    785g Cabbage finely chopped
    175g (2 carrots) Peeled and cut into strips
    150g Green beans cut into long strips
    Few green chilies
    2 cloves garlic minced
    1 teaspoon turmeric powder
    1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
    Salt to taste
    200 ml vegetable oil

    So interesting to learn different ways. My mum dries the veg in the sun instead of blanching. She fries the spices as well.

      Yes in Mauritius we have the chance to dries the vegetables and it’s better

    Thanks for the recipe! It's very close to the one my mother uses. Can't believe all the comments saying you can't pickle without vinegar lol. Maybe they should google "types of pickling methods".

      Approximately 20 minutes or until dry keep an eye on it
