Know what helps when you're doing a "history of" video? When you go chronologically instead of jumping all around. Just something to consider if you were ever to redo this one.

This "history" is very broad. It sounds like all this information came off of Wikipedia articles. As far as history goes you keep jumping all over the place too mixing events not even close. Id recommend you attempt to actually go into details and get interesting information rather than lethargically reciting common knowledge of the games.

That would be the end of the anime. A show aimed at noobs of pokemon around the age of 10, having a moron main character makes it more relatable for kids.

~9:00 You mention how it's the first to be rendered in 3D. You should have said "It was the first of the main games to be rendered in 3D" as Pokemon Stadium/Colosseum are 3D, unless you were refering to the 3DS' actual 3D functionality.

Before the debut of the Pokémon TV show, anime only catered to about 10-15% of the market... a very dedicated part of the market, but not huge (with the exception of Japan). What Pokémon did was just explode that when it started airing on Kids' WB in the late 90s. Soon enough, everyone wanted to watch the show, and now anime is no longer this niche thing. If it weren't for Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z wouldn't have put Toonami on the map.

No disrespect or anything, but i never did understand the appeal of Pokemon growing up. Doesn't really strike me as cool, i mean the concept is cool, if not questionable on so many levels. But i always felt Digimon was better.

+Cameron “BlueCameron13” Broadway they had to resign the sprites into a 3d rendered engine for x and y. They spent all the time they would have for making new pokemon by instead updating all the pokemon. Gen 7 will definitely have tons of new pokes.
