  • Baseball Drill - No more Slice
If you’re struggling with the fade or slice and struggle to close the face, then give this a go!
*TEE SHOT HACK - Fix your Driver Slice with the simple ‘Baseball Drill’ *
This hip-height swing drill can be a valuable practice exercise. This drill focuses on promoting a improved club path and face rotation, helping you overcome your slicing issues.
How - Take you set up position. Apply a slightly stronger (hands to the right of the golf grip)
Set up the golf club at hip height position, parallel to the ground. As you initiate the swing, pay close attention to your body's rotation and the path of the club. Make sure your hips and torso rotate through impact, allowing the club face to close / release through impact.
Feel as your hands and forearms rotate ‘open - close’ This promotes an ideal release and helps counteract the slicing action. By encouraging the club to orbit around your body, it’ll encourage the face to close therefore eliminating the dreaded slice.
Start with slow, controlled swings, ensuring you maintain balance and sequence. Gradually increase your swing speed as you become more comfortable with the feelings.
Consistent practice with the hip-height swing drill can help you correct your slice, leading to straighter and more accurate shots on the golf course.
    Happy golfing!
