Hi Ron, Thanks for your quick response. I haven't bought my replacement bracket yet, as I am bringing my Spyder to the dealer on Thursday for an repair estimate. I have noticed ( after I bought my Spyder last June)that my lifting arm had been welded back together . So I assume that the previous owner had an issue with the lifting arm. My whole windshield rattles quite a bit when I travel on uneven roads. Depending on the repair estimate, I may choose the try to repair it myself. I will keep you updated. Thanks Denis
I am looking for a video that shows which panels to remove to get to the 2010 Spyder RT lifting windshield bracket. My windshield bracket would need to be replaced. If anyone knows of such a video, i would really appreciate it. Thanks Denis
You Start at the Mirrors, remove those. Then start removing the screws. Open the trunk remove, the top with the Pull-out clips and just continue. Take care when removing the windscreen brackets that you don't drop circlips down into the bike. Did you purchase one of my Alloy Windscreen arms ?
Great Video! Where can we get this aluminum arm part? We are in NY. The arm just broke on our 2012 Can Am Spyder RT SM5. The arm looks identical to the one replaced in your video. Part search suggests purchasing an entire assembly for over $600.00... Thanks in advance if you can provide info on this arm part.

Nice easy to follow instructions. This is a very high quality replacement for the woefully inadequate original arm
