I bought this in March 2013 and replaced the thermal fuse twice.

Saw your link on someone else video. Thank you for listing the parts as well as the demo! Gonna try & fix a pot I salvaged.

Does the direction of the fuse/thermister matter? If so, what is the correct direction?

Surely you jest. There's plenty of snowflake men who couldn't! Perhaps you know someone who is handy at DIY that can assist you.

Do you want me to do a video showing it step by step and all the tools needed? You need screwdrivers, wire cutter, wire stripper and wire crimper. The parts required are the thermal fuse, and the male and female spade connectors.

My pressure cooker still turns on and works but as soon as I turn it on it starts to hiss and all the water goes out and my food burns. I have it for about a year and this just started happening
Do you think it's a fuse problem?

@@reflectionofmera Probably the gasket is not fully seated in the lid, or the lid is not properly seated and locked on the base.
