Why PewDiePie is Losing Subscribers

- PewDiePie hasn’t grown at all in the past year.
This is because he’s losing and gaining the same amount of subscribers which is keeping him at 111M subscribers.
This isn’t because people have stopped liking him.
It’s because:
1. He’s slowed down - He’s not uploading as frequently as he used to
2. The content has switched genres so many times over the years leaving subscribers lost as to what to expect next from Felix.
With just 2.5 million views per video on average (which isn’t bad by the way), is roughly 2% of his total subscribers.
Compare that to Mr. Beast who is 44 million subscribers (155M) in front but has a whopping 146M views on average per video which is around 94% of his total subscribers.
While he may not have the same viewer engagement rate as Mr. Beast, PewDiePie seems happier than ever in his personal life as he steps away from CZcams and shows that views aren’t everything.

He is retired. What I mean is that he doesn't follow the CZcams algorithm to stay relevant anymore or do crazy videos. He aint competitive anymore. He just uploads videos whenever he feel likes it, the way he wants. Plus, he is a dad now, so that will make him busy more.

No stupidity, no downfalls, no scams, no apology videos. The guy came, conquered and stepped down. He never became greedy and realised that what he has is enough for his family to let them live comfortably in peace. And for me, the best gift is he can show his future generations how it all started right up till the end. He is the example of how people should live their lives and what they should value.

Most of the OG Subs don't stay for content anymore. They mostly just stay for him. Watching their favorite youtuber enjoying his life, doing things he love gives us this kind of second-hand happiness. Like some people said, it's like raising a child, except this child is not a child but a full grown man and you are in no way legally tied together and he most likely doesn't know you but still feel your presence.
Don't forget that lots of his subscribers are from early CZcams days. Many of those accounts are probably deleted or inactive now.
