Franks Life Changes yeah you can use CarPlay. And to watch dvd videos you will need to install a brake bypass. They’re all over amazon for about $10 to $15.
@@ImGerald - You shouldn’t need a special cable to watch DVD videos… this unit has a DVD player built-in. I believe CZcams can be watched through the Weblink option on this unit as well. How has the unit held up for you? I’m about to get this one installed.
Pioneer DMH-1500nex says webLink compatible but after downloading app says error initializing on phone app doesn’t show on pioneer unit…I see there’s been no help for anyone with this problem thought I’d try too…
Man that’s terrible. I just got a new pioneer and I don’t even see the WebLink app on my pioneer. But I love pioneer so I’m assuming , I’m missing something. Who knows lol. What unit do you have now ? Does it do mirroring ?

The Pioneer AVH-2500NEX is a very confusing SKU number. What is the difference in the 2550 and the newly released 2500? You would think the 2550 is newer based off the SKU #...but no, the 2500 is actually newer?
im using iphone 12 pro max with the latest firmware. but everytime when im using web link i cant access to youtube. as it keep prompt me to sync my youtube account. but when i tried sync the weblink from my phone youtube syncing of account will auto off. is there any solution to it ?
I downloaded the app on my phone but it says is unplugged. I got the Avic-w8500nex and can't use this feature with Weblink. Do you know why? I will appreciate responses. Thanks

I first connect it into my phone and the headunit screen would say 'not connected', I'll wait for my phone to finish downloading the apps then the phone says 'not connected', I removed then reconnected into the phone and everything popped up on the headunit screen.
you mislead people. WebLink gives you only those applications, that we see on radio screen in this video - NOT ANY APPLICATION ON YOUR PHONE!!! You cant even display a navigation :/
You misheard him.. he said "any application that exists on your phone that CAN work through Weblink will pop up" emphasis on CAN.... and you can only use navigation through Apple Carplay or Android Auto

The Weblink app works just with the USB cable
It comes with WebCast now which is the best feature, but only certain Pioneer stereos come with it…smh
On my 2660 there is no WebLink button even though it supposedly supports it. I can not get it to pop up for anything.

There is a CAST app on the Weblink, this mirrors your phone to the headunit.
