Places to visit in the Philippines:
1. For foods:
* Tagaytay City, Cavite (2nd summer capital aside from seeing the Taal volcano-lake view, People's Park, Skyranch)
* Angeles, Pampanga (culinary capital of the Phils).
2. In Manila: you can visit the Anthropology museum, National Museum and Intramuros
3. Malls like SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and SM Megamall and Shangrila Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
4. There's the Ayala Museum in Greenbelt mall in Makati at the back of Ayala Glorietta Mall.
5. In Taguig: BGC for the Market Market mall, 5-star bars and restaurants, Singapore-like landscape and the American World War 2 cemetery.
6. In Baguio City, Cordillera Autonomous Region: the cool weather (1st summer capital), strawberry farm, tribal dances of Ifugao and Igorot indigenous people, Sagada and Mt. Pulag hiking and the Banaue rice terraces.
7. Bamboo Organ of St. Joseph Parish Church in Las Piñas City
8. Pagsanjan falls in Cavinti, Laguna, Mt. Makiling hiking and hot springs in Calamba, Laguna.
9. Visit Albay, Bicol for Mount Mayon, strawberry farm and deer farm.
10. Vigan, Ilocos for the Spanish colonial period houses same as in Intramuros, Manila.

The food is better with company. Have a nice time in my hometown Makati.
Plant -based food is healthier and has long term benefits. I myself have adapted this lifestyle of eating veggies. I was there in Manila long time back. I like the friendly, hospitable people. I hope you enjoy your stay Christina.

Manila now is having a modern city within the city. We don't need to go now in other modern cities around the world to visit them bcoz what they've now are we have too. But of course, the best parts of the Philippines are those beautiful beaches and natural nature site seeing and the best weather we have.

Hi there Christina. First of all, Welcome to the Philippines! Thank you for choosing the Philippines. I am sorry to inform and advise that this may not be a good season for your planned vacation/travels here. We are already on our rainy season. Since this is a tropical country, rains are very unpredictable. One time it will be sunny and hot, then later it will just pour out rain and stop. Please be pre-informed as well that our roads may have heavy traffics and will be messy due to flooding and clogs in sewers because of high volume rains.
If you need to be out on travel, please make sure you wear your rain gears and clothes that are ready to be wet. Also, bring extra clothes as well if you need to change your wet/soaked clothes.

I travel to The Philippines 🇵🇭 for time to time, as recent as last year, 2022.
There are ways to get vegan food in The Philippines 🇵🇭. You can choose Chinese 🇨🇳 food , Indian 🇮🇳 food, Mexican 🇲🇽 food, Italian food.
As for Filipino food, pancit, vegetable lumpia, fried rice 🍚, potato 🥔 dishes.
Do check the music. Vegan singer Bryan Adams was there in March 2023. Bruno Mars, Sting, Backstreet Boys were also here. As for Filipino singers, Morissette Amon, Katrina Velarde, Michael Pangilinan, Daryl Ong are popular.

I also eat vegan during certain times of the year. My hometown San Francisco has plenty of vegan Indian, Chinese and Mexican food. I use those foods as a way to alter Filipino food to become vegan. 😋. And I did travel to The Philippines 🇵🇭 and Singapore 🇸🇬.
Weather in the Philippines is unpredictable sometimes sunny then suddenly it's rainy,,its more fun in the Philippines
From what I have seen on CZcams, Philippines looks like a lot of fun.

I moved from all meat diet to full plant based diet last year and it's the best decision i made.
So happy it's working well for you! I think it's a really healthy way of eating. As long as you supplement with b12, eat enough calories and eat a variety of different foods 😄

I recommend you try i-Vegan restaurant in front Greenbelt Mall, Makati. They have some Filipino and international dishes as well, everything Vegan.

It's hard to vegan restaurants outside the city. Like in the countryside. Always Lechon (pork). Believe me
@christophemichaelclarence6003 I was just thinking about the town I live if there's vegan restaurants. There maybe some restaurants that may offer some dishes, not sure.
Haha yessss I would say the Philippines is one of the most difficult countries I've traveled to for vegans. So, I specifically stayed in Makati, which is known to have more options. I was very happy with the restaurants I went to, though ☺️

@@ChristinaDonnellyIndeed. Mostly Waterfalls and rice fields. Boracay is such a top overrated touristic destination which means It's really crowded. For the heads up, expect to see high price than usual there and quite of foreigners too
