- When the Nazis rose to power in 1933, they began a systematic campaign to exclude, expel and separate the Jewish community from various aspects of society. In 1941, the Nazis began to murder Jews indiscriminately. In the summer of 1942, the Ten Boom family began a covert underground operation in a little watch shop in Haarlem, Holland. They began to offer shelter to countless Jews, developing a vast network of contacts to relocate Jewish refugees to safe houses across the Dutch Countryside. So encouraging!! The message of forgiveness is so important. Choosing to show mercy towards those who have hurt us is incredibly liberating. Don't hold on to grudges. Even though it's hard to forgive, it is well worth it. Pray to God for the strength and courage to forgive just as Corrie did. Then thankfully receive God's mercy for yourself and peace WILL be yours!!! God bless.

I watch this video thank you for shares
there were a handful of Christian heroes that came out of that time. This family were some of them. it's a shame there weren't more. It's make me think of the modern times and the strong Christians that were able to stand up against the tyranny of the 2020 (planned) pandemic and quarantines. In the west, there were not many Churches and pastors who did. Next time, it might be closer to what happened in Europe in the 1940s. May the Lord Christ give us the strength, wisdom, and power to do what's right.

Certainly when there is no threat to our safety it is easy to feel we would do what is right but it takes real courage and faith to stand up for what is right when caught in a situation like Corrie ten Boon.
