    FULL TRANSCRIPT:
After two weeks in the hospital, it was time for me to go home. My advice to others when going home from the hospital is to find out as much as possible before Make sure to get a contact person who you can call if something is wrong or you need to ask. Tell your relatives, the family what it is you think is difficult with all this new, what you are afraid of, so they have understanding. Why you are in a bad mood some days, why you are angry and grumpy. Remember daily routines look much like before. Except that it takes a little extra time in the morning when you need to change patches and clean and all that. My advice to others is to have everything in a toiletry bag so that you are prepped and ready with all the products you need. Always take it with you, even if you are only going for a walk. I have experienced several times that I go away as I usually do and then I go out and go with a friend and after five minutes I have talked the patch off. I started working 8 months after my surgery. My employer made sure that there were tasks I could do from home via the computer. It was very valuable to feel that you did good, got back routines, get up in the morning and get ready for work even if it was only for two hours of work, it was very very valuable. I have not made any major changes in my work. The only thing I can feel is that if I have to hold meetings and talk in front of a lot of people, I may find it a bit difficult at first, especially when there are people I do not know. It can also be difficult for the voice to be a little erratic, it can actually stop working all of a sudden sometimes. But it is often enough to drink a little water or rest for a minute and it will work out. When I started going back to the office, then I felt that everyday life was back, I was back in my normal life, my old life. To be patient, healing takes time. Even if you have thought that now I will do this, then I will be healthy, then I will heal then everything will be fine, the road to the goal is rarely straight. There will be setbacks that you need to deal with, but it will also be better if it can not feel so sometimes. I was really unlucky throughout my illness. The worst that could happen was what I suffered. It was really daunting sometimes and I felt that it will never be good. I will never get well, live normally. I will not be able to talk. But it will be good. It's getting better. Just hang in there. Take one day at a time.
