I have a severely handicapped child in a wheelchair and people always try to “ignore” the people in wheelchairs, like it’s forbidden, but they LOVED BEING INCLUDED and being treated like a normal human being!! I LOVE that he does this in his shows, people in wheelchairs are exactly that, THEY ARE STILL PEOPLE!!!!

The lady understands that there are people out there who are going through worse and Logan now considers himself more badass bcoz of that recognition from Matt. The more you understand about the psychology of humor and how fine a line divides insult from humor the more interesting it gets.
I work in disability, and a lot of people don’t realise that a lot of people in wheelchairs with outwardly severe looking disabilities, often are just trapped inside their bodies, with a fully working mind. It’s of course not always the case, but a reminder to please be kind ❤️ Thanks Matt.

Severe RA is no joke. My sister-in-law got it, and became blind. I got it, and have lived 9 long painful years with it so far, even after having tried every biologic pharmaceutical from Humera to Kevzara. Nothing helps. The doctors stopped prescribing pain meds after the opioid scandal, so laughter is the only endorphin releasing thing besides sex, that works. I’m sure that’s why that lady was at the show, to feel good, if only for a short while. Remember, rheumatoid arthritis is the disability/killer you can’t see.
