I looked into this case, apparently he survived an attempt on his life with a gun- and through this surgery, this young man now has a new lease on life. It’s beautiful. Modern medicine is so incredible, and I hope he’s doing well still ❤️

I'm not disgusted by the gore and stuff, I'm just amazed that they managed to literally take off half of his face without killing him. Humanity sure is awesome. But again even that the guy survived a blast to the face is a miracle in itself

I feel the deepest respect towards all the people who took part in this. I cannot even fathom what it would mean to be able to remove someone's face and bones in order to give it to the recipient and doing this major job. Awesome!

Surgeons are the strongest most metal people in the world. I know many do go to therapy (which is totally understandable and I do not think makes them weak at all btw), but my point still stands. The fact people can do this as their job and still be even somewhat mentally stable is so impressive. I would be vomiting violently into the nearest trash can the minute they began lifting up the face skin off the face, or maybe even sooner. I have incredibly high respect for these people.

As to when it comes to all the religions that we do have in this world with all the different proclaimed "gods" ; Study has shown that every single piece of scripture or writing about any form or type of deity/god can be and has been proven to be wrong or simply illegal when it comes to certain claimes of types of religion. I will refrain from going in to detail (Richard Dawkins if youre interested). the amount of pain that the patient would have endured after the surgery(if ever they did perform it) must be out of this world.
both physical and mental, imagine the implicit trauma of waking up with another humans face, no-matter how prepared you are beforehand that must have some sort of psychological impact on your brain when you don't instinctively recognize yourself in the mirror anymore. And they did perform it, this video is a documentation of a real surgery that happened in 2018

During the Medicine University, you are taken to real life dissecations, I knos someone eith a friend that went there and there was a guy with a chainsaw from what I remember that sawed and slashed a dead guy's head Mortal Kombat style and they had to take lictured of the "slices" with the brains and all, I find it exciting to be honest! Even tho the smell is unpleasant.
