Just did a quick Google snd according to wikipedia Dunkle is any dark beer or the darkest at the brewery. Ale or lager but most commonly lager. Also dark wheat beer. Interesting. Cheers Rick.😎👍
Nice update, presumably bottled off the keg? I've had my eyes tested and they are £&*%, I need glasses for distance, but now I'm getting to the point where I need them for close up as well, readers and seers 😳🤣. seventy five minute boil is dedication 😲? If I do a full mash brew it's ninety minute boil 😎 🤣. If a beer is good it's a good beer, nuf said 😉🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Another fantastic video Rick! You always cheer me up with your enthusiasm and passion for home brewing and home brewed beer. I love a Dunkel and have always regarded it as a lager. It could be about time I put my mind to brewing one because I never have😩 Let’s not forget congratulations to Abbey Homebrew he certainly knows his stuff! Highly impressive👍👍👍
Hiya Rick, I got my novalaver yeast from The Maltmaster on ebay about £5 for an 11gram sachet. Used it on a Coopers stout kit, unbelievable beer, fermented out in 3 days in the fermzilla kegged it and everyone who has tasted it think I've got a keg of Guiness behind my pub shed 😂
Great enthusiasm as always Rick. I know what you mean about the one take. It's nerve racking to record anything that can't be repeated, I've even started to sometimes set a back-up camera for emergency video and sound. ...The things we do for fun, huh?....
Its not cheap that novalager yeast, suppose its like everything these days but a fiver seems too much especially if you need 2 packs depending on what your brewing.
Another great video Rick!! You make home-brewing fun and entertaining 👍😃🍺
Ahh ! Thanks means a lot ,thanks for watching and commenting it’s really appreciated cheers 👍🏼🍻

Just purchased 2 packets tonight for £9:30 from eBay tonight let’s see how it goes?
I've usually managed to get 3 brews out of one packet. I've even managed to dry some and it work again.
