Thank you so much Miranda, not only for showing those marvellous books, decorations and cards, but also for sharing those feelings and emotions that, undoubtedly, help us a lot. It's crucial for people to know and be aware that people who admire, have their own ups and downs and their "under the weather" weeks. Said that, your book suggestions and stationery are great as usual, in particular I would buy all those cards right now!!!!

Closet and Botts immediately made me think of 'Flourish and Blotts', the bookseller from Harry Potter! Another lovely video with lots of lovely books and other goodies to tempt me. The decorative eggs are gorgeous and so is the 5 minute journal.

Thank you for all this lovely inspiration! Now I want to reread Agatha Christie but I am also tempted by the Bloomsbury book. In my country we always bring in branches from willow or birch during lent and put in water to sprout leaves and we also decorate them with feathers, little eggs, bunnies and all sorts of "Easter-things"(traditions vary a bit on the country). This year I have knitted little decorations for Easter like chickens and small lambs (have to admit the lambs must belong to a new, rare breed, the are not immediately recognizable as lambs...)

Miranda u are not good for my budget!🤣🤣🤣. We heading to Europe and London this summer. I will bring just carryon to London and heavy Check-in bags on my flight home, full of books, stationery, and beautiful mugs from UK.

I so enjoyed this variety of gorgeous cards, decorations and books! What a feast for the eyes thank you Miranda. I have a soft spot for Brambly Hedge and the vintage designs are heavenly. Garden Stories especially stands out for me, what a cover! I'm reading the first in Lord Peter Wimsey series at the moment and enjoying it, it reminds me a bit of Jeeves & Wooster. I hope you're feeling much recovered!

I adore beatrix potter and brambly hedge, the artwork is so beautiful. I shall have to look out for cards. I used to collect the China in both Mrs tiggywinkles and I couldn’t tell u how much brambly hedge China I have or what I have as it’s all stored in my parents loft. I hope to soon have them bring it all down for me and I can’t wait to find out what treasures I had collected back in the day when I worked for house of Fraser and got discount. I have all the books and brambly hedge of dvd x simply love it x

So glad you mentioned Elizabeth Harbour. I have purchased three of her wooden brooches. They are so whimsical! I wore the Song Thrush pin today to an afternoon play.
They brooches are lovely too! I have bought them for myself, and they make great gifts too!
I used to do an Easter tree using branches from the garden, my current garden doesn’t have the right sort of trees but maybe a couple of branches from the florist might do the trick. So for now it’s a hand-crocheted basket with the decorated Easter eggs. Lovely video as always!

Hi Miranda, lovely video as always :) I've been doing the gratitude journal every morning and evening (getting better at not forgetting!). I find it hard because I'm in the habit of 'missing' the little blessings each day. It's really good just to set you up for the day and wind down and reflect in the evenings. The pink one is very pretty. I didn't realise it came in different colours!

Oh, I loved this video, Miranda! So many beautiful things 🖤 That tree.... Just gorgeous. I'm just about to begin Behold, Here's Poison by Georgette Heyer. Some beautiful cards caught my attention in my local bookshop recently. They were by Eric Ravilious. The light in them is incredible. I think I remember you mentioning his name before. I'll be looking out for more of his work. Glad you're feeling brighter. Happy reading xx

Those Rosemary Sutcliff children's books are GORGEOUS!! I didn't realize they are being reprinted. I didn't even think to look; I've just picked up older editions from library book sales. So great to know! I'm glad you shared.

Those Folio books look lovely! I am hoping to start a Classics collection and have been working on a spreadsheet comparing the different collections out there. Not sure if you have done a video comparing classics out there, i.e. Folio, Easton, Everyman's, etc. Thank you for talking about the Easter tree in last year's Easter video as well as this one! Gave me the idea to do one too.

I feel like I just spent a wonderful afternoon browsing in a beautiful bookstore/card and gift shop. I love (and want) all of the items you highlighted! I've just finished a wonderful little book I highly recommend,
"Love and Saffron" by Kim Foy. It is a epistolary novel of the blossoming friendship between two female writers in the 1960's. I found it just charming. Glad you are feeling better and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!💕

I don’t know if you’re planning on a trip down into Derbyshire any time soon, but I’ve been to Scarthin Books in Cromford this morning and they’ve got quite a few Alison Uttley books in (a few less since my visit 😂). Just thought I’d mention as I know you love her writing and of course Derbyshire is beautiful and well worth a visit anyway xx

I was wondering if you could recommend any seasonal comfort audiobooks on audible? I'm especially interested in the garden theme. I normally read in a traditional format but I had a very stressful month and was hoping to find something wonderfully soothing and seasonal to help me get back into the swing of spring. Death Of A Bookseller is now ready on my Kindle. I was wondering whether you know John Dunning’s detective novels involving an antiquarian bookshop in Denver and its owner (ex-policeman Cliff Janey). While reading very exciting plots about rare books and people hunting them down, I also learnt a lot about the antiquarian book trade and, in the first novel (Booked To Die), about a stunning edition of Moby Dick illustrated by Rockwell Kent.
