  • Football clubs have a rich and diverse history dating back to the mid-19th century. Originating in England, football clubs emerged as local recreational teams, often representing specific communities or workplaces. The establishment of formal rules and the codification of the game in the 1860s laid the foundation for the development of organized club football.
As the sport gained popularity, clubs began to formalize their structures and compete against one another in local and regional competitions. The formation of leagues, such as the English Football League in 1888, provided a structured platform for clubs to compete regularly and establish their dominance.
Throughout the 20th century, football clubs evolved into powerful institutions, attracting significant fan bases and financial investments. Iconic clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich became synonymous with success both domestically and internationally, winning numerous league titles and prestigious European competitions.

Pippen said Jordan was trash until he came to the team

And he was right, I was in Boston Garden many times to see it. Even with Pippen, Bird had his way with them. Jordan was a very athletic ball hog, that's why he couldn't win when the great players were around in the 80's. Bird toyed with Jodan when he tried to guard him.

@@user-nj2vv2xm4j Being a ball hog and trash are two different things. Trash would imply he incapable of playing.Being a ball just means he likes to be the guy scoring. I wasn’t even bringing up Jordan vs Larry Bird even thought Larry Bird himself called Jordan basketball god. By the way your argument because Jordan lost to Celtics means he was trash would mean Bron is trash because he should have beating every team like Golden State Warriors. I am not saying he was a perfect player when started. Even Jordan admitted he needed to lose to learn. But to say he is trash isn’t true. If he was trash he wouldn’t been on the team for long.

@@donaldjohnson8522 Good point, he wasn't trash, just meant he wasn't the greatest of all time like everyone says. I seen him and all the greats many many times in Boston Garden. Jordan had one double over time game against Boston scoring 63 it was 49 I believe at end of regulation. Jordan also had shitty days, like the third game against Boston in the 86 playoffs. Boston was down 5 without McHale, chicago up by 5 going into the 4th. Bird took over scored 15, Jordan missed every single shot he took in the 4th and lost the game for Chicago. Ball hogs can kill a team too. Bird gave a lot of praise to other players all the time. Called Magic the best player he ever played against. Magic did things Jordan couldn't think of doing.I was there to see both many times.

@@donaldjohnson8522 Lebron would have never done what he did in todays game in the 80's he's a woosie, those were men in the 80's. I can't even watch this BS baby game now. We wanted blood in Boston and most of the time we got it. lol. Imagine someone like Dom Wilkins in today game? Would score 50 a game with this woosie ball they play today. Unwatchable.
