For our last days in country number 100 of New Zealand, we explored the city, its surroundings like Te Henga (Bethell's Beach), and celebrated in luxury at the Park Hyatt Auckland, arguably the best hotel in the city😍
We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-time🧔🏻👱🏻♂️ We've been together for eight years and have been traveling together pretty much since day one✈️ We're trying to see and learn as much about the world as possible before we settle down and start a family👨👨👧👦 In 2022, we completed our goal of visiting 100 countries at the age of 25🌍 Check our CZcams About page for more details👨🏼🤝👨🏻❤️

New Zealand was country 100🌍
We began our trip in Queenstown before making our way up the South Island to Wanaka, Lake Pukaki, Mount Cook, Lake Tekapo, Christchurch, Bank's Peninsula and more. We then hopped over to the North Island to finish the trip in Auckland and the surrounding areas.

The boysenberry wasn’t bred until 1926. Developed in California, it’s short shelf life limited its popularity in the US. As Simon & Garfunkel would express it: I prefer boysenberry jam to any ordinary jam!

I definitely want to go to New Zealand! I have been to Australia and really loved it there. New Zealand just looks so chill and beautiful. It is seriously far though. I remember the trip to Australia. It was forever.....

As a longtime SF resident, I find it amusing and sweet how the City is often your point of reference. Hope you’ll be able to make it back here at some point. Great video… we are traveling to Auckland and then to the S island next month. We are vegetarian so would be helpful if you remember and are able to list the restaurants and places you ate and loved

We just got back today (24 hours of travel) from AUS and NZ and it was AMAZING! Let us know when you go back, would love to meet up. We rented/hired cars everywhere we went and did what we want to do. Everyone we met was so damn friendly, true ambassadors.

Ja, NZ will do that to you. I went 4 years ago after dreaming about it for a long time and fell in love instantly. Been wanting to go back since. I am hoping next year will be the year. I went in February and found the weather was perfect.

You definitely covered the highlights of a trip to NZ! Shame the weather was bad but you kept saying how green the country is... thats why! We have a climate with lots of rain (not to mention cyclones!), but we also have lots of sun... And looks like you experienced the difference between the north and south islands.... theres a reason why over 3/4 of our population lives in the north island ... the beaches!

I love watching your videos and look forward to your next chapter! I just left Cambodia and they are desperately looking for volunteers to teach English to school children. I was asked by three different people if I would return to the country and come to their village. I'm wondering if you have considered volunteering places as you travel?
We've volunteered in some places but sadly it's not always a great experience for the school children involved as teachers come and go so frequently😔

The traditional baklava uses lots of butter between the phyllo leaves…am curious now what they used to make it vegan.
