Usualy when you love a song so much you have it in your head playing on repeat.
With one song at background like this all that is left is hearing the second song and the brain does the rest.
That is the only logical explanation.

From what I heard from folks who go to music school, it's pretty foundational to know your beat and recognize it in songs (both songs have the same beat, thus it is so easy to merge them. And the second half of the video had a much faster beat, thus the music became faster). For professional musicians, it only takes about 20 seconds to figure out the beat of a song.
Oh, and when you are wondering what my comment has to do with yours: The beat is the ground basis for every song and influences the sound immensely. Two songs with the same beat and VERY similar melody are most likely to go together well.
How someone wouldn't?

The cat is having its head pushed repeatedly. The video is a loop thankfully so its not being pushed for the whole duration but its sad anyway. Watch a cat video where a cat actually nods or bobs their head. The chin and neck move differently than this cat who is clearly being pushed from the back of the head.

I'm really starting to like these "fusion" songs. I got started on it cause folks were mixing the Madalorian theme with a bunch of other stuff-- I think it went really well with Carol of Bells. Anyway, thanks for making things for us to enjoy.
You should listen to the mashup of the Mandalorian theme and the Rocky theme (i think it's by Samuel Kim) it makes me laugh 😂
