Thanks for putting all of the places you went to in the description box. I'm literally getting on a plane right now to New York City. My hometown. I will be visiting a bunch of spots that you mentioned in this video. Thank you for sharing.
I love you Shari
Great Video!!!
We enjoyed the video and will definitely try some of these spots! We have a few places that you may want to try too that are super authentic and not expensive. We have been documenting small mom-and-pop stores and restaurants in NYC for over 20 years! đ
Just found this comment! Thanks guys.
Number 9 listed. I always craved those during my stay in Hong Kong. Cheung Fun( rice noodles) with peanut butter sauce and sprinkle of sesame. Plus there's a sweet dark sauce.
Excellent job, well done.
I love Chinese food. Those places would be like heaven for me đ„ąđ„Ąđđđđ
Great picks... I'm now starving!đđŒ
I wanna go to New York just to try your food places excellent video now do one of Chinatown San Francisco

Thanks Jon and Andrana. The food looked delicious.

You did an awesome job with this!
Thanks Greg !!
Mi Li Wah is great! a favorite of mine for 50 years!
We stopped by the delux market in Elizabeth Street before watching this video, and were please to see it on your list, as it's a perfect place to pickup some great cheap Chinese food.
So much so, we bought too much and had to take it away with us.
Highly recommended đđ
Lived in NYC for over 20 years and I have to say your top picks are spot on!
David H I agree! I used to live there and I canât believe he found our hidden gems!
Go back to NYC. Its a good city. The city that never sleeps
I'm here now in Chinatown !! I'll try those yummy food !!
Love it đđ»đđ»đđ» thanks
Just ate the peanut noodles last night :) Soo goood.
I miss New York city!!! Just back from there, wanna go again..
My favorite place in Chinatown is the Golden Unicorn - it occupies 2-3 floors in a building on E Broadway, I've been going there for dim sum for 30 years and for 3 decades there has always been a wait to eat dim sum there because its so popular. If you go outside of dim sum hours the portion sizes are large and the food is amazing
Jennifer Holloway Golden Unicorn is by no means âcheap eatsâ though
@@dengster8884 its reasonably priced eats though đ it could be cheap eats when you consider 1 of their regular dishes is enough to feed 2 people because the portions are so big
What a GREAT video đ
Thank you and I will definitely go to Chinatown to eat, I love Chinese food.đđ€©đ„°đđ€
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Definitely some places to go next visit. Just stayed at The Allen Hotel. Made the walk to Little Italy for Tiny Shanghai soup dumplings
Forgot to add that I will for sure visit Deluxe Green Bo.
Congee Village was right there too and we didnât go. :(.
Thanks again!
Nice guide on Chinatown, looks good!
Letâs go đ„ł
Im so hungry, those pork pieces at the beginning, they look so yummy. Great video thank you
Great on both amazing
Going to new york in 2 weeks im so excited ^^
Been going to Sau Voi , Mei Li Wah Bakery and Fried Dumpling for years ..Always take overseas guests there, they love it!
Great video! Only missing bubble tea
I went to Deluxe Green Bo last year with my wife and oh my the food was delicious, the size of the meals was huge and most impressive we only paid like 20 bucks for a humongous noodle plate with veggies and prawns and 2 kind of dim sum orders. we couldn't believe it and not even our friends back in Spain when we showed them the pictures. a complete win for sure
Instant subscriber thanks to this video.
Thanks for this excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT video!!! I am embarrassed though as a now (32 years this month 7/15) ex-New Yorker (born & raised in Manhattan), Iâd only been to Chinatown TWICE in my life and the last time was a year before I moved out of NYC in 1986 hanging out with friends and we went to a restaurant (no, I donât remember the name of the place) at 3am and had a full course meal that was superb!
Like I believe many of us native New Yorkers are, we take what we believe to be the tourist spots for granted, Iâve never been to the Empire State Building and Iâve only been to the Statue of Liberty twice in my life first time as an elementary school student and the second time was when I took my son there when he was 8 or 9 and that was the last time as I was done doing the tourist thing (I told him the next time he goes there, itâll be with his own kids).
We tend to take these things for granted as Iâve yet to go to Little Italy as an example but I did make it to Windows on the World, the famed restaurant on the 110th floor of the Twin Towers.
I must check out a couple of these spots next month when I go home for my annual visit. Thanks for the list!
Prosperity Dumpling is way better than Fried Dumpling, and they're finally back after being closed for ages! Their new location is called King Dumplings, at 74 Hester St.
Hey, thanks for your suggestion. Am visiting Chinatown soon, and I was researching about the dumplings and it looks yummy and I would like to try it, and to come at this location!! Question, since its my first time ordering dumplings, is the order comes individually? Or if I order one order of dumplings, it comes, say like 3 or 4? Also, I was reading that dumplings comes fried and boiled. In that location they has the boiled ones? And does the dumplings have meat inside? Or is it comes in different kinds, such as meat, vegetables, ect? And/or what else inside? Thanks in advance for answering my questions.
Nah bro go to tasty dumpling itâs around the corner of fried dumpling and so theyâre the same price but tasty has more meat and a thinner dumpling skin
Ahh this is making me so hungry... I need to go downtown to Chinatown stat!
Great information...... and they say you canât eat cheap in NYC..... great video.....
here be barr is the best of you tube
Some serious portions of food and did you try the chicken feet at the Yum Cha great video mateđđđđđđ
good list..
We went to Fried Dumpling today after watching your vid and boy was it good! We got the Fried pork buns to share. Oh boy was it good. We went to get some more but the line got long. I guess everyone loves it too! We're definitely gonna hit it up next time we're there.
Hi. Just subscribed to your channel. Im a cyclist in connecticut. Ive cycled all over ct for 4 yrs and recently purchased a pretty pricey electric bike. Ive ventured out to rhode island, Massachusetts, and Newyork, then finally NYC. Ive been here when i was very young but dont remember the city that much. I did a ton of research, and watched hours of youtube videos to educate myself with cycling in the city. I fell in love with the city .my first ride was north on the hudson river greenway , before the Gw bridge and biked all the way down and around pass battery park to the end pass the two bridges. Checked out freedom tower. Times sguare, central park, and finally back up the hudson greenway. Ill be back many more times. Ive been watching a lot of your videos and gotten many ideas. What i cant find though are more food that can be ordered and eaten outside. Im very nervous leaving my bike, even locked so im looking for places to eat where i can just pull up, order and eat. Any recommendations? Or maybe you can make a possible video for cyclist? Those couple of places in china town i will be Definetly be checking out. Thanks for the great videos.
That's awesome.
I also love noodle village on Mott street. It's right across from the chinatown arcade and menand some friends would go there after playing games all.day (before the remodel) every now and again we meet up.and eat there still. Soup dumplings are some of my favorites there as well as their ginger chicken and scallion soup
True. China Town, Little Italy..... Many good restaurant outlets in Big Apple.
The 1st restaurant I first visited Big Apple was Sbarro, then the above China Town restaurant. The waiter asked for tips after lunch. Then we knew must give tips in NYCâșâșâșâșâș
