This is an excellent presentation of the Desmond Doss true story. I specially liked the fact that it emphasizes the deep spiritual connection he had with his faith in God. I liked the fact that your video included the fact that Desmond had already demonstrated his bravery and commitment to saving lives well before the events on Hacksaw Ridge. Just Imagine what an impact Christians would have on our World if more of us were willing to commit to living out our faith with the same degree of dedication that Desmond Doss did during and after WW2.

So many think of pacificists as cowards, but he was braver than all of the critics. We all want to think we could be as brave as Franz under the same circumstances, but few could live up to this incredible example.

Amazing godly man ! I do believe in not taking up weapons to kill others to take land like Hitler tried to do. But If so believe in a country defending its citizens just like Israel is doing. As well they are taking back land that belongs to them, according to the Scriptures. war is necessary at times to defend against invading armies.

I'm not sure she's a good example to use as a role model. I have heard a lot of bad things about her. Just because somebody does some "good" doesn't mean they're good. We're dealing with a lot of bad things in the world because people said they were doing a good for society. I'm not putting down people doing good. I'm just saying we should be careful who we are presenting to our children as role models. Good deeds don't equal good person.

My questions are: 1. Do we still have the same Human Rights Act as 1946? 2. Human Rights and God 10 commandments: are these contradicted or in harmony? Ex: Human rights Act gives me rights to worship whatever I want (freedom of religion). God 10 commandments tell me to Remember the Sabbath and so on. Is not the human rights act a counterfeit of God’s Law? Before the fall of our first parents (Adam & Eve): what was their Human Rights Act? God bless

It touch my heart what Franz Hasel did of his Incredible kindness saving lives of others. As well as Capt. Wilhem Hossenfeld and also he is almost similar to Desmond Doss who preferred not to use a Gun. May God Bless Their Souls such Salute, Love and Respect. If I have a chance to visit in Germany I will pay respect and honor these Kind German Soldiers who choose to spare and save lives of those in need.
