It's a good thing that they ended their beef (everyone except Rondo). It's funny how Rondo has been one of the main catalysts to keep the beef brewing, yet he went and signed with the rival LA Lakers some years later. I think the childish behaviour you speak on generally comes from having the competitive "FU if you ain't on my team attitude" and that's just what worked for him. Even Doc Rivers said he was the culture setter on that Celtics teams, you can't do that successfully if you're childish, nor would you last 20 years in the league.

As crazy as it sounds now, back then people didn't think you could build a team that was so top-heavy.. teams of that era that won a lot of games were the Pistons, Pacers, Spurs of the world and there was more of an emphasis and the view was that great teams are great top to bottom. Ray had to go to the big dogs Kg and Pierce to get the fans back on his side. Even still he’ll never be one of my favorites again though.

All this sh when in fact they all played just 1/3 of their career in Boston at most. Except Pierce.

Allen is a better man than the grudge holders. There is no real beef if one guy does not accept the beef. So, it was fake like a vegetarian squabble with no real protein substance. 🤔 Carbs , if you will that burn off and leave the petty guys light headed.☺️
Time heals all! But, it should surely be noted, the petty guys showed their true character. They can be perhaps be forgiven but their actions cannot be forgotten. It must have been a heavy burden to carry a huge ton bucket of crap on shoulders for some many years.
Good for Allen to travel the high road and not let negative vibes bring him down.
Ray, BTW, don't forget to wear the Miami ring to the next big Celtics affair😆 😎 .

Wow so kg didnt even invite Ray? I take back what i said. KG is still a child. Ray had show up unannounced and uninvited to get shown respect.

I never would’ve forgave him, in the end. They could’ve got one more ring in Boston with him. He went to the very team they was trying to beat. It tipped the balance scale, sorry Ray. You’re foul.........

Ray Allen leaving the Celtics to go to the Heat is the same as Kevin Durant leaving the Thunder to go to the Warriors
