UFC 300 has 8 champions or former champs on it. That the most highly skilled and prestigious card ever put together and its not even done yet
"former champs" could also mean out of prime fighters for all We know

Thats like one fight, one fight isnt gonna be turning a bland card into an amazing card.
299 is gonna be way better than 300, wouldnt even matter if mcgreggor fought at 300, 300 would still be shit compared to 299.

I had it tied 4-4, but gave the edge to 300 because Prochazka is my current favorite fighter.

At this point I think it’s awesome we’re getting 2 pretty stacked cards in a row versus a forgettable 299 and an overly packed 300.
I'll be the first to acknowledge main event for Ufc 300 is going to be a bomb shell of surprise (Khabib, McGregor, a legend, etc.. Uncle Dana has an ace up his sleeve💯).. That said, I would say Ufc 300 edges out Ufc 299 as a better card even while Ufc 300 main even is yet to be revealed)
@K1Kamikaze hmm 🤔.. I would agree although now that USADA is no longer part of Ufc Conor might come back, only he would be juiced to the gills😏💉💊.. Also though the fighters you mention in Pereira, Izzy and Khabib also make sense.. Rest assured Ufc has an ace up their sleeve and just waiting to reveal it at the right moment
I think the best fight on both cards is the DP v Benoit St Denis...
BSD is the future of the division taking on a gatekeeper...I'm more excited for that fight than basically all of them combined

300 is better no doubt even though 299 is stacked, Garbrandt vs Feiguriedo is on the prelims come on 😅
As of now, 299 is leagues above 300, and that's factoring in I can't stand watching Omally or Jailton almeida...so that says a lot.
I cant be the only one who sinply doesnt want to see Max fight Justin for the BMF belt that means nothing. I cant be the only one concerned this could turn Max into the next Tony Ferguson if not even worse since at least Tony was a proper lighweight when he got beaten by Justin. Max doesnt even have that. I just see the power damaging Max needlessly when hes already had so many wars. Dustin was already too much for Max, and he doesn't have the same power Justin has. With this being the smartest version of Justin who doesnt just recklessly throw anymore, I just dont see this going well for Max. And im a huge Max fan i know hes great...at Featherweight. Theres a reason hes not a lightweight though.
Mateusz Gamrot vs RDA is on paper a fun fight.
Gamrot is a very good wrestler but is not the biggest LW (size wise) and recently RDA is looking huge and even thought Gamrot has experience RDA has even more experience.
300 should add:
- Chimaev vs Usman 2
- Adesanya vs DDP
- Pereira vs Hill
- McGregor vs Chandler

Gaethjie vs max is going to be a slaughter by gaethjie. Especially when you remember what happened in dustin vs max. The power discrepancy is too large.
I'm genuinely worried it's going to be gaethjie vs ferg 2.0. Max is too tough for his own good and against a fighter like gaethjie that can be disastrous.

Push O'Malley to 300 or accept having him as a co-main and get Islam his fight before Ramadan. Stop icing him for Abu Dhabi there's plenty of muslims coming up who can headline if he loses. No one's buying that he's injured he's been asking for a fight since December and we see him doing gymnastics and wrestling on Instagram. No one fucking cares about O'Malley. He's a great fighter but he just isn't gonna be the next Conor. Accept it and keep the divisions moving and the next star will arise organically.

It’s less is it better - objectively, it’s worse. But, the expectations of ufc 300 are so large - larger than is actually possible - that 299 is surpassing expectations so it becomes better
it’s not though. If you said that ifc 300 was 301 - a card of no significance - and it was announced that on the prelims there would be former champions (sometimes 2) and mostly all ranked fighters, it would be insane but because we expect 300 to be a card that we can’t imagine, any fight announced will not go to that level because if it’s happening, we can imagine it.
