Well of course he didn't turn it around. That was a terrible team. Carmelo wouldn't have turned it around either.
He was just a few months removed from high school. If you take the media hype out of it and see it for what it is, that team definitely needed vets. To expect a high school player to turn around an entire franchise immediately is toxic pressure.

And he got his team to the finals just 4 years removed from high school. So yes, he exceeded that toxic pressure. What are you talking about. Kobe and MJ didn’t come in with a fraction of that type of pressure. I was talking about the pressure they put on an 18 year old kid to turn their franchise around instantly.

However, making it seem like the Bulls was some amazing organization before MJ can't be further from the truth.
