  • In this video I talk about some of the things I dislike about the Kayo K6-R 250. The list is very small because I love this bike for what it is....but no bike is perfect and this thing has a couple things I address in the video.

My local Kayo dealer is also a Yamaha, Triumph & Royal Enfield dealer. They employ some fantastic mechanics. That has helped Kayo's reputation in my area at least.
Now... the radiator shrouds. Are there any other designs that would bolt up? Maybe the shrouds that would match up to the rear plastics? And as far as the rear plastics, what year KTM do they match?

I know you talk about the Efi bike A lot Which I do own 2021 I bought a brand-new from the dealership. You set the idle where you want with your fingers on the thumb screw. adjust the handlebars in the front or back position set your suspension up. And it’s the best versatile bike you can get for this price. And I have been riding for years with carb bikes. They are sometimes very finicky when you start messing with elevation changes and you have to reject them quite a bit so if you’re a traveler that likes to go to different parks it is the best option.

Sure..I have mentioned how they are different...run high octane non-ethenol gas. Clean the in tank fuel filter, change the injector for a new one and keep up on maintenance it is a really good trail bike no doubt.

Typically you have to adjust the valves quite a bit on a 250 4 stroke. How is the process on this bike and do they supply shims to adjust the valves?

Turns out they are non adjustable...just replace instead of shim...should go 100 hrs easy is what Kayo has told us...very easy job if you have worked on modern 4 strokes.

Hard to find worker let alone one that care. Take McD for example they want $15-$16 and hour and heaven forbid you say no pickles.. Let alone just not messing up the order. If they can find enough workers to even keep the dining room open. Factory's and shops are in the same boat.
