This is the greatest movie of all time. Spider-Verse wishes it could win three hundred Oscars like this did, for five years in a row. It has remained poignant and powerful through its revolutionary visual effects, touching storyline, excellent voice cast and pitch-perfect score. The fact that the movie tries so hard in being original, fresh and unique is something that I can't quite cope with compared to other projects. I will walk until the ends of the earth to make sure this art is preserved in the Library of Congress and everyone's homes in some shape or form before I settle in a grave. 20/10, would watch again for a quarter.

His name is based off of the Greek God of Death Thanatos(fitting, since he literally worships death) and his father A'Lars aka Mentor was the brother of Zeus banished by him long ago for following in their father Kronos' peaceful ways. It's in an old Captain Marvel comic from the late 60's.
Derp Man The first time he had landed on earth, his powers were stolen by the nonexistent shaggy meme so he was just an inteligent purple monkey, then he went to Asia to test his powers but he committed the mistake to eat with forks, that's when this scene begins. The entire country of Asia gives his most powerful attacks using monkeys with boomerangs and harmless flamingos, and by some strange reason a flying pug. In the end, he is sent to the next universe and that's when he got the infinity stones so he could get revenge.
So here are all the things i gathered and think they do not fit and/or don't keep up or just straight up dumb in general: - How Bulk, (the protagonist) is in a warehouse but the place he leaves is a medieval castle. - How there's suddenly an archer shooting at him from an opposing (or the currently burning) castle. - How Bulk is now suddenly in an Australian savannah rather than being in a forest shown from the last scene. (oh and the fact that there's a koala with a hat playing with a boomerang.) - How the military is sending jets to a desert instead of the lush green environment Bulk is in. - How Bulk suddenly managed to sneak in a farm. - How Bulk is running 240 Kilometers per hour. - How the military is sending tanks, jets, airplanes, bombs and armed forces to kill a single target while there are civilians around. - How dogs are suddenly able to sit on and play on the swings. - How the military is sending their soldiers in a city rather than the grass fields Bulk is fleeing to. - How Geckos have the magical ability to type on laptops all of a sudden. - How the Nazi forces suddenly appeared to bomb Bulk with an airplane - How there are pirates throwing cannonballs to Bulk even though they are in an ocean and he is on land far from a natural water source. - How there's randomly a super hero/villain dropping from the sky to his independent doom. - How Bulk suddenly appeared in a desert instead of the Fields he was on moments ago. - How literally Zeus himself wanted to strike Bulk down for some reason. - How a guy sitting on the stairs of a wild west bar survived a direct contact from a bomb explosion. - How the military is sending in submarines even though Bulk is on a desert. - How bulk appeared on train tracks on a suburban even though he was stranded on a desert moments ago. - How there's literally just a random dude wearing a raccoon head licking dirt from an animal's paw markings on the ground. - How the dog from earlier on in the movie suddenly gained the ability to fly and has a cape. - How Bulk just appeared in a western mesa again with a cowboy going along with him this time. - How the captain who was once driving a plane is now driving a jet. - How there's a literal dude on a nuke about to hit ground in a matter of seconds just hanging in there. - How they literally just dropped a nuke on a desert for a single person - And finally how they are able to view the nuclear explosion from so far up close with a camera.
4:11 Loving the lenght of this shot. You take the mental image and let it simmer in your brain for a while. You absorb the character's scared expression, while it highlights the immense height at which he was dropped, accompanied by the somber musical score. Just sublime cinema. Denis Villeneuve did it again.
I love that the characters were casually doing their stuff while "Bulk" was being chased down by people that were trying to kill him. Also I bet the scenes were made in somebody's basement 💀

Derp Man The first time he had landed on earth, his powers were stolen by the nonexistent shaggy meme so he was just an inteligent purple monkey, then he went to Asia to test his powers but he committed the mistake to eat with forks, that's when this scene begins. The entire country of Asia gives his most powerful attacks using monkeys with boomerangs and harmless flamingos, and by some strange reason a flying pug. In the end, he is sent to the next universe and that's when he got the infinity stones so he could get revenge.

So here are all the things i gathered and think they do not fit and/or don't keep up or just straight up dumb in general:
- How Bulk, (the protagonist) is in a warehouse but the place he leaves is a medieval castle.
- How there's suddenly an archer shooting at him from an opposing (or the currently burning) castle.
- How Bulk is now suddenly in an Australian savannah rather than being in a forest shown from the last scene. (oh and the fact that there's a koala with a hat playing with a boomerang.)
- How the military is sending jets to a desert instead of the lush green environment Bulk is in.
- How Bulk suddenly managed to sneak in a farm.
- How Bulk is running 240 Kilometers per hour.
- How the military is sending tanks, jets, airplanes, bombs and armed forces to kill a single target while there are civilians around.
- How dogs are suddenly able to sit on and play on the swings.
- How the military is sending their soldiers in a city rather than the grass fields Bulk is fleeing to.
- How Geckos have the magical ability to type on laptops all of a sudden.
- How the Nazi forces suddenly appeared to bomb Bulk with an airplane
- How there are pirates throwing cannonballs to Bulk even though they are in an ocean and he is on land far from a natural water source.
- How there's randomly a super hero/villain dropping from the sky to his independent doom.
- How Bulk suddenly appeared in a desert instead of the Fields he was on moments ago.
- How literally Zeus himself wanted to strike Bulk down for some reason.
- How a guy sitting on the stairs of a wild west bar survived a direct contact from a bomb explosion.
- How the military is sending in submarines even though Bulk is on a desert.
- How bulk appeared on train tracks on a suburban even though he was stranded on a desert moments ago.
- How there's literally just a random dude wearing a raccoon head licking dirt from an animal's paw markings on the ground.
- How the dog from earlier on in the movie suddenly gained the ability to fly and has a cape.
- How Bulk just appeared in a western mesa again with a cowboy going along with him this time.
- How the captain who was once driving a plane is now driving a jet.
- How there's a literal dude on a nuke about to hit ground in a matter of seconds just hanging in there.
- How they literally just dropped a nuke on a desert for a single person
- And finally how they are able to view the nuclear explosion from so far up close with a camera.
Well he is purple so I think that explain more of it.
1Thing you missed:
There are literally children playing in a soccer field in the middle of nowhere.
Fun fact. The director’s commentary just goes silent for this entire segment. The one time you actually wanna hear what he has to say and he’s mute.
He probably doesn't remember making this because he was high and was just as confused as we were.
