.5 - 1 volt). So - it is trustworthy as long as you get used to it.
25 miles ? Lol,thats piss poor. My zero 10x gets 80 miles on a full charge.
@@IDGAF56852 when you overcharge it right ? thats the way to kill the battery. if tha bat is 60V, charge it to 60V, not 65 - 67V.
Any idea where the bleeder valve is on the actual caliper? Trying to perform a full brake bleed
Haven't done this yet, mate, so I don't know.
Should be on the back of the caliper. You can Crack it and do a gravity bleed..my front was mushy out of the box so I'll be doing it soon.
AKA Zero 10x, AKA Apollo Pro, AKA Macury Speedual, AKA EVOLV Pro, AKA Turbowheel lightning, AKA Unicool 10 Inch, etc. etc....
AND THEIR ALL RUBBISH..................

@Eminent Mindset - which is the part that broke?
Decent
It is indeed.
Ik its late but have you made or can you make a video about changing the tube if busted.
I haven't. It is no different to any other scooter with this tire size.
I cant not set cruich control on my xiaom pro 2 der is not a boks where i cant click on off plz help
You are not going to like what I'll say - but you won't be able to... Some new European regulations prohibit it, so ... it's gone for good.
Hello.... I just tried P-11 setting 3, 4, and 5 for regenerative braking and it is not working at all. Level 3 was working and then just stopped working. Any idea how to fix this? I am not the least bit impressed by Varla, or their lack of customer service. I feel scammed out of my hard earned money to be honest. Their customer service is garbage.
Hey mate, thanks for the comment.
I haven't been playing with this setting. I know that there are some models where once you change one of these settings, it cannot go back to the default valued due to firmware bugs. Not sure if it is the same case with the Eagle One.
I think that if you regularly follow up with the support - you will eventually get response from someone qualified to really help.
Are these good in water? I see some videos here saying it seizes up in light rain.
Better avoid water and rain.
It's a coinflip when buying from China. I ended up getting sent a broken scooter, and after contacting support, they just sent me broken replacement parts. Its been a nightmare putting in the hours installing the new parts just to discover they are also broken.
This is nightmare 😲
hmmmmm, I dont see the link for the Full Face Helmet you said you would be down there.
Heey, thanks so much for this reminding comment. Added now. It's MET Parachute HES Full Face Helmet. Got it from bike24.com.
Hi, really cool video, thanks! What’s the battery life on this scooter?
Depends on how much you push it. Can be 20km, can be 60 :>
Great review 👍

How long does it take to receive this after ordering?
It took me about three to four days to get mine
Varla scooter complaints...
I just got my Varla EagleOne scooter a couple days ago and have less than 20 miles on it. I do have a couple complaints but they don’t outweigh the good things about it. I love the ride quality, it’s very comfortable, it’s very torquey on acceleration even using eco mode. I also Lobe the power of the brakes (even on the steepest hills in San Francisco), although they said on their site that they were anti lock brakes, I’m not sure at what speed, but it seems I was able to lock the rear tire a few times coming into deliberately hard stops for testing.
Some of my complaints may not be the same with other people, but
1. Ever since I received the scooter, the rear wheel squeaks every revolution at lower speeds from walking it to up to about 7 mph, and it’s a little annoying. I had submitted a review on the Varla site but see that they must filter out any negatives because my comments never showed up (even though I was giving them a four out of five rating). It seems as if the squeaking is brake pads related.
2. Varla claims that the scooter will travel at speeds of 40+ mph, but even at what I feel an average weight of 185lbs, on flat level smooth ground average temperature day, I can’t get the scooter past 35 mph--that is actually quite fast, but definitely falls far short of their claims of 40+
3. I’ve seemed to have a little trouble with the double locking clamps for the fold down procedure. I think there could be a much better way for engineering the locking of the sleeve that needs to be lifted for fold down the handlebars. Every time I get one side really tight, then the other on is loose, you tighten that one and it’s clamped harder so that the first one needs to be tightened MORE than before. It’s seems a little inconvenient to be transporting it once a day in your car just because of the clamping that has to be delt with. In all fairness it’s not HARD to do, but to get them right takes a few tries and a little longer than just simply latching something. I’ve found if they’re not really tight then the handle bar stem/pole slightly moves back and forth upon acceleration and deceleration, and makes a rubbing sound.
4. I’m not happy with the lighting on the scooter. It does look cool from the front and rear, but certainly doesn’t provide enough light for you to have a safe night travel. You will be seen, but the lights just don’t light up your path well enough.
5. Im not happy with the fact that the folding down of the handle bars have no place to latch it in the down position., they just kind of swing or sway left and right while down.
Things to note:
1. it would have been nice to have a USB port to charge your phone, and an option for a phone holder.
2. It would have been nice ce to have solid rubber tires to illuminate all possibility of a flat tire
3. A battery percentage indicator would have been nice opposed to just a 5 bar indicator, and I’ve found that the last bar never gets consumed, the scooter dies prior to depleting the last bar., this can leave you hanging a little bit not knowing exactly how much farther you can go. ☹️
4. I feel that the scooter should have come standard with a top mounted headlight instead of charging $60 afterwards
5. Engineering on the sliding sleeve for the folding down of the handlebars should be improved, i.e. A threaded sleeve that clamps down when you twist it.
6. A thin strip of side lighting would have been a nice added Saftey feature
7. NOTE: this scooter DOES give you a great value for the dollar amount ($1699.00), even though I have some complaints, and am unhappy about a couple things, doesn’t mean I am unhappy overall with the scooter--I’m just unhappy about some things. I DON’T REALLY SEE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE SCOOTERS AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET TO GET YOU THIS MUCH SCOOTER FOR THE PRICE.
I have been having a blast through the streets of San Francisco and traveling anywhere cars, bicycles or people can go, and discovering small little cool places that I ever knew were there going by in my car. Just today, I rode the EagleOne from downtown financial district San Francisco, all the way to and over the Golden Gate Bridge, down the hill into and all over the city of Sausalito, brought the EagleOne back the entire distance and still had another couple miles left. (Traveled with my 5 year old daughter the entire way bringing us to a total FUN RIDE of 28 miles!! We only turbo boosted a couple times, but we’re in ECO mode the entire trip.
Even with my complaints and suggestions, I give this scooter an overall rating of 4 out of 5. If you decide to get one, you will have made the right choice! :-)
I have the same problem with my rear tire. I weigh 145 and when traveling WITH the wind I'm able to basically hit 39-40 mph. Going against the wind I get 33-36. Still so much fun and fast and I recommend. I got almost 100 miles on mine so far.
Thanks for taking the time to share all that! I hope more people will be able to read it.
Bro you literally copy/paste this on every video you can find. 🤡
Hey, do you ever sell your scooters after a review, Wink! 😅
Hey Ola - sometimes I do, sometimes they end up with a friend that may need one.
Sadly - heavy devices are pretty expensive to be shipped out of my country.
I got 11x2 months old for sale 2300 got more in it
@@TechMishka oh, well i would pay the shipping ofc ;)
How common is a flat tire? I ride in boston, roads only, sometimes bumpy asf
Perhaps Boston is a place where flat tires are inlikely to happen.
If you ride a motorcycle the front brake is on the right, clutch on the left. So really that's the way it should be.
I can agree. Do disagree 🤠 But it is a good reason
How fast this go up to again?
Very! You can go beyond 50km/h
Received an Eagle One yesterday. The right brake doesn’t work out of the box. It has no pressure at all so I’m assuming the hydraulic brake needs to be bled or have mineral oil added. I let Varla know about the issue, sent video. They acknowledged the issue and did NOTHING to try and make it right. Said, “thanks for your understanding” which I guess is a nice way of saying piss off. People need to know their support is terrible and I would assume the warranty is worthless and they have similar tactic for any problems you may have. Keep in mind this is brand new out of the box and reported to them the morning after the scooter arrived.
Hey Dave, so sorry to hear about your experience. And I hope that they will eventually follow up on the matter.
Since the brakes are very similar to bike brakes - this is fluid and if there was some air somewhere, or a minor leak - could have caused the situation. Had exactly the same issue after folding my bike the other day and had it fixed for 7 bucks.
Same zero 10 scooter
I believe you mean 10X. Yeah, they are quite similar.
Why would you rather have the front brake on the left side? With all mopeds scooters and motorcycles it’s on the right I think. I think that will cause confusing to many and will be dangerous
(Edit) overall a very good review! I’m looking for the best e scooter under €2000, and its very hard to make a choice
Thanks Jay for the comment. Well - looks like it varies from country to country. Mountain bikes over here have exactly these controls, and if you are used to that, you may get it wrong with the scooter. So I guess - whatever you are used to.
Completely agree, my brother bought a bike from Poland, nice bike but set up the wrong way round, doesn't make sense.
jay patron- motorcycles have the front brake on the right because the clutch is on the left and the rear brake is on the right foot. if both brakes are on the handlebars like a bicycle it is customary to have the front brake on the left and the rear brake on the right with no foot brake or clutch.
@@marzsit9833 this!!! It’s horseshit they put it on the right
Are replacement batteries available?
Yes, they are.
Hi, what happen under the rain?
It will survive. Just avoid heavy rain.
Why doesn't anyone just put the box on it's side and slowly pull the scooter out Vs picking up lead. Geeeeze
Hahahahah 🙃🙃🙃🙃 Habits!!
Fuck local regulations I bought it im riding it 😎
hahahahah 😎😎😎
I don't think this is waterproof, I think you meant water-resistant ;-)
You are right! My bad.
what is the top speed ?
40 mph
I was thinking of getting this scooter for when I replace my e move cruiser. Now not so much, the roads around here in Maryland are much narrower then in California. When it comes down to it I came to the conclusion that I need a scooter that'll keep up with the posted 45 mph speed limit. The current scooters I'm looking at have hydraulic brakes and disc brakes, go up to 55 mph and up to 60 miles.
Please be careful with these extremely fast scooters. THis can sometimes be dangerous.
@@TechMishka I appreciate the concern, this I'm taking into account by researching the best motorcycle helmets, gloves, knee and shoulder pads for the price without sacrificing quality.
Lamest comment tbh.. just get a motorcycle than.. scooters don't require a license and who'd be foolish enough to ride their scooter alongside traffic.. lol

They are very similar, but not entirely the same.
BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. People you need to know that customer service & technical support is non-existant. Once they get your $1600 you're screwed. They do not answer their phone number. They also do not respond to emails either. They claim US support yet the voice-mail lady has a British accent.Their online reviews are fake and screened as you will see they only allow 5 star reviews to be posted. They do not publish any negative reviews less than 5 stars. Im just trying to help future potential customers out. If you want to find out the hard way like myself then pull the trigger and purchase. Also read the warranty details, it is worded very cleverly. Not really a 2 year warranty as advertised.

The last few days are just before the holidays in China and a lot of people are on holidays...
Most scooters you'll get online arrive with similar warranty terms.
What kind of issue did you get?
