I' m so thankful to came across this movie. What a blessing, I'm German, not understanding every word, but at the moment I'm reading a book with sermons of C.H. Spurgeon and this movie was a gift for me today.
I' m following Jesus Christ since beginning of the C-crisis and thank God for waking me up.

The Lord knew each and everyone of us even before we were conceived. As God knew this preacher, so He also knew you and me. Stay faithfull to the full gospel of Christ, The Lord will carry you through all circumstances. It's His Love for you, you see 💞. And be sure to have an extra bible in your home, because "the pope"(Bergolio) who calls himself "francis" is within a movement to rewrite The Holy Word of God: the bible. And he has stated it to be wrong to speak or preach about Jesus Christ being The Only Way, Truth and Life Eternal !! Where Our Lord Himself said to spread it all over the world and where God's Word also says : Faith comes by hearing The Word of The Lord !! So, how could we be silent !! The words of Bergolio are blasphemous, just like those of Darwin.
I thank The Lord for calling upon you 💯. In Christ Jesus we are, through His Sacrifice for us, bound together as His Bride to be. In 2019 (way before Covid-19) an Angel of The Lord appeared in my living-room and in a clear sound stated ;"LO AND BEHOLD, THE KING IS COMING". Then he was gone again. Our Lord Jesus Christ 💖 IS coming VERY, VERY SOON 💯‼️ Be ready for it, beloved in The Lord. Never despair, for when He is with us - who shall be against us 🎯💯‼️

Most truly do i agree it would be a fantastic sight to see all God's people in these days to know that the word of God hasn't changed for 2000yrs the selfsame gospel preached by Paul n Silas of grace thru faith in Jesus Christ alone is still sufficient to save everyone but we must still continuely walk out our salvation...

I have had this movie for almost 7 years on my phone and watched it not less than a hundred times (not exaggerating) what an inspiring story. Thanking God for giving us this Legend.
This is one of the most humble, God fearing, pure, Godly and Holy Man of God I've ever listened to. He is one of the splendid examples of what it truly means to submit and be like the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit of God was surely upon him. He preached the Gospel and ministered to the poor even upon this day. These sermons of his are God breath! and changing lives. Brother Spurgeon has ran the race and endured to the end! To God be the Glory!!! This man is in heaven! Resting in the blossom of the Lord Jesus Christ!
When the books are open May all who unselfishly served our Lord hear, "Well done, you good and faithful servant "

A beautiful movie of this "Prince of Preachers" life. His sermons bless me every time I listen, especially the hard ones, they are needed, I need them. What I would give to find a church with such a man in the pulpit these days.
I know we will meet him in Heaven some day. I will give both him and his sweet "Wifie" a loving hug. Please keep posting his sermons, there are still many lost souls whose ears can hear, when the Holy Spirit calls them.
A fantastic film on Spurgeon's ministry. If only we had someone like him today bringing people to God as he did and staying faithful to the Word. If only Churches around the world today preached as he did.
They are many men of God who teach how the Holy Spirit wants them too. I've learned to respect mem of God but never copy them. We all have crosses we need to carry. Only Jesus should we follow and copy

Actually not any religious persuasion but rather the truth stands on its own. And you heard truth in Pastor Spurgeon. You see, the gospel has been polluted by man’s traditions and pagan practices and when you seek the truth, you will be set free. Christ Alone is enough. Look to Him.
I was brought to tears when I learned he died of a young age of 57.. I'm so thankful tho that the teaching and work of the Holy Spirit still continue to bless others today.
When I heard that he helped the children of London,that was a relief to know someone who had the means chose to help.i know he is resting in the arms of Jesus.
He'd reportedly neglected his health in younger years, otherwise he might have lived longer to continue his commission.
He (Spurgeon) will ressurect to meet His Saviour when He (Jesus) returns the second time, not before.
Interesting fact: By 1900 in Britain, the average lifespan was about 47 for a man and about 50 for a woman. So Spurgeon lived to what was considered a great old age.

Those who died in Christ are referred to as sleeping in scripture and will be resurrected when Jesus returns to earth. This Paul confirms in
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
"13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
This story of Spurgeon's life really touched me. I had listened to his sermons, and have been greatly inspired by them, bringing me closer to the Lord, but I didn't know anything about his life. Thanks to all who contributed in making this movie and uploading it to CZcams.

His sermons changed my life, Jesus is my Lord.
You have no problem with a Calvinist??? Maybe GOD didn't pick you for Heaven?? That's what Spurgeon believed.
It's not an easy thing to follow the teaching of scripture, especially if friends and family don't understand as you do. Charles was fortunate to come from a strong family of believers. It is true that his works still touches lives.
That’s why our Lord and Savior forewarned us in Matthew 10:34-39 to be ready

There are very few like him in todays world. What a dedicated man of God he was.He’s truly blessed. Many churches today are trying to water down the Bible to suit their congregation.

Charles Spurgeon will forever be The People’s Preacher. I listen to his sermons quite often and always come away with a determination to follow Jesus Christ more closely than before. After all these years, his sermons are still fresh and inspiring. Thank God for this man who loved the Lord more than life itself.

I loved everything about his life he was a man who didn't compromise the word of God he just gave the truth of the word and lived the life he preached about. We don't see this through to many preachers today he loved the Lord and honored only him🙌👏

LOOK at JESUS. Just look at JESUS, Spurgeon said. So many today say God, but there are many gods, we need to say Jesus - for HE is our salvation. C. H. Sturgeon did not just say God, he said JESUS. People today speak of God as if it doesn’t matter, they say we all worship God, but you and I know that many do NOT worship Jesus. JESUS, God the Son (three in ONE), Jesus the Christ, Jesus our Messiah, HE ALONE is our salvation.
He wants to see repentance but sadly it's more like Sodom and Gomorrah, Noah and his Ark

He never recorded his sermons..the technology had not yet been invented....maybe you heard them read...and that would have been great...go online and order " Lectures to my Students" and " Morning and Evening" a devotional.
Indeed Charles did a wonderful work. The sad reality is that many times God leaves people like Charles in the dark with regards to other truths, not because Charles would not embrace the new light, but sometimes and many times it is the people that would not embrace it. Charles indeed preached according to the light of truth that he knew, but so much more he could have known, but this was withheld from him for his own good. One thing Charles did not know, is that the true Sabbath was not sunday, it was actually the 7th day, as many call today Saturday. The Sabbath is one topic that has been withheld from many preachers, willingly and not willingly. The 4th Commandment that describes who the Lord truly is among the so call many other gods that people have cherished or created for themselves over the years. But in these last day, God is calling a people to come back to His truth, something that is not very popular in the midst of so much confusion and deception. An easy topic indeed, but yet the world has been lead to disregard this very Law in a profound way, calling it the Sabbath of the Jews, when never such thing is mentioned in the scriptures. Because of the lack of diligent study of the word, many have lost this very blessing and the benefit of the true Sabbath of the Lord. Many preachers fallen in deception have failed to understand the difference between the Sabbath of the 10 Commandments with the sabbaths connected with the Temple and it's sacrificial system and festivals, for these sabbaths were nailed to the cross, fulfilled by the life of Christ, but never such a thing applies to the Sabbath of the 10 Commandments. May God open your eyes to see the truth of the Sabbath, maybe for the first time.
This was very good. I would hope the Bible College that bears his name today holds fast to the Gospel scriptures.

Here are truth statements from the Bible that humans are shaped in the sin nature called iniquity, the wages of sin is death, and there is an appointed time for a person to die, after that COMES GOD'S JUDGEMENT. The evidence is the creation of laws (GOD'S LAW INFLUENCING humans to create man made laws to deal with the sin nature), and our mortality. We were birth into the knowledge of evil (that is the learning of harming the body) unknowingly under the umbrella of a civilized world, meaning that laws were put in place to control said knowledge of evil by enabling us to evolve culturally and morally. Civilization is like a rainbow that makes our characters look pretty because laws cannot change the hearts of people, but only can act as a disciplinarian. Consequently, we become civilized which supports the fact that non of us is good given being civilized is not the same as being good. Simply put, humanity is sick with sin, sin makes laws necessary & laws are the stability needed to build a civilization. How can a civilized person, who is guilty of violating GOD'S LAW escape HIS JUDGEMENT? How was JESUS CHRIST CONCEIVED to know HE WAS THE LAMB OF GOD?

I know what you mean. My life was in a downward spiral. I kept blaming God for all of my bad choices. Then the truth dawned on me, they were my choices and not God's. Jesus took all of my sinful bad decisions and choices to himself on the cross.

What an uplifting, inspiring documentary of a man who was well loved by both God and man! I'm persuaded that all who God counts worthy to enter His everlasting kingdom will have all of eternity to hear similar stories of His wondrous works in the lives of His children.

What a blessing to hear the story of Charles Spurgeon. I had heard of his name but it is good to now know more about him. At the end my heart truly felt the pain of the passing of one of Gods humble servants. . . We need them here on earth -- many many more of them.
The moment he asked if she prayed for her husband and then he said that he prays for his wife. It was a moment that a show like the Bachelor could only dream about. God’s dating game is the only dating game we could hope to play and win.
I wrote a letter to my future husband and kept it in the back of my bible for quite a number of years. I forgot about it, and found it after we had been married a few months - in it was a prayer for my husband. My hubby was so blessed by it he immediately came closer to the Lord and has been since then.
People didn't "date" back in those days, they "courted." That way as couple got to know & understand each other better, their families also did likewise.

I so related to this, I prayed to Our Lord to please see my love, and I wanted to share it with someone. He gave me a wonderful partner soon after. I knew the graces I was given, by meeting him. We married, after Two years of dating. I recognized his love, and many wonderful ways. I knew I was blessed. We had 3 beautiful, wonderful children. I lost him March 9, 2021, after 46 years together. I miss him so much, but the graces of God gives me dreams of him, memories of him. Thank you Lord Father for the gift of love.♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

He lead such a God filled life! With a wife that worked along side him too, many of his writings are published. With the help of God he saved many souls! He has to be one of my favorite preachers from his era.

As a young preacher in my teen years and then into my twenties I cut my “teeth” on Charles H Spurgeon now 50 years later I find him again reviving and preserving the work of the Holy Spirit in my life.

He went as far as his knowledge of the word took him but there's a flood of Bible light still waiting to be understood and practiced. I use the Spurgeon Study Bible and have recently read his Jesus Came to Save Sinners book. Beautiful books. They make my heart sing with gratitude to God for His amazing grace in my life.
wow that part where he explains how he heard Jesus thought that preachers and felt his embrace is almost how i felt when i gave my life to Jesus! I could see me as broken as i am and he would have just came and picked me up without me saying a word and i knew then he was what i was looking for my entire life. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior! I am waiting to get baptized soon after my church opens backup, i just went this Sunday and It was glorious being surround by others that have the love of Christ in them.

This was a tremendous blessing to me. I have loved this man since the first day God called me to Him. The woman who shated the Gospel with me gave me Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Devotionals. It is cherished dearly.
How wonderful it was to come across this fine documentary about a pastor who I love. I was given a book of devotionals penned by Pastor Spurgeon 3 years ago and still, nightly, I read from it. The words on those pages have blessed me over and over again and I have often prayed that I should be allowed to meet him when I get to Heaven so that I may thank him for the book, the words within it's pages and the blessing it is to my life. Now I am able to understand a little more of his life and his ministry and I am oh so grateful to the makers of this film. 🙏

C.H Spurgeon is one of my heroes...still benefit from his writings to this day. What a godly man....there is one today that preaches and teaches boldly, a Spurgeon of our era his name is John Macarthur. I praise God for his faithful servants whom he has given to his precious church...past, present and until he returns. God Bless.
John MacArthur is an unsaved reprobate minister of Satan Calvinist, Lordship Salvation, backloading bastard, heretic.
He mocks the true gospel as easy believism. Easy or hard it's believing that saves you. Period!
Anyone who says that believing is not enough is actually an unbeliever.

He says up front that it is grace through faith alone in Christ alone ,but faith that saves is never alone.... He puts conditions on it.

James is about our justification before men but not before God. Simple enough, I can choose to have an alive faith or a dead faith, nothing to do with salvation at all.
James is really about having a practical faith that helps others.
James cannot contradict Ephesians 2 :8,9, 10, Romans 4 :5,6, and Romans 11 :6.
Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.
Salvation is absolutely free.
Rewards are worked for!

I’ve been blessed by Spurgeon many times and I was born over sixty years after his death. This documentary moved me to tears.
I first heard of charles spurgeon in 1978, bought his morning evening devotion. Thru the years has been a blessing reading his powerful sermons. I learned so much about Jesus and his love for sinners. In a mystical way felt like I knew him. Oh how wonderful the lord raises up great preachers, he once said to be great in divine things you have to be a great sufferer, God's way keeping you humble. All Christians are cut from a different mold, what a thing tho to b called the prince of preachers sauciest dog ever to bark in a puppet, he would say look to Jesus he's the only thing worth living for, what a reception it must have been when he entered heaven, and saw Jesus waiting for him!

wow, I'm in tears... what an amazing human being. I had never heard of him. He was truly a man of a God and suffered for his belief in Jesus Christ but never gave up. He left such a legacy. I pray that I can be led and strengthened by the Holy Spirit in the same way in these trying times where the world has turned its backs on Christ. Lord keep me strong and faithful till the end, only looking up and not looking out. Change me from the inside out, Renew me, transform me that you're will and not mine be done in Jesus' name Amen.

Just started watching but I know I'm going to love it, have been listening to a lot of his sermons in my car and fell in love with his messages. I drive long distance all over Victoria to visit places now just as an excuse to put Charles audio on in my car. I also love David Wilkerson's sermons but must admit I'm a bit biased there, being a distant relative :)
Yes I agree 💯👍😊 both full of GOD, pastor Wilkerson preaching is missed he gave the WHOLE WORD OF GOD , NOT JUST THE FEEL GOOD FLUFF . He would give you fire and brimstone , then build up your faith and joy that's in the LORD.

@@rach478 He was great, I never knew him personally but I think the name Wilkerson came to Australia from the USA family branch (Originally from Scotland). Here in Australia it's more common to have it spelled Wilkinson, those that moved through USA changed it to Wilkerson.. My grandfather was a fiery preacher, and my Father and Uncles have all been involved in missionary work etc. So it's in our blood, hopefully I can hold up the tradition and make them all proud one day.

Thank you for posting this. I had not known much about Spurgeon except that he was a man of great legend and folklore. Sad to see the church of Great Britain today has like America fallen so far away from the faith that should be held most sacred and precious. Little did I know he was the wonder-boy preacher. I like that he liked Pilgrim's Progress, for I and many others can relate to that. Also how God puts 2 unlikely people together. Great men often find great opposition, as Satan stands in the way to attempt to thwart the work of God, yet Greater is He that is in you who believe, than He that is in the world. The work and wonder of God is often done in the people who are willing to yield in faith to believe He will do great works and miracles, and today, He still does.
