Thanks!
@@emergencyawesome your welcome keep the good work.
I have the QR code in my vid for the book and I captured the films costumes
@@emergencyawesome will you be doing videos for star trek picard season 3? It's the full cast of tng back for one more epic season
Massive props to Jonathan Majors performance, I could really feel his anger and frustration. He was a definitive highlight in the movie. Also the Council of Kangs scene made me very hyped about Kang, the Kangs seemed almost excited for war against the Avengers which in itself is frightening
The true fight for Kang is against Mickey Mouse!
Just saw the movie. Majors is a serious scenery chewer. Dude, it's not Lear, it's a Marvel movie. Nonetheless I'm not a superhero movie lover but I give the movie a B. Entertaining.
I think this is a great second experience with the new big bad. The biggest problem I have with the movie is Cassie Lang. The role the writers put her in and her performance where terrible to me. I believe the antman series with idiot prison sidekicks was missed a bit but overall a great set up thx to kang.
B-
It’s not that serious.
@@briankoepke9891 🤡
Kangs tone throughout this movie was spot on. Every time he spoke it felt serious looking forward to his future in the MCU and seeing all the versions they bring to the big screen!
That line “I AM KANG!” Gave me huge goosebumps. Marvel has yet again crushed it with casting and I’ve been saying it since love craft country, theres something about this Jonathan Majors guy he has IT.
@@Bwayko fukn facts since love craft that really showed his talent. Love his facial expressions he makes they flow well with his tones at all times
I know I loved Kang he was such a badass in this movie when he just flicks scott and hope like ants lol he has a very thanos esque demeaner
His seriousness was very much appreciated. MCU needs tension.
I AM KANG!
He definitely did not die, there was so much forshadowing of him getting his revenge, he’s definitely coming back much stronger.
Maybe Immortus will actually flip sides and fight against him
I think he’ll be the most powerful because he’s kang he probably fought every variant of himself if he got sent to the same place Scott did, meaning if he didn’t die, he’ll have unprecedented knowledge on how his variants fight alongside his resolve being off the charts as he’d only be more sure he can be the only kang to rule them all.
He could come back with the powers like god emperor doom
If Darren didn’t die, he didn’t die lol
@@thebiggunce except he can’t get out as easily as Scott did, because he doesn’t have Pym particles Scott used to shrink the energy source.
So that’ll buy them some time, but he’s def getting out
Yess as h even ant man questions his death at the end. No way he is dead. The man is coming back stronger.
Scott’s Concern about Kang Arriving at the end of the Film mirrors Tony’s Concern about Thanos arriving. Love the parallel
Exactly. I have always wondered who will be the lead man now that Tony is out. It could be lang or strange. MCU is in need of a lead character right now.
It was 2 perfect!!!!
@@2playschemeo.p.croutes724 ant man might make the ultimate sacrifice like tony did in endgame.
I saw it last night and I thought it was okay, not the best nor the worst. In my opinion, I believe Hope was underdeveloped, but both Majors and Pfeiffer were the stars of the film. I also don't think Kang died; I believe the Victor Timely version is the original Kang from the movie because the explosion sent him there.
Hope has been one of my favorite superheroes for years so I agree on her being underdeveloped
huh , u didnt watch the end credits ?
@@sdqsdq6274 Yes, and I still think it was okay and I still think the Victor Timely variant is Kang from the movie. We have to respect everyone's opinions. Have a great day!
4:23 I think time moves at the same pace in most of the Quantum Realm (which is why Janet aged normally), but there are time vortexes which make time move differently (which is what happened to Ant-Man in Endgame).
Definitely, that's the reason the advance ants were 1000 years older.
Calm and Collected sends red flags when dealing with Kang. That ending fight between him and Scott felt like a boxing match
Reference to his other movie he’ll be in maybe. The next movie is Creed III, which is a boxing movie.
I said the same thing. Scott got his @zz handed to him. That was a touch of "reality". He was nowhere near the power level to fool with Kang. But he tried.
Even without his suit, Kang still menacing. I really thought he’s gonna squash Scott’s head on their final match.
Getting Johnathan Majors ready for Creed 3
@@claymathewselevator8121 this movie might have actually motivated me to revist those movies intime for the 3rd one.
I feel like this was such a great use of MODOK He's such a ridiculous character, and bringing Darren back just made sense never could see Modok being a major villain.
He was crazy!
@@emergencyawesome I know right.
You obviously never read a comic,This was a terrible waste of MODOK u can't be serious....
Thats kinda the joke of MODOK. Nobody can see him as a major villain except himself 😂
It was stupid
every time Jonathan Majors screamed, I smiled. Best villain performance in MCU in a while.
Since Thanos.
@@Bud_Jablonski Thanos and Kilmonger are still the best but looking forward to more Major's Kang.
Man I’m so happy Jonathan Majors is Kang. Phenomenal actor. Kang was workin them boys all movie long. Easily the best villain marvel have had and the first that I actually want to win. Forget the heroes I’m rooting for him to come back and destroy the council of kangs
The best villain that got beat by some oversized ants lol
@Mr.Flupsurf haha right
@@adamjackson8198dude lost to an army of highly intelligent ants and considering ants can lift ten times there body weight and can create technology him losing without his army isn’t bad at all like Ironman or cap would’ve lost far easier then Kang
I love they way they are using him as Victor Timely in the Loki season 2 just based off the end credit.
@@justice_productions_ you’re wrong on all levels
@@justice_productions_a post credit scene from their first and top watched shows. The theater I was in gave a nice reaction when Loki appeared on the screen. Any other show and I'd agree but Loki literally started this whole story arc.
It’s sad to say but as a marvel fan who grew up watching all the movies. I am no longer hyped up for any new movie that comes out. I’m not even going to watch this one. I’m 23 I feel like I’m getting too old for this waiting around 5-6 years of “hype leading up to the movie” shit. I’m DONE 🤣✌🏽

"Look out for the litttle guy" I think is also a clever hint at how significant Ant Man and this film will be come Secret Wars.
When Cassie asked
“What is coming?”
And Kang said
“Me, a lot of me”

Jonathan majors performance as Kang the conquer is the highlight of this entire movie
The introduction of Kang , made this movie. If it was another villain it would had been shit.
I liked your version of Antman 3 better! I was waiting to see a connection to 10 rings and I expected Scott to be stuck in the quantum realm.
I thought he and Hope would b stuck n the quantum realm & they'd b like king & queen
I think his scars are marks for the Counsel of Kang to tell him apart from everyone else if he tries to return and hide amongst the others.
I’m not entirely sure but I’m pretty sure he got them in battle against an avengers team in the previous war.

Great breakdown of the movie, thanks. There was so much going on all over the place it's nice to have this break down so I can see if I missed something. I did love that tag at the end with Loki and Mobeus.
Charlie please answer this man, my question is why do we see more KANG the Conquerors than the other variants ? Like at the end we seen Immortus, Rama Tut, Centurion (hopefully spelling it right), and of course Kang the Conqueror (the one exiled) however at the end all the people in the crowd were mianly in "Kang The Conqueror" apparel and variants. Why didn't we see Ramas, or Immortuses in there. Lastly so is it safte to say we can guess who the youngest Kang in the concil to oldest is based off variant ? Like Rama has to be the youngest and has not ascended to Kang the Conqueror or Immortus level of power yet ? Or did some of the variants just stay the same and never changed ?
Also from the Jimmy Woo cameo scene, they are doing a pay off the joke from the ending of Ant-Man and The Wasp when Jimmy asked Ant-Man if he wanted to grab dinner with him.
When the Ant family serve a small pizza then make it grow into a large pizza, that’s a reference to Back To The Future 2 when Lorrance dehydrated a small pizza to a large pizza
When Hank is trying to start Krylar’s ship and Janet tells him “YOU’LL BE GREAT. IT’S JUST LIKE FLYING A BIKE”, that might be a reference to E.T.
When Cassie is big and smashing Modok, that’s a reference to both The Avengers and Thor Ragnarok, when Hulk smashes both Loki and Thor.
Jonathan majors as kang was freaking fantastic
Emergency Awesome. i been a fan of your and your page for 2 years. I appreciate you alot, and im sure alot of people feel this way, You stayed positive about marvels and Dc and super hero movies. There’s videos where it just says “IT SUUUCKS” on the title and it’s so annoying and frustrating. Absolutely ridiculous the negativity, just for the sake of negativity
My theory on all of this is that the secret wars that He Who Remains was discussing is the exact same one we will be witnessing..it’s all in a time loop and he will end up exactly back in his position at the end of time
That's my theory as well.
I don't know why but ever since i watched Loki i believe doctor strange will end up watching over the timeline he will be the next he who remains, they will end the time loop
It would be so cool if when we look back on every thing that the writers literally told us how everything would end with He Who Remains being the Kang we just saw in antman. But in a strange twist they end up breaking the time loop and fully ridding the multiverse of Kangs
My theory, secret wars will be about how to stop the loop. It'll be a soft reboot to the MCU so we'll get a new captain America, iron man, etc moving forward in phase 7. Just my thoughts.
Interesting theory.
The thing that has me thinking is that when Kang crashes there’s one big light shooting down that splits off into 3 which makes me wonder if the other two that shot off have any importance/significance
Would be crazy if those were the F4 or Doom fighting him back in that war and they all got trapped
If the Council of Kangs are going after those who defeated Kang the Conqueror because they have proven themselves a threat to the Council's power, wouldn't that mean a war against Pim's Advanced Ant Society and not the Avengers? 😏
My theory is The Conqueror will return at the very end of the Kang Dynasty and be the big bad of Secret Wars setting up battleworld, blaming the avengers for keeping him stuck fighting himself in the probability storm, so now they must fight themselves like he did for survival.
The 6 x 11 = 66 Theory:
It's a theory about all of the universes that are canon to the MCU.
Came up with this recently.
I noticed something very interesting, and perhaps purposeful, on Kevin Feige's part when he was releasing installments in Phase 4. First, take the total number of installments released in Phase 4, 17, which includes movies, series, and specials. Then, add every Marvel installment that ever came to theaters and Disney+ both before and during Phase 4. This includes the Captain America serial from 1944, the Red Sonja movie from 1985, the Howard the Duck movie from 1986, the four Men in Black movies, the Blade trilogy, the 13 Fox X-Men universe movies, the Tobey Spider-Man trilogy, Daredevil and Elektra, the Hulk movie from 2003, the Punisher movies from 2003 and 2008, the Fantastic Four movies from 2005, 2007, and 2015, the two Nicolas Cage Ghost Rider movies, the two Kick-Ass movies, the two Andrew Spider-Man movies, Big Hero 6 and Baymax, the three Kingsman movies, the three SPUMC movies (Venom, Let There Be Carnage, and Morbius), and Into the Spider-Verse. The number of installments I mentioned there is 49. Add 17 + 49 and you get 66, which equals 6, the number of installments in Phase 1 and Phase 2 each, times 11, the number of installments in Phase 3. Strange, right? Maybe Kevin did that on purpose, like with Quantumania being the 31st movie.
Here's the crazier thing. Let's list the numbers of installments that each successive phase contains, with Phase 4 including all the alternate universe installments I mentioned.
Phase 1: 6
Phase 2: 6
Phase 3: 11
Phase 4: 66
6 6 11 66
661166
616
I'm willing to bet Kevin hid that as a purposeful teaser for all of the universes that are canon.
Well I finally got to watch this movie with my two sons and honestly I thought it was really good I can see where some of the movie was sort of rushed for the lack of time they had left to show the whole thing but by the end I couldn't help but wonder if they killed the wrong Kang again because he seemed the more sane then the council and the ones shown up at the very end credit
I'm thinking the same way.. I feel like kang the exiled is the one that sees this as a problem and stood against the council.. so they kicked him out because you can't have 1 in disagreement
Saw this today, was great, critics suck. Yeah sure there were a couple of things up with it for sure but it was Antman thru and thru. Majors is Kang for sure, played 5 versions of the guy and I’m in. Stoked for Loki S2 now for sure. Great video Charlie. Well done as always. I do hope that MODOK didn’t die permanently, for a character like that I think they nailed it.
The pacing was really good
Jus seen the movie now that it dropped on disney plus and i personally dont think it was as great as the pervious two but then again i came to expect the comedy aspect that the trio of scott langs friends added to the scenes. Other than that it was a pretty good movie.
Also do you think the avengers movie with the kangs will b broken up into different movies or would it be one movie where the heros have to defeat the kangs at the same time during different parts of the time line? I.e: the fantastic four fighting him at the same time (but differnt era) as when the avengers face off against kang the conqueror?
When did they say time moves faster in the quantum realm? They said it moves differently. When Scott was there in end game he experienced 5 hours for 5 years, so it would make sense they all have only been missing her from a short time ago
Right bcuz they went deeper n2 the realm
That "Hulk Baby" scene in End Game I think is going to be important in the near future. They discovered how to deage or age people. Can see this being used to stop Kang or deage Captain America Steve Rogers etc
Hmm yes good point....also somebody peed my pants.
Just saw the movie today and what a performance by Jonathan Majors. Him being the villain in a couple solo movies before the big Avengers is gonna be great.
I don't understand why Kang needed the Pym particle when he had Darren Cross, who also created the "Cross" particle and could easily have retrieved the core using his version?
Maybe the reason Kang did not try to create his own Pym particles is that he had Darren Cross as a warning of what happens to people who don't know what they are doing. Becoming Modok seems like it is an accident of an external force (Antman) breaking his regulator. However, Darren was already going crazy because he didn't know the effects shrinking could have on the brain if done incorrectly. All in all, Darren is just a big warning, don't create Pym particles.
Well technically he created a close version of it as in the first ant man it was working quiet well for his suit. IMO he lost his mind due to his ego trip thinking he definitely recreated the pym partical exactly as hank did which we see in this movie he didn't due to the back lash it had as he was sent tumbling into the quantum realm. It also could of been due to Scott messing with the regulator at the end of thier battle in ant man 1 but I don't think that was clear enough cuz all Darren (modok) kept saying in this movie was that what happened to him was due to falling into the quantum realm not ever mentioning the suit messing up.
I jus think Kang was incapable of actually recreating the pym partical himself. Whether it's due to lack of information on the subject or cuz he was unwilling to try it is up to debate
Nice, just watched today! Loved it, great humor and action
It would've been nice to see what Kang had been up to after Janet sabotaged his power core. Like a short scene showing him enslaving the people in the Quantum realm n getting them to extract Quantum energy for his new engine. Also MORDOK was an abomination, didn't need to happen.
MODOK was awesome and easily one of the best parts of this movie.
MODOK definitely made the movie a lot better
@@jesselopez8856 There's always time to stop being a dick!
I didn't hate MODOK like I thought I would
Comments/questions:
-David Dastmalchian voices Veb, the ooze-producing holey creature. (imdb)
-Darren should have had info to develop Pym particles? When he was this smart and able to help create the Kang empire?
-still feel sad Hank didn't take a few of his evolved ants back to earth. They disappeared from the screen so fast after the plot needed them...
-Reuben made Scott pay $12 even though a coffee is only $2.50 on the menu board behind him.
-so excited to see Loki S2! Tom's fearful look was way more convincing than Michelle's...
Just watched it today in IMAX 3D and it was AMAZING! I like all 3 Ant-Man movies and the whole Quantum Realm storyline. I do miss seeing Stan Lee in the MCU. The old man in the coffee shop would've been a perfect cameo for him.
Same 🔥
All Kang wants is his timeline. Where the X-Men, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four are in the same universe. It would be cool to see Kang win the war
The post-credit scene makes me excited for Loki season 2. Also, I have to be honest, I wish Marvel made a TV series about Cassie Lang prior to this movie. I wanted to know when she's started her interest in science, especially Hank Pym works, most especially her development of her own suit.
They sped through that stuff and it ended up being messy. Spoilers for the future below:
.
.
.
.
.
All the plot leaks said another post credit scene was filmed where Cassie starts the "Avengers Failsafe Program" aka the Young Avengers. Great homage to The Wasp being one of the most legendary leaders of the Avengers in the comics. The upcoming unannounced Young Avengers movie/show should hopefully help provide some characterization for her - better late than never
What is going on with these visual effects ? they are starting to look worse not better .
4:30 The way how time moves differently for quantum and real world might be explained by how Janet warned Scott about 'dont get sucked into the Time Vortex' last time when he was entering quantum realm .
Hi There. George ( D’FunkaVinci ) here. Kang mentioned that Someone’s coming who can destroy everyone. I wonder if he could be talking about Galactus and the possibility of different variants of Galactus’s….? Or could he be trying to find a variant of himself, ( KANG ), who becomes a herald of Galactus …..? That would be VERY Bad. With an infinite amount of worlds from infinite time lines to devour, Galactus could be as powerful, if not more powerful than any cosmic Entity. Making Herald KANG the ultimate Herald. All Kangs are from a different Earth futures and timelines right ? I’m thinking that what if The Banned Kang might have been found out to be the future herald of Galactus and, saw his future and what he did for Galactus, and was trying to take Galactus’s power for himself to control the counsel of Kangs and try to save all of the different Earths in all time lines of the multiverse ? This is me thinking out of the box. ( I Hope I win a Prize for my thoughts. ) 🤗
This was a great movie ! It had nice action, laughed a lot ,and the world building was amazing! Definitely makes me excited for the future of the MCU! Antman 3 gets a solid 8 in my books.
When I think of great movies, laughter doesn’t come to mind, to each its own

So amazing.. thank you so much for the break all down for us. NYC one
9:10 Pym Particles eventually wear off making the movie obsolete as Kang would have had his engine back with just a bit of patience.
This also means that what ever happened to Kang at the end will be reversed.
The pym particles used on the engine from the start never wore off so they may function differently in the quantum realm.
I love that the coffeeshop guy didn't question Spider-Man, a New York based superhero, visiting his San Francisco shop on the daily
I would guess college aged Spiderman has become active off screen. He saw him on the news and realized he wesrs a mask and lives in NY.
I just love Kang every 2nd in this movie he just nails it
So kevin fiege ( sorry if i speeled his last name wrong lol) said that this time they will be two big bads one from space and one from earth..
Now he never did say or Denied what those big bads are.. we already know that the earths big bad is kang.. now what if an this dose make sense the cosmic big bad is also kang but kang who becomes the beyonder..
So at the end of ant-man and the wasp quantumania we see scoot jam sever diffret pym disk in kangs time core. 3 blue and 3 red.
(Blue to grow big and red to shrink small) so there already in the quantum realm now so it would not be all that impossible if that kang got suck not to another timeline but to the realm beyon all time..
An yes he can come back. How easy. Scott has given him what he needs to come home.
The pym Particle that along with time energy streem. I think kang has Absorbed all three into his suit an he will be make seriously upgrades and modifications to it..
So yes i think we are still getting two big bads one from earth and one from space but i think there both kangs...
Thanks for all the information about the movie, Kang's life and variants. Very helpful.
Anyone else get some "Vader vibes" when MODOK is laying there without his mask and messed up face and says, "you were right about me"...
I loved this movie!! It set up and foreshadowed so much stuff I can’t wait to see!! I had a big and very interesting thought come to me yesterday after seeing the movie. In your post credit scene video you said that there was one Kang variant that became a version of Dr. Doom. I’m sure marvel has another actor that will bring a new MCU version of Dr. Doom to life BUT do you think it could be possible for a Kang variant with a Dr. Doom persona ever appear in future Fantastic 4 movies? I’ve thought about this idea and I honestly think it would be pretty cool and interesting!!
MODOK wasn't bad at all.some reviewers were dumping on him
I like the idea that the quantum realm is linked to every multiverse.
It links to the idea of quantum superposition, where the particle exists in multiple states until observed. Some theorise that the different position must be how the particle is observed in an alternate universe, and each quantum observation therefore is creating a new universe.
That can also be seen as each universe existing on top of each other until the moment of of observation. And at the quantum level both universes existing simultaneously
I'm surprised you didn't mention the reference to the ANTZ movie when the ants climbed on top each other to make ladder to escape the ant colony that was flooding. It's identical to all the antmen doing the same to reach the orb thingy(I can't remember the name of it) #ANTZ
There was a scene where Kang asked one of his faceless drones to start the ship or turn on the towers or something and I was 100% expecting him to say "Roger roger"
Great movie! Looking forward to Phase 5
Really, really nice. 👍🏻
Thank you Charlie. 🙏🏻
I'm pretty sure Kang didn't die. I believe Kang shrunk down, similar to Darren Cross, but what's *beyond* the Quantum Realm? I believe it to be the "Beyondverse," which is home to the Beyonders. There's rumored to be a "Beyonder Kang" as the main villain of Secret Wars, and *THIS* Kang will become the Beyonder Kang.
Being shrunk down to beyond the Quantum Realm, a place even the Kang Dynasty can't find, Kang will absorb the energy in the Beyondverse and evolve into the Beyonder.
When he returns, he will decimate the Kang Dynasty and *burn them out of time.* Succeeding in his goals, he will create his version of the Sacred Timeline and it will be a version of battle world.
Ripping apart parts of each universe and essentially taping them together, this will be Battleworld where every Live Action Marvel character will cameo. With no Avenger, X-Men, Fantastic Four member or any other character able to defeat Beyonder Kang, He Who Remains Kang will arrive with Alioth at the climax to defeat Beyonder Kang.
This is why He Who Remains had told Loki *how he won* the Multiversal War, because he knew the timeloop was about to reset and there was nothing even he could do to stop it. So he ensured his creation, something Kang is notorious for in the comics, by allowing Sylvie to kill him, *after he explained how he won.* As Loki would have this knowledge while the Multiverse is in shambles and Loki would be on a mission to stop Kang.
Eventually, Loki will realize that the only one who can defeat Kang *IS* Kang. "Choose the devil you know," and Loki helps He Who Remains Kang to defeat Beyonder Kang, retelling the story of how he won the war to He Who Remains. HWR will use the energy from ALLLLL of the universes that were ripped apart when Beyonder Kang created Battleworld, and harness that power, creating Alioth.
He Who Remains swoops in and even Beyonder Kang can't stop Alioth, as Alioth is essentially concentrated energy from the entire Multiverse and consumes matter.
He Who Remains stands victorious, with the power to set things right. But instead of recreating the Sacred Timeline, he instead creates an entirely new singular universe, where a variant of every Marvel Character resides within this new timeline. The Multiverse is still a thing, but this time free from any evil Kangs. And Earth-616 now has every Marvel Character that Feige wanted. Meaning X-Men, Mutants, inhumans, etc, and due to time dilation, these characters were *always* a part of the 616 Universe.
Going forward, every project that's connected to Marvel is now canon. Just not part of the main timeline. Ghost rider? Yup. Animated shows? Yup. The old Fantastic Four movie that was unreleased? Yup. Comics and graphic novels? Yup. It's now all connected.
The fight scenes in this movie were so inventive. Loved how they used the raining Ant-Man sequence for example.
I liked when Hope threw a miniature Ant Man & he went Goliath 2 break the force field
I loved JM as Kang the emotional depth he put into Kang was Amazing also he is KANG
I felt sympathy 4 him like Janet when she 1st met him. He made it come across so well
What if this Kang is the younger He who remains. He said in Loki that he's had many names in cluding Conquer. And he made it sound like he had the vision to end the multiversal war when others were fighting themselves. Sounds very similar to Kangs mentality in quantumania. I think he won and in Loki he had nothing left to do so he was content and bored.
Its crazy how the hating critics don't appreciate how interesting it is the way all this comes together. Its unapreciated hard work
This is one of those movies that sets up alot more than most and starts to pull the strings along for later films. Kinda reminds me of the thir dark world film in the previous phase, not such a great stand alone film, though it was alright, the set up in the end credits of that film pushed the whole phase forward magnificently.
I think the reason for him not wanting to go is the probability copies. All of the antmen worked together down there towards the singular goal. If Kang was down there, they would have all turned on each other. Or it could be that the necessary ingredients for pym particles didn't exist in the quantum realm.
I wonder if the things he who remains said in Loki will come back around to repeat itself or maybe there’s some kind of connection in which the way he who remains weaponized Alioth to save the timelines is what has to happen to stop Kang again, but then again if that happens then the TVA needs to happen again too which the loki shows whole goal was to not allow that
Just watched the movie today, in his speech to Janet about getting revenge on the council of Kangs im pretty sure he made a mention of Infinity as well in that angry speech. Did I hear that correctly? Would think if he did make that reference it wasnt just for causal mention but somehow ties Infinity in with his being banished but maybe its a reach...
Dude thank you for your work!!!! You are super useful in helping us decide whether we watch the movie or not. Disney been messing up lately.
Should see for yourself.
Imagine letting someone control you to watch a film
The movie was great and funny

@@solodoloact I can't stand individuals that fully trust any review, especially rotten tomatoes, That site is major garbage
Honestly I wish this movie was better, it’ll genuinely felt like something was missing. One thing I did wish they showed was when kang killed thor, like if they played that scene in the movie it would’ve been amazing and really make kang seem truly terrifying.
I felt a lot was going on at once to the point the story line wasn’t being focused ! So I totally agree with you !
The movie was boring
This movie was not bad by any means it was enjoyable to watch the issue is that the multiverse saga is concluding much quicker than the infinity saga did and this movie is supposed to be setting up the main villain for the next couple of years of marvel movies but he got defeated by the guy who speaks to ants??? he has supposedly killed countless avengers and destroyed countless universes but he lost to antman that’s what pisses me off about this movie. the cgi was actually alright but the main issue was the writing and how they did a massive injustice to how powerful kang is supposed to be. there’s so many things wrong with how they beat him which all links back to the fact that kang is supposed to be someone with technology so advanced that it looks like sorcery. what’s worse is the writer they used for this movie is also the person writing avengers: kang dynasty so i’ve not got high hopes for avengers 5. I think the main issue is the fact that as the infinity saga concluded, disney gave kevin feige the main role of production of the mcu.
@@user-qe4xm8yy1e I agree ! Kevin been adding too much in a short sequence but not having enough to blend out the story to its full max .
It was stated that Kang's weapon are all store in his chair and he manage to only get his armor when he was about to activate his chair but Janet remove the power source thus he did not get all his tech and he has no other means to create the particle.... He was even more nerf when his armor was strip by the ants but still he leaves only shows he is already that strong on his bare form. Imagine him with all his tech..
I hope on battle world in secret wars at least, they show the sacred timeline and it's in the symbol of an infinity loop and they explain the battle world is happening right in the middle where the loop joins together, giving everyone a possibility to fight in battle world
It just dawned on me that Scott just stopped a universe ending event in spectacular fashion and literally no one knows about it yet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He also started one against the Kangs and doesn't know it yet 😭🤣 he's really a trouble seeker
The kangs know lol
movie was sooo damn good. Kang tone was ON POINT
In the comics, Marvel never really clarified if kang was descended from Reed or Vector, So it's still a mystery. I liked the movie so much, We saw how kang he's serious and not like patient thanos (at least not as we saw him in MCU).
Really goes to show how hank is pure genius for creating pym particles and how big of a role they can be.
Honestly my favourite throwback here is how Scott's first words to Cassie in Endgame are, "you got so big"; now look at her :-)
Thing to note is the post credit scene seems to takr place befotr the Loki finally.
Also would have been cool if they left Scott and Hope stranded and that was the reason the Young Avengers were forme.d
Just got back from the theater. Excellent Marvel movie! I'm glad they still make them like this! 10/10. The cast did a great job.
Janet Van Dyne: Who is Kang?
Kang the Conqueror: Who I need to be.
You can see Yellowjackets helmet in Loki in the area near Aliath (sp). It could be seen as an Easter egg that he came back.
When Scott returns from the Quantum realm, why has no time passed? As it had when he returned in Endgame?
Quit thinking to hard
I'm guessing because of the tech that was used is different.
They didn't go through time dilation but the ants did
Because they were sucked in and teleported by Modoks device after Cassie sent the signal and went all the way down to the bottom of quantum realm and when they return to earth they use Kang’s crystal to teleport so they didn’t go through dilation unlike those ants that travel through time dilation to go to quantum realm and that’s where Scott went through also during the Endgame.
this is another reason why this movie is so crap. one of the biggest plot points in endgame for scott’s return from the quantum realm is that time had passed for him in mere hours even though it had passed for everyone else over the course of 5 years but oH nO lEtS jUST aBsoLutEly fOrgEt aBoUt tHaT bEcaUsE wHo cAReS
Charlie,great review as always.
Thanks again!
Earlier in the MCU timeline I thought MODOK was actually the German scientist who helped Red Skull in Cap 1 and came back as the CPU in Cap 2. I swore he said his name was MODOK. I felt that was a realistic way to use the character instead of the iconic living floating head they made him a head in a computer 🤷🏾♂️
I just wanna say he is coming back as multiple Kengs off the probability storm verse so yeah multiple conquers not the other kengs remember his mission was to bring his army through the Multiverse, since that didn’t come into play? He’s probably gonna find a way to get out with multiple kengs conquers
really enjoyed this movie. its got me super excited to see avengers 5!
Nice, I'll do more Kang Dynasty and Loki Season 2 videos soon!
So, something that you said about Kang The Conqueror becoming so powerful made me wonder.... could he come back in Secret Wars as The Beyonder? It actually makes a weird kind of sense that he grows so powerful that he becomes almost omniscient. Thoughts?
Did you come up with the beyonder theory? Every dork is mentioning that like they thought of it.
Kang being the beyonder is dumb and something mcu would do
@@reversetriangle I made my comment before reading any other comments. But thanks for your input, such as it was. 🙄
@@reversetriangle how when he is just a more time traveling-centric warlord version of Doctor Doom - who became the Beyonder for building Battleworld?
@@reversetriangle and you're dumb because he has ties to the comics with Doom doing the same shit. So either one of them being the Beyonder would be sensible, in power scaling they're both equals.
@@Rush_Under you read beyonder comments in every dumb Kang theory post, dork
Hey so I had this thought with my friend. You know how in Loki everything that got pruned went into that world without time and alioth was at? Notice how multiple Loki survived there and existed , and there was the qeng tower as well as the sphinx which Rama tut uses , all setting up that place to be battle world , the place they found he who remains aka immortus is at the end of time it would be perfect for every hero across multiverses to fight in that one area
Wonder is that Vicktor Timely building
I’m guessing the reason Kang couldn’t steal/recreate pym particles is because Hank never shared the formula with anybody (except the fam I think) & that’s why there’s no info in the past, present, or future for him to pull from or get the formula. That was one of the major reasons why S.H.I.E.L.D. tried to recruit him & why other companies were trying buy Darren out when he was in control. We “seen” people try to recreate stark tech & I’m pretty sure kang can get hands on stark tech. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be revealed he “found” the machine/platform then after he found it. He
Charlie always giving us straight heat!
The after credits scenes were so good. Makes me so excited to see Jonathan Majors in future Marvel projects. We HAVE to get scenes with him in Loki season 2
Film was really great and looking forward to the season as well and the comedy parts was great it gives the fun
He saw the movie like a month ago he had these videos ready bro.
Most reviews of #Quantumania down play the great performance by #MichellePfeiffer. She drives the plot and the drama. Her scenes with #Kang elevate the film. Ant-man and Stinger (Cassie) drive the action and humor. Props to #PeytonReed the Director and the writers. #BillMurray as #LORDKrylar was a nice treat....but too short.
#Quantumania felt like an #Avengers #MCU film because of the A-List ensemble cast and the new #BigBad #KangTHEConquerer, who is a #Thanos-level villain. #Antman and #Loki are second tier #Marvel characters, up against a first tier villain, like #Kang. #BlackPanther, #WakandaForever with the introduction of #Namor into the #MCU as the #BigBad had the same #Avengers vibe.
GREAT BREAKDOWN!!! Also the book is for preorder in September!
20:22 the way he is sitting in this scene is a reference on how he sits on his time chair in Avengers #8. The first appearance of Kang the Conqueror by name.
I told my fiance that's the Kang pose
How can Luis and the gang not be in this movie?
I liked it I give it a 7/10 though I wish they didn’t just kill off modok his character also seemed every irrelevant like even if he wasn’t in the movie it would it have changed a thing and surprised antman survives this thought kang would of at least killed someone close to antman to show how dangerous he really is but I loved this movie it’s also funny because all Janet had to do was explain to them who kang was/is to avoid this whole situation she sent half the movie talking in riddles instead of telling them
Do you think hes actually dead though? I think they'll yada yada around him still being alive somehow. Or at least I hope they do.
@@raylop80731 i don’t think he’s dead however i don’t think that is the problem with this movie. @@user-qe4xm8yy1e well few things. While the earth years are consolidated, we are going to have the same if not more movie hours for the Kang Saga. Kang was definitely not defeated in AM3. I thought that was abundantly clear. His tech did in fact look like sorcery on screen.
Charlie, I actually purchased the Scott Lang book, but it is a preorder and doesn't come out until July
Saw it yesterday. Loved it! Going again this week
Jonathan Majors is amazing, I loved the movie and can’t wait to see more of Kang
The way Scott was thinking to himself saying "is Kang really dead" at the end of the film made me think when Janet said "you can't trust him, or let him get in your head".... I really think there's something to that.
For post credit scene said this last vid but I bring it up again
After watching the post credit scenes for the film i say Jonathan majors really did a great job portraying this different Kang personalities 👏👏👏👏
He’s for sure not dead but where they’ll go with the character idk but I have a feeling he’ll pop up and they’ll have to work with him to destroy Galactis
@@JukeboxWithJay Do you think we are going to get a neutral Kang? I feel like we might get more of a neutral Doom.
@@BrutalFates what do you mean neutral?
@@JukeboxWithJay Like they are a character that sticks around and helps the good guys but will also do bad things. Like how Loki was for a while till they kinda just made him good.
@@BrutalFates oh that’s an anti-hero and yea I’m 1000% sure there will be a antihero and hero Kang. Doom will probably also be a villian and then anti-hero when Galactis comes around
Kang's suit seriously reminded me of a future STARK TECH. Like it was originally based on STARK technology, but has been upgraded thousands of years to harness Quantum Energy.
Wish Michael Peña had at least a cameo 😢 Love Luis.
This movie had some ups and downs but I was entertained.
Michelle Pfeiffer is so gorgeous. Wish she would play more villains 😉 Janet was so annoying keeping everything a secret way past the time it would make sense 🙄
P.S. Thanks for sharing more about the comic book lore about this storyline because I feel like I'm missing a lot.
This definitely had the best post credit scenes! Love the terrifying look that Loki had when he saw Kang.
