Boston offered him more money than Miami did. How is that so bad? The fans were salty because he went to the heat who were their biggest rival at the time and had just eliminated them
@@nickrenton2853he wanted to win them old niggas wasn’t going to get him another ring so he took less for more in the long run to rings with 2 great franchises
As an old(er) school NBA fan, Ray don't get too much love like MJ, Kobe, Magic, etc... but make no mistake, if you are picking names from a hat and you pick Ray Allen, you ain't gonna be disappointed.
Good ole Jesus. I think he had to sacrifice his game so much in Boston, a lot of more casual fans just view him as a catch and shoot 3 point guy. They never got to see his versatility and tenacity. Like what he had to do in Milwaukee and Seattle. Same thing with Chris Bosh. Ppl were so used to him shining on a really stinky team, they fail to acknowledge his growth and accomplishments when he went to Miami.
Highly underrated and tbh I’d rank him 3rd best sg above dwade, he was the 2nd best on the Celtics, the reason Miami won in 2013 and the 2nd all time in 3pt
I was at this game. I was in college in Winston-Salem, and drove to Charlotte to hopefully see Ray break the record. My dad is from Wisconsin, so I grew up watching the Bucks, and Ray became my childhood idol. Watched basically every game he played for the Bucks, Sonics, Celtics, and Heat. It was so obvious he was not trying to break the record on this day in Charlotte. I still remember him taking a step inside the three point line every time he touched the ball. It was no “secret” haha.
This dude is from the the Carolinas Sumter SC to be exact and couldn't break the record in the Carolinas where he is from and don't claim what a sell out
he wanted it in boston, against LA, against another great in kobe, not against charlotte and a jealous guy stephen jackson aka stack “mr fake tough guy”😂
Boston treated him so bad in the end
Now brown has the same treatment for past 5 years

absolutely right
@@jamesbaldwin6235if I remember correctly they gave JET a contract before Ray. Also, Ainge tried to get rid of him from jump street
Mama Allen always attending every game man what a rlly good mother🫶🏻
Least she can do for never having to work again.
He cared about Boston more than they did
Tf does this even mean you dork
Damn. Ray looking like his mom out there on the court.

i believe you. Bucks Ray Allen was nice.
If Kobe and mj are in the hat? I’m pissed 😂
Well said, I feel like Hakeem Olajuwon is in the same category

Imagine being that good of a 3 point shooter that you get to decide when & where you wanna break the record 😂🙌🏾
Those are two GREAT GUYS who also happen to be two of the best to ever do it.
They both got them Popeye calves too
I was about to say the same thing about Ray’s calves but yes his stick out from the front
We can always hate Ray for going to Miami as Celtics fans but we'll never forget what he meant for us during his time here Thank you Ray
Shout out Ray Allen & My Dude Vince Carter ✌
Still the best calf
Till this day I still haven't seen a basketball player's calf as big as his. And I've seen him play in person. Calves are huge
@@davidjohnson5243 q rich and Stephen jackson and cam newton might be the only ones even close
one of the great baller yet so humble in every game😊
Boy look just like his mama
Seattle SuperSonics with Allen and Lewis were straight killers.
Yep Brent Barry as well
A man who understands the moment.
Best looking shooting form ever for me.
I always wanted calves like Ray.
Ray Allen is wearing a Louie Dampier jersey lmao, he was the ABA's all timd points leader and a prototype modern shooter
It was is idol and motivation growing up. He's spoken about it before.
@@LynxStarAuto that’s awesome. I had absolutely no idea, is there any place where I can find him talking about him by chance
Steph watching like ⌛️🤨
TWO ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!!!!!
2 legends.. man
Two absolute legends!!
His mother is gorgeous 😍
Look at those calves 😮
ray allen’s mom looks like him in a wig they are actual twins

And against the late great Kobe Bryant. I know he hated that lol
Lol naw he didn’t he actually respected Allen. If it was someone else for sure.
The late over rated inefficient kobe bryant
Kobe hated that for sure... they were rivals since his Bucks days. Love it! Shuttlesworth was the man!
@@_________. Bingo!
Classy
Nah he wanted to do it against Kobe 😂 Ray ain't slick
On the only Celtic fan I know birthdays too
Now that lil guy in Oakland is gonna end up with 3 times the 3's when he's done
San Fransisco
Sad ray allen only started shooting 3’s in his 30’s.
So wierd that he wasnt a 3 pt assassin when he came, he cause has one of the smoothest shots
Yep and 10,000 more attempts, the game has changed to nothing but 3s, if Allen played today his record would be unbreakable
Wow, Could’ve Put A Bundle On Under 0.5 Threes For Ray Allen & Came Up 💰 lol
Congratulations Ray true fact right there Lol.
Ray made the same face as mama Allen lol
👍🏻
Jesus Shuttlesworth!
only to be broken by .....
I say no you not 😂😂😂
Dude gets pressed at lofe 💀💀 he bored
Against the Lakers 😂
There’s something in that charlotte water
I don't know about 3 times but alloottttt 😂
🔥
Are they wearing galoshes/ rain boots? Lol that's funny stuff. Didn't notice till the 3rd time I watched it.
As soon as I realized it was against LA, I clicked off of this video…. Salute to Allen though

Hate it how they lost that game. Ray had two dunks in that game
What with the shoes lmaaaoo
Should have broke it in Milwaukee or Carolina but I’m pretty sure he don’t rep Carolina like that like KG

He is so humble. He should've have broken it in charlotte. He still holds the record either way.
What are those??????
Tool the L that night lakers all day Kobe was ready to take the W
Why are they wearing those boots
Why are they wearing big rubber boots???
UCONN
Chef is the holder now
Point shaving 🪒
Not if you’re still shooting and making the ball. No shot is guaranteed.
Sound like he got paid to break it in Boston.
SMH He gets paid for every game he plays.
And he was pissed when Steph passed him.. LOL
I believe if he was able to shoot more 3s (due to era), he would have a better career. But coaches didn't allow it when he was in his prime
