Thank you. But we do understand the words to this song. Before performing, even before starting to rehearse the song, we have the lyrics translated. We fell in love with the lyrics and even fell deeper in love with the melody. We even had the blessing from the arranger, the wonderful Sir Robert Delgado to perform this song in our concert :)

I felt guilty that I failed to appreciate the beauty of our own folk songs and OPM. Most of us are drawn to pop and Hollywood influences. Well, it's no surprise they picked these songs because they hold so much dream, resilience, and love also Filipinos are naturally hopeless romantics. being a part of the same region,which is ASEAN,it is obviously easy for this wonderful indonesian choral to pronounce our language beautifully... you would really think that they are genuinely Filipinos...very good
even if we both belong to one Asian region, the pronunciation of Bahasa is very much different from ours. I have been here in Indonesia for almost 4 years and I can attest to that. Yes, there are some words that are alike but still they are very hard to pronounce. Our simple "ate" (elder sister) sounds funny when they say it.
being part of the same region? they are our descendants and our blood brothers, the very first ones were the taiwanese aboriginies who went southwards, we are all austronesians with over 90%
