I agree with Chris, I thought the whole car ride was very awkward and not normal. It seem like they are still in relationship mode at not CZcams let’s have fun mode. Those of us with relationships at home that are much more mature than his can see it. Not complaining about it in general just not sure that’s what I want to watch develop on the channel when I use this as an escape for my hobby. Definitely don’t want to see the aftermath of a home problem bleed into the channel but do what you do and I’ll decide what content I view.

That blue is so different from a typical performance car. I like that he didn’t go with what almost everyone will and that is Red, Black and a darker blue, this color is far more unique and like Cleetus says, they like to go with the unusual and uncommon, just so they aren’t just like everyone else.
Just wait till Chevy comes out with their C8 with the ZO6 package or the ZR1 package. A twin turboed hybrid with all wheel drive, using electric motors for the front wheel power. If what they are saying is true, it is supposed to have over 800 hp at the rear wheels from a 5.4 liter, flat plane crank V8. If that is true, I think that Chevrolet will have the car that will take out the European competition for a long time to come.

I work at the factory that makes the mirrors for the C8. When they started using this blue it stood out from all the other colors by far. Really grabs your attention. Nice to see it on a complete C8. Great choice! Looks awsome brother!! Very cool!!😎
There's a reason ford has a similar color called "grabber blue".
These blues are unlike any other colors when it comes to grabbing the attention, and not in a puke yellow/green kinda way. Very inviting of a color.

Its only "slow" because the RPM isnt fully unlocked... It literally was redlining at 4500. It needs to be driven 500 miles first.

Therefore, its not getting all the power it has to offer. They do this to prevent idiots from crashing their brand new car because they're not used to the power.

It doesn’t have the full power, there’s a break in period, the redline is at 4500 and I believe after 500 or 1500 miles not sure which it changes to 6500. Stock is 495hp so it’s nothing too crazy personally I think they should’ve been at least 520-550hp stock

@Premoe66 Nic Premoe First of all, the ZL1 did not make 430hp, go look up actual dyno numbers. The engine made around 585hp and was shifted at 7500rpms. It was something chevrolet did for insurance purposes back in the 60s. I myself have an L88 1968 Dana Camaro, same engine but with a slightly tamer cam and an iron block. My car was advertised to run 11.50 @ 120 or better when sold (back in 68 on bias ply tires) with a 4 speed at an NHRA sanctioned track. So no sorry, the ZL1 is not as slow as you think it is. Its still an all aluminum solid lifter big block that revs crazy high. Second of all the C3 corvette is widely renowned as one of the most timeless corvettes made, so your opinion there is a little off of what most people actually believe in. 3rd of all, the C8 is listed as running an 11.2 in the quarter from GM. So yes I will state that a 1969 ZL1 Vette would be a good match up even to this day. There are a few examples of these cars and the L88 vettes running low 11s. And I believe there was one on slicks clicking off a 10.99 back in the day.

I'm just being honest with you lol. It would be a close race. You can very well put the power down in that car with a proper set of tires that are not bias plys from the 60s.
